e.l.f Brow Kit Review

In love with the Elf brow kit in dark, Defines and shapes my eyebrows perfectly as well as filling in. i will never go back to a brow pencil. Love Love Love!

I bought this because of the hype it received on youtube. Oh my, how everyone just raves about this, i mean its cheap and it makes your brows amazing, thats what they say.. Prior to buying this, I've been using the benefit brows-a-go-go, when i bought this, i wasn't expecting a lot from the packaging and brush so i didn't really care bout that, but everyone seem to say this is a dupe for benefit brow zings, and i was all for saving money, i bought this in dark and at initial use, for me, the wax was too firm, i had to warm it up with my fingers and i didn't like wasting product, the powder was okay, but not pigmented or creamy enough to stick to the wax, it wasn't sticking to my brows, and if you don't have hair and you're trying to create a tail, then you're stuffed cause it's not gonna show. About 2 hours later, I had a half-brow which was horrible, my brows had faded. It's okay but the hype it gets is too over rated, would i repurchase? Nope! But for the price, i wasn't too upset of it not living up to my expectations.

I totally think the elf brow kit is amazing. For the small price of chips it definitely leaves your brows looking fab! I enjoy using this as my everyday brow kit. Good for those on a budget :)

I just bought this in dark to try and was not expecting to love it so much. I was previously using a brow kit by nutrimetics but ran out of wax. Prefer the elf one much better. The wax is pigmented and perfect for creating shape to the brow. It looks shiny but once dusted in powder it becomes matte. The brush is tiny so I get excellent persicion with it. My brows look great so will continue to buy this for ever. I even like the packaging its mirror stands on its own and the compact seems quite sturdy.

This is honestly one of my all time favourite products! Unfortunately for me I have basically no brows :( they are very fine hairs to begin with and to top that they are such a pale color that you can barely see them naturally. So thank the lord for this brow kit, which comes in 'ash' so the color looks natural on me, and most people cant even tell that ive had to fill them in completely. I'm not a fan of the wee brush that comes with it, but tha'ts fine I just use my own angled brush to apply the gel and then powder. Suuuuch an awesome product, and for that price, I will never use anything else :)

For me I really liked this product, it goes on well and doesn't dry out easy. However the lightest colour can be too dark for blondes.

But be warned I have done a lot of research in ELF and have had a lot of experience in it. 1. ordering off third party sites may lead to a more quality product. As self life will be longer for the less popular products. 2. It is way cheaper to get the popular products from third party US sites

I really did not like this product. I obviously got it because of the hype and of course the price.

Now where to start, first of all I found it really hard to choose the right shade. I got light brown hair that's borderline mousy blonde, so it is kinda hard to fins brow shades. But for this product it seemed to be extra hard. I think because there is so much difference between the wax colour and the powder colour its all kinda confusing.

The whole concept of using wax to "stick down" your brows sounds amazing and I just had to try it. But for me it just did not work at all. My brows literally looked greasy. Like I had soaked them in oil. Also the colour pay out was so sheer it just was not worth it for me.

I tried to make it work and Its not doing it for me at all. I might have gotten a dud, because this has happened before for me when t comes to ELF products. I might give it another go later on, by buying a new one from a different batch.

I love this kit. Before this kit I hadn't been filling in my brows really at all. I had tried using pencils but it always turned out waaay too dark and I decided to try this kit because my eyebrows always seem to disappear in photos. The gel is my favorite part because it's the perfect colour and you don't have to work hard to get it in the right place and the right amount. And if you wantbto set them a bit more you can use the powder, but i dont always use it. It's simple to use and makes your brows pop. Definitely a beginners must have :)

I have medium brown eyebrows, and I find the Medium kit to be just the right colour with which to fill them in. My eyebrows are already quite full so it doesn't make a huge difference to them. The setting powder also doesn't really keep my brows in place very well so, even when using the kit, they can still look quite messy.

personally I feel their is a better kit. its definitely great for beginners, but I find I don't get enough precise and I like my eyebrows to look crisp and absolutely perfect. Im more of a brow pencil and a little powder girl I do like both but only when they are combined. but its all about your own personal preferences I guess :)
