essano Facial Wipes Gentle Cleansing Wipes Review

These wipes are reasonably priced and come in a pretty standard pack of 20. They feel thicker, just generally more robust, than other wipes I've tried, although they are drier than most.

Essano facial wipes are excellent for quick makeup removal. If you're travelling or going out and don't feel like (or have facilities for) cleaning your face use one wipe to remove as much as possible then go over with a second to tidy up any last traces. They have a pleasant but not overpowering scent.

I feel like they're not particularly moisturising, although they don't dry out the skin. I use these mainly for travelling and the only real drawback is that they dry out quite quickly no matter how well you seal them back up :(

I love cleansing wipes, it's a quick easy way to remove make-up at the end of the day. These meet all the needs, damp enough to remove the days make-up, smell lovely and don't leave your skin feeling dehydrated afterwards (just in case you get side-tracked and don't get to the night cream soon enough)

Packaging is lovely, as all Essano products are, more pricey than generic supermarket wipes but I for one, am happy to pay the extra for a good brand.

I picked these up from countdown when they were on sale for $7. These are ok, I like that they are made from natural ingredients and is gentle on the skin. These would remove my make up pretty well but I would still need to use my cleanser afterwards. They did have a soft gentle fragrence, but it didn't transfer onto the skin. I also didn't notice them leaving a film on my skin afterwards. I can't say they were moisturising, as I cleansed and moisturised my skin after using them but they didn't dry my skin out. Over all, I would use these again, they didn't really have any down points to them, but they weren't "wow amazing".

I don't really buy wipes anymore, most don't remove my makeup as well as other things and most make my skin feel super dry. (Also I always feel bad using them because of the environmental factor!) I picked these up a while ago on sale and was pleasantly surprised. I used these on days when I was feeling super lazy to remove my makeup and for things like wiping swatches off my hand.

I only needed to use one wipe to remove my whole face of make-up. These didn't dry my skin out (they didn't make my skin feel hydrated either). They also didn't leave my skin feeling sticky or leave any residue. They didn't dry out in the packet and I got to use every wipe.

I felt like they were reasonably priced and one of the better make-up wipes I've tried. I think they would be a good choice if you are looking for wipes, but would still definitely recommend cleansing and moisturising after!

I LOVE these! I was in a play last year and needed some wipes for removing stage makeup. Saw these on special and after trying their handcream I knew it was an easy choice. Other people back stage had different wipes, but the smell of these was lovely, much better than the others, more importantly they removed all the makeup with minimal effort. Unfortunately they disappeared too quickly as everyone wanted to use them from then on. I had to purchase another pack and keep it hidden.

I bought these from Pak n Save when I had run out of my regular face wipes. I had heard a lot about Essano and Rosehip in general so was quite excited to try them.

The price was fairly average. Most wipes are around that price point but you can often get packs with 25 in them, whereas these "only" have 20.

The packaging is the standard dusty rose and brown that Essano uses across their range. The sticky label on top stayed sticky until using the last wipe which is good as it helps prevent the wipes from drying out.

As for the wipes themselves, they had a nice fragrance and they did do what they said they would. The problem I had with them is that they made my face really greasy. Not rosehip-oily, but an actual grease feeling on my skin. It didn't appear until about 20 minutes after using each wipe but it was definitely there and put me off using the wipes entirely.

Because of this, I won't be repurchasing these wipes.

I tried these out recently as I had loved the starter pack of Essano products so I thought that I would give these a go as well when I had run out of wipes.

The packaging is your usual plastic packaging. I find that the plastic lid part has a tendency of not staying down. But as with most wipes I find storing them on the lid helps so your wipe is nice and moist and the lid stays on for as long as possible.

The wipe itself smelt fine, nothing offensive. But my major problem with them was that I didn't think they were really damp enough to do a good job. I also found that they did a crap job of removing waterproof mascara and I always had to use micellar water as well around my eyes which was annoying. They didn't irritate my sensitive skin though so at least that was a plus.

For me these were really just average and I won't be repurchasing.

I really liked these wipes for refreshing my face, and in the summer, when hot and sticky, I also used them on my body! They had a nice enough smell, nothing over powering! I didn't use them for removing make up so don't know how good they would be for that purpose but more than adequate for refreshing and cleansing my face.
