e.l.f Brow Kit Review

Easy to use and works wonders,I prefer just using the wax tbh and like the ash one best. So affordable and does just as great a job if not better than other leading brands like the benefit brow mascara thing they used on me at their brow stand :)

I had been wanting to get my hands on this for ages, and finally got one today! I have the ash colour and it's great for all the blondies. I have other eyebrow kits and pencils etc etc but this one I am in love with after just one use. The wax filled in my eyebrows and matched them perfectly without looking overdone. The powder was really good to set my eyebrows and they have stayed in place all day. I definitely recommend these, they are so easy and super quick to use! Great for beginners!

I've only recently started filling and shaping my eyebrows. Before using the e.l.f brow kit I had no idea what to do. But now I've gone from an amateur to a pro. With the pigmented brow gel to define, the brow powder to fill in and the brush that comes with it, you can't go wrong. They make my eyebrows look filled but natural. I love my e.l.f brow kit! Definitely one of my holy grail products!

I once upon a time was a brow virgin. I was traumatised as a child with dance stage make up and a woman would stand in the wings with a dark brown pencil and hurridley draw all the girls eyebrows on, one straight swipe before we lept on stage. Safe to say we all ended up with dark, skinny, disgusting brows. It really did traumatise me!

Anyways, I thought I would go out on a whim and buy the elf brow kit in Ash since it was so cheap and see what it could do for my fair, quite sparse brows and if it was useless then there was no large price tag to cry about. It was AMAZING! So simple to use and basically foolproof! I use the gel when I would like a more defined, stay in place brow and then lightly fill in with the powder. For a more natural, everyday brow I just use the powder and its perfect for when on the go.

Packaging is compact and practical, the amount of product is perfect. I have had my current one which is on it's last legs, for over a year now. Literally can't rave about this product enough! It is one of the things I could not ever live without!!

As far as eyebrows go, I've always had trouble matching colours and having them look natural and amazing. I've also normally stuck to using pencils. I saw this on iherb and thought I'd give it a go. I was a bit worried about using a brush to apply at first but wow, it was so easy!! I ordered the medium colour and it was a perfect match for my reasonably dark eyebrows. The brush is fine but strong so you can get a clean straight line and it flows over the brow so easily. I then dust over it with the powder to take the edge off the shine and make it more natural. I wear this whenever I do any makeup for the day as the look is soft enough to go with the whole "not wearing makeup" look or simply apply more to make them bolder to go with a more heavier look. This is now my favorite eyebrow product and it has allowed me to join the world of fabulous eyebrows! I know this because I now get compliments on them wherever I go. Thanks elf!

I'm really impressed with this eyebrow kit. The gel side is a really nice consistency. It's easy to only apply a little at a time so that you don't end up with brows that are too dark or fake looking. Sometimes eyebrow gels can make your brows look a little too filled in, but I think this kit gives a really nice natural effect, while still helping you make your brows look tidy. I have medium brown hair and the Medium kit is perfect for me. The powder side is a lot warmer than the gel so I'm careful not to put too much on and giving my brows an orange tinge. The gel actually looks great on it's own too, but putting powder on top means it will last longer and won't accidentally smudge.

I use the elf brow kit daily - I prefer this over an eyebrow pencil and can shape the brow a lot nicer.

I find I use the wax alone and it's enough it darken and fill the brow.

Odourless, cheap and compact. I keep one in my handbag and one with the rest of my makeup

I love my e.l.f eyebrow kit! When I finally got my hands on one, I ordered the darkest shade as my eyebrows are black so I thought the medium/brown shade would look ridiculous on my eyebrows....

I had been using the dark one for a few days (thank God I didn't have to go anywhere) because I looked ridiculous! The colour was far too harsh for my eyebrows and it just didn't suit.

I wasn't too bothered by it as a week or two before I ordered it (through iherb), I had actually won a little FB competition and that very prize pack had the medium e.l.f brow kit in it :)

When it arrived, I just had to play around with it to see if it was the colour I needed, and it was YAY! :) It was the perfect colour for me. It tidies up my brows so nicely, but they look like my natural brows which is great because I'm such a rookie when it comes to filling them in etc.

It's such a subtle yet highly effective colour, for me it tidies them up really nicely (I'm too scared to go the full monty on them) but practice makes perfect :)

It wears really well and with an added coat of the e.l.f brow gel, they don't budge. Even when I accidently bump my brows, or forget that I've got something on them, there's never any smudges which is amazing because these e.l.f products are so cheap and you wouldn't really expect this sort of quality from such a cheap product but I'm seriously so impressed with the brow kit.

I am on the hunt for a cheapish brow brush as I do tend to struggle a bit when I'm applying the gel, it's quite a small brush and hard to get a good grip of it, but for now it's doing the job. It just takes me a little longer to apply and get it right, but it's no biggie :)

I would definitely recommend this product for people who are just starting out and want a cheap one to play with first. You might find that you actually really love it (like myself) and wouldn't mind only having this one. It really is such a lovely brow kit. I'm sl glad I have one :)

This was the product I needed without knowing it. I had seen a lot of great reviews about this product and everyone raving about it on BR, and so I brought it from iherb soon after, although my eyebrows are already quite thick, so I didn’t think I would use it, I just got caught up in the hype.

Boy, was I wrong! This product is packaged very similarly to the other elf products; it comes in a sleek black compact that has a clear window that reveal some on the product, with the elf brand in white on the outside.

The application of this product is easy; it comes with its own brush, which I used in the beginning before using my own eyebrow brush. One side has a defining gel, and the other side has a powder. Together they work perfectly to blend and create a natural look, which is easy to achieve, even for the novice make-up user like myself.

I have quite thick eyebrows, and so I did not think I would benefit from this product, however, my eyebrows are more like distance cousins then sisters, so I found this product really good at evening them at so they look similar! Plus for the price of $3 off iherb, this product is hard to complain about, and I recommend everyone tries it!

I bought this product while I was in USA- was a steal at only a couple of dollars. Its my absolute fave! Great colour, great consistency of the wax and one of the best packaged brow poroducts I have come across! Nice and compact, has a little mirror and the brush it comes with is perfect. I have also used the powder as eyeshadow and love it in the contour for a natural nude look. I recently went back to the states and tried to find it again and stock up, however they dont stock it in all stores there - looks like when i run out i'll be purchasing online. Its sold in NZ online for about $10 more than in the US, however i would be happy to pay that as its a great product!
