e.l.f Brow Kit Review

I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and have been using it every day to try and learn to love it but it just doesnt do what i need it to do. Also the little brush that comes with it is useless (although i expected that as most brushes or applicators that comes with products arnt very high quality) ive heard amazing things about it like youtube gurus but it just wasnt for me unfortunately. I like my brows to be very precise and filled in and it just doesn't do that for me

I really did not like this product. I obviously got it because of the hype and of course the price.

Now where to start, first of all I found it really hard to choose the right shade. I got light brown hair that's borderline mousy blonde, so it is kinda hard to fins brow shades. But for this product it seemed to be extra hard. I think because there is so much difference between the wax colour and the powder colour its all kinda confusing.

The whole concept of using wax to "stick down" your brows sounds amazing and I just had to try it. But for me it just did not work at all. My brows literally looked greasy. Like I had soaked them in oil. Also the colour pay out was so sheer it just was not worth it for me.

I tried to make it work and Its not doing it for me at all. I might have gotten a dud, because this has happened before for me when t comes to ELF products. I might give it another go later on, by buying a new one from a different batch.

After all the hype of this product I was expecting something brilliant, but this product honestly didn't reach my expectations at all and I usually love e.l.f products.. This product was really hard to work with, the product wouldn't spread properly and look really patchy. The product just made my eyebrows look like they were super oily. I personally like my eyebrows to look defined so I definitely wouldn't recommend this product if you like the same. For the price I wasn't really bothered if it worked or not.

I brought the kit after rave reviews and wasn't convinced the gel stuff is weird and looked caked so used a different brush than provided. The color is good but not much different from using a eye shadow to fill my brows

I wish I could love this product but I just can't.

The packaging is nice and sturdy. That is one thing I liked about the product it's small and compact and just keeps the product nice and safe.

However The brush wasn't great which is fine I can just use my own but the powder was to dark for me in the medium and the light was to light. It also wasn't easy to work with and wore off really quickly for me. The wax was okay but was hard to work with and didn't disperse through my brows nicely. I don't have the time everyday to persevere with this product and would not buy it again! Which is a shame because as I said I wanted to love this product like everyone else.

Wax is OK but not the best. It doesn't day define your brows because it blends in to the brows. Doesn't stay put very long and this is not smudge proof. I purchased the shade medium and the powder is too light. You can use the powder that comes with the kit for the first inner half of your brows but I found it was too dark to set the whole brow. Not a bad product I would recommend for something starting makeup and want to try out different products for an affordable price.

This was the first brow anything I had purchased, and I was a bit iffy about it. I got it when it finally came back in stock on iHerb and I know I didn't pay too much for it, something I'm thankful for!

I had a brief read on the back of the packaging, and then I opened it and had a play. I had to keep referring back to the box it came in as the instructions weren't very easy to remember, and I kept forgetting what each of the brown things did. One is a gel and one is a powder, but where do they go!? I think giving someone like me two options was a mistake, especially since I had no idea how to use the darn thing.

I have no idea what shade I got - probably brown. I didn't like the brush either, the wax part didn't sit on the brush nicely at all, or maybe it was because the brush was too big; if it were shorter I think I wouldn't have had a problem here. The powder was super duper orange (for a brown) so I didn't use it for anything on my face.

Overall, I really didn't like this product. I don't know if it's because I'm an eyebrow noob, but even after all the practice I've had I still don't think I could nail it.

I bought this product for $9 in kmart and thought because it being an E.L.F product, it would be really good. I found it didn't give me much pigmentation and was very hard to blend in. The brush it came with also started shredding hairs. Despite it being a good price, it is not a good product for my liking.

Both colours were far too dark and not claiming to be what they said. Would recommend to people that enjoy having thick looking eyebrows but definitely not impressed.

I was pretty disappointed with this product to be honest, I had seen so many great reviews by beauty gurus on Youtube and sites like that, but when I tried it for myself it just wasn't anything amazing? I wouldn't say it was terrible and I would never use it again but I just think it was hyped up a lot for not really any amazing reason. The brush absolutely sucks for starters, it's a lot easier to use with a different angled brush - I used my Eco Tools angled brush. I just felt like the wax didn't sit in my brows very nicely, it looked sort of patchy and cakey? Maybe I should eventually try this product again and give it another go :)
