Holy Grail of All-in-Ones

Anything chapped or dry... 8 hour cream is there! Use it on lips, on the face, around nails.. it can do so much! For those a bit more advanced with cosmetics it can be used as a gloss over eyeshadow for that high fashion look. Its pricey for something you may not use all the time but is definitely worth having in your handbag!

Must have product

This is one of my handbag must haves. I use this product for anything and everything you can imagine. It's fantastic for dry skin, healing sores, burns, and even something as simple as a lip balm. I love love love this product

Great for lips!

This cream can fix your lips in any state! I always use it when my lips are dry and sore and after a few hours they're practically healed! Definitely worth it!

Love this cream

I have an oily skin and this cream doesnt make my face look shiny like so many creams do. My skin feels hydrated for the whole day. I love that I can use it as a day cream but it works just as well at night. I wake up with soft skin that is well hydrated and primed for makeup. The only slight negative about this cream is the smell as its strong and pungent, but the benefits of the cream definitely outweigh this negative and this moisturiser is a trusty steed to my skin especially in winter time when I need the extra hydration.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

This product is amazing a lasts a life time! You only ever need a small amount as it goes a long way.

Tips: I sometimes keep mine in the fridge in summer to keep it from going to liquid-like.

Great!

I quite liked this product! It is of a gel-like consistency and has a somewhat moderate but not over-powering smell of roses which some may like, some won't. I didn't really mind it, the product (regardless of the smell) made up for it :) It is multipurpose, extremely useful. On the pricey side though. For a cheaper alternative, try Vaseline or Lucas Papaw. I literally swear by it :-)

Tips: Rub a little over your eyes then wipe off to get rid of makeup!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

I have used this a lot over the years and love it. I use it most as a lip balm, especially when my lips are really dry as this tends to happen to me when the seasons change. I always have a tube of this in my handbag! It is a really versatile product and is great to have on hand (burns, insect bites, balm etc.)

Tips: For really dry flaky lips smooth on a layer of Eight Hour Cream. Leave on for approx 5 mins and use a damp flannel in a circular motion to remove any dead skin. Put another layer of Eight Hour Cream on as a balm. Leaves lips super smooth!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

My biggest issue with this cream, is what do I need to use it for. It says it's a repair cream for minor burns, rashes etc. And so because I didn't have any of these at the time of trial it was hard to see any results. I have used it on my lips as a lip balm and it seems to work well at that. I'm sure I will use it over summer on try skin patches , itchy bites and any sunburn I may get. It is also fragrance free, but there definitely is a smell to this product, and because they've added no extra fragrance to it, it's not that pleasant.

Tips: Good to use as a lip balm once you get used to the smell.

The ultimate all-in-one

I once watched Tyra Banks interview her mother when I was a teenager. Tyra was asking her mother - who looked as young as Tyra - about her beauty regime. Her mothers secret was to put vaseline under eyes before she went to bed every night. I followed this beauty tip for next 15 years often trying other eye creams, but always coming back to good old vaseline. Nearing 32, I am yet to see a wrinkle yet. More recently, I have started using Lucas Pawpaw which I swear by - however, the Elizabeth Arden Cream is a strong contender to top these two. It isn't as greasy, nor does it have that horrible chemical smell that petroleum based eye creams have. In the morning there is little to no residue and my eyes look fresh. I think my partner enjoyed using the cream more than I did though - often asking for 'the cream' to use on his dry elbows. It didn't 'smell like a girl' so he greedily used it daily.

Tips: Great for using on nail cuticles and as a back up lip gloss.
