I wouldn't use anything else because this is so cheap and does the exact same job as more expensive brands. It also lasts me 6-8 months per brow kit.

Tips: Best applied with an angled brow brush, the brush it comes with is a bit too small
When I first bought this product, I was so excited. Finally something that could mean my eyebrows will look like eyebrows! It took me a few tries to figure out how to really use it. But I still wasn't very happy with the product. The brush that came with the product was cheap, and the gel didn't sit very well on the brush. When it came to applying, it almost seemed like the gel didn't want to sit on my skin. After awhile I gave up using the gel, and used my favourite pencil for the the outline instead, and used the e.l.f eyebrow powder to fill the eyebrow in.
Tips: This may work for you if you have a decent eyebrow brush on hand, as I don't think the one that comes with the kit works very well.
I never really bothered with my brows before this, might put a bit of brown eyeshadow in to slightly shape it but otherwise I did nothing. Then I caved and bought it off iHerb for a few dollars and boy have I not looked back. I now get compliments on my brows and before I felt they were my worst feature!
This product is such good value for money! However the problem that I have is that the waxy side of the dark palette is very dark on my brunette brows, however the powder is orange toned and too light. I still recommend highly as it is a great product, but maybe just not for my eyebrow colour.
Got mine from iHerb for under 5NZD in the colour Ash. My sister and I use it almost daily and we have strikingly different hair colours.
I have dyed my hair ash blonde and it fits me perfectly, whilst her hair is naturally black.
It deposits the colour fairly well and is very natural looking. I get the most use out of the brow wax though/
Tips: Set it with the powder right after to prevent the brows from looking too tacky
This was the first brow anything I had purchased, and I was a bit iffy about it. I got it when it finally came back in stock on iHerb and I know I didn't pay too much for it, something I'm thankful for!
I had a brief read on the back of the packaging, and then I opened it and had a play. I had to keep referring back to the box it came in as the instructions weren't very easy to remember, and I kept forgetting what each of the brown things did. One is a gel and one is a powder, but where do they go!? I think giving someone like me two options was a mistake, especially since I had no idea how to use the darn thing.
I have no idea what shade I got - probably brown. I didn't like the brush either, the wax part didn't sit on the brush nicely at all, or maybe it was because the brush was too big; if it were shorter I think I wouldn't have had a problem here. The powder was super duper orange (for a brown) so I didn't use it for anything on my face.
Overall, I really didn't like this product. I don't know if it's because I'm an eyebrow noob, but even after all the practice I've had I still don't think I could nail it.
This is quite a great drugstore product. It is pigmented yet you can also get a more natural look with is also which is what I love about it.
Tips: Try it! :)
I would like to think that I have become somewhat if a brow connoisseur in the last year or so. When I watch a film I'm not paying attention to the plot line, I'm admiring that girls eyebrows that are so on point that even my 5 year old nephew is jealous. The elf eyebrow kit in medium is an essential part of my brow routine. A holy grail if you will. The gel is perfect and leaves my brows looking 'on fleek'. I feel like the only downside to this kit is that in the medium shade the powder is a bit on the orange side and turns my brows a strange colour so I tend to lean away from using it and use a brow mascara with the gel instead. Aside from that the formulation is perfect and this is a product I could not live without.
Tips: The powder can come off as slightly orange so make sure to double check in natural lighting before leaving the house.
This product is great for both eye brow beginners and those more experienced
I use the darkest shade however it is a tad lighter than my natural eyebrow colour so I wish they added a darker drown shade so I didn't have to build up tge colour as much as . However I make it work by just building the product up.
the packaging isn't anything fancy however it doesn't have a cheap feeling to it. And it's small enough to fit into any makeup bag
I found that the powder (which you use to set the brow) is waaaay lighter than the gel and has almost a red undertone to it. However once you've used the gel right through the brow and you lightly dust the powder over it The gel seems to cancel out the red undertone.
I use the small brush that comes with it . It's not the greatest brushe however i recommend you clean it often (I wipe it off after every use) to insure the bristles don't stick together
Tips: Build it up gradually Clean the brush as often as possible (after every use if you can)
This was a snazzy little kit that helped me to start my brow journey. I remember getting excited just opening it every time I did my brows; I felt like a MUA except no MUA would have made the mess that I did on my brows haha.
It's a sturdy black plastic compact with a wax and powder that comes with quite a horrendous applicator. There is an angled edge for the wax to help define and outline your brows and on the other end there is a dense brush tip for the powder to help set the wax. If you're like me who is a tad too lazy to reach for the angled brush you'll somehow make it work.
I used to buy the shade Medium and even though it was a tad too light for my brows; the shade Dark would have looked very unnatural. I loved the wax and the angled edge of the brush could easily pick up the product; you just had to be quite aware of how much you picked up because it's not the best brush to sheer out your brows.
I was not a fan of the powder. I found it too light for me and with little makeup application skills I always seemed to go outside of the defined area. If I really wanted to set the wax I just used a brown eyeshadow and a spoolie to soften the look.
The kit lasted me a good couple of months and I believe I went through 3 compacts before moving onto eye pencils and eyeshadows for my eyebrows.
