Dove Beauty Bar Review

I have nothing bad to say about dove soap. My favourite is the green dove soap yum yum yummo! Beautiful smell mmmmm. Never leaves your skin dry... I'm just not sure what else to write? This soap is perfect in every way

Every so often my skin really flares up with eczma and everything I use seems to irriatate it and make it worse, EXCPET dove. I now use it religiously to treat and prevent my eczma.

It smells delish and doesn't dry my skin like soap, and doesn't irritate like body wash. It lathers up nicely and leaves a really nice fresh clean feeling.

This is a product I will be using for the rest of my life, and swear by it to everyone! Can't rave enough.

I love this soap, I like the smell, very clean and nicely fragrant without being overpowering. I like the fact that it is non drying, and 1/4 of it is moisturiser, so it cleans but doesn't seem to strip your skin, but has a pleasant enough fragrance for all the family. The shape of it, makes it easy to hold whilst wet in the shower, and its a reasonable price in the supermarket and often on sale in the 4 and 6 packs. I use this daily and have done for years, its a staple in my beauty cupboard.

I have sensitive skin when it comes to soap and can't use most of them (including the packs you get when you check in to hotels etc). But this one is different. I've been using it for years and never had a problem. They have this bar and other bars and they're all great. They don't dry my skin, they don't irritate my skin (BIG plus), and they're really easy to use. I've even been known to use it on my face on the odd occasion - although it does dry it out so only if my face is super oily.

The packaging is a cardboard/plastic type box with the beauty bar inside. The bar itself is a sleek and beautiful looking bar of soap. It is white, oval shaped and it is also curved which makes using it much easier which I love.

The bar itself has a lovely scent that is not overpowering and when you use it in the bath.shower you can see and feel the 1/4 moisturising lotion they claim to be in the beauty bar, which feels great.

After using it in the shower/bath, my skin personally does not feel dried out or about to crack. Instead it feels soft and smells great., so its great when you are in a rush however I still prefer to follow with their matching moisturizer which all works together amazingly.

This retails for about $4 - $6 per bar which is quite affordable and you can get this at your local dairy or supermarket which is handy. The bar would last me at least 14 days with daily use, and they also sell these in packs of 2 or 4 which is great for the family.

It's so important to me that anything I use to wash my body doesn't dry out my skin, an experience I've had numerous times before. Dove isn't lying about its 'quarter moisturising lotion'. This soap will leave your skin nice and clean and nourished, not dry!

I do buy this a lot even though my rating is not high. I find it drys my skin out and leaves my face super tight. So I find myself rinsing with cold water and applying a moisturizer straight away. I do love the smell and it's really great for my daughter's acne prone skin. Affordable and lasts a long time.

I have used Dove moisturising soap for quite a while now, and the fragrance is fresh and not too strong, it does lather although not quite a much as most soaps, and is gentle on the skin. I did try using on the face a couple of time and found it left my skin feeling tight and dry, so now only use it in the shower. I do believe it is much gentler than most soaps and not quite a drying. I do follow this with an application of body lotion and this appears to do the trick, particularly in summer when the skin tends to become a lot drier. Most stores frequently have Dove on special and when they do I stock up, so it works out at about the same price as the average soap.

I love a soap bar to accompany body wash. I feel like I get a complete clean that way. I normally buy the twin Dove Beauty Bar packs for myself in the shopping. Unlike other products I'm not too fussed if it falls into the bath tub as it holds it shape quite well without getting mushy quickly. It has a fresh scent and it has its attractive logo with embedded into the top of the bar. Its best for your body but have felt tightness using on my face. It is more moisturising than other soaps but its not too noticeable.
