I've owned Hypnotic Poison off and on for 5 years ! Totally love it, although i don't love the price, this was my everyday perfume for years, so it was a rather pricey everyday but worth it... I always get complements smelling amazing.
With strong vanilla notes it's easily wearable, and its a scent that will last for 8 hours its great !
Tips: A little goes along way, i find spritzing it on my neck, and wrists lasts all day & into the evening!
A beautiful, rich fragrance. It's strongly vanilla based, and I'd argue (sorry!) that it overpowers the bitter almond and jasmine notes.
I can see the appeal of this fragrance to people who seek sophisticated, classic or rich fragrance but it is just a bit too heavy for my own taste.
The vanilla is too rich for myself. Like wearing an eighties recipe cream pie on my body. Sorry!
Tips: For when you feel that subtle fragrances are overrated
Although quite expensive this perfume is totally worth it!!. whilst smelling soooo good it actually lasts, not just the day but it can sometimes last through the wash aswell. I hate over bearing perfumes and this is perfectly balanced. no sickly smell.. definately feminine. I cant get enough of this perfume. ITS DELICIOUS!!!!
Tips: No tips as it is magical anyway you wear it!! but a little goes a long way!!
I adore this perfume, it has been my favourite for a few years now. I find I always have people asking me what perfume i am wearing because i smell so nice, it lasts all day/night and you only need a squirt or two of it. well worth the money and I will continue to repurchase

If you have not tried it before, then do! It is a must if you are a fan of gourmand fragrances. This is a perfectly harmonious creamy, spicy, almond and vanilla concoction.
The strength in the theme of this scent varies between different people. On one friend it smells darker and alluring (Dita von teese type) and on me is smells more cheekily spicy (maybe even slightly earthy).
The most affordable place to buy this (it is quite often on special) is on Strawberry.net, currently selling at $84.50 for a 30ml. It is pretty awesome that you can get one of the best perfumes on the market for an affordable price!
Tips: Apply lighter amounts on warmer days. I don't think you can get away with mixing this with any scented moisturisers.
One of my all time favourites!! Luv this captivating fragrance long lasting vanilla and musk notes just stunning! Is a little more expensive but well worth it! Fragrance is a parfume so fragrance lingers long after you've sprayed this. Reminds me every time of my best friend as this was her wedding fragrance, just georgous!
Tips: Spray lightly, wears beautifully all day
i find myself in the fragrance section of a shop for over 45 mins just smelling and testing perfumes, I prefer a sweeter note than floral and Dior Hypnotic Poison is the one that marks all the boxes for me. It smells delicious and it actually lasts a whole day even out in the hot sun.
Tips: As it is rather pricey I would recommend it as a treat and I only use mine for special occasions and not an everyday perfume
I was shown this by my friend. I am so happy in my life that I have found such a lovely, yummy scent which has a long lasting scent on whatever you put it on. However this does come with a price, it is very expensive but in my books well worth it. I think its the type of perfume you wear on special occasions if you want to be remembered. If you haven't tried it you really really must.
Tips: Yes this is a perfect perfume but be in mind younger ones that a lot of middle aged women wear it.
Sensual and exotic vanilla and musk are my all time favourite blends. Quite a strong perfume which means a little goes a long way. I would say this is a heavier fragrance that settles to a nice powdery finish. I am always complimented whenever I use this fragrance. One of the best luxury scents I have ever used. This is my ultimate favourite.
Tips: If you dont like wearing a heavier perfume and want something lighter try wearing the body lotion instead as an alternative. You will recieve the unique scent just in a lighter form. I use the body lotion a lot during the day to keep the scent lingering.
This is my signature scent and had been for almost 10 years. It's such a grown up and sexy smelling perfume. I love vanilla and I think that's what draws me to this perfume. It lasts for so long and a little really does go a long way. Plus if you layer it with the moisturiser it's even better for special occasions
Tips: Be sure you are buying the correct one as they have now brought out a hypnotic poison eua secrete and it doesn't smell the same. I mistakenly hit it thinking they had just slightly changed the bottled and wondered why I didn't like the smell as much. Thank goodness I realised its actually a slightly different mix of notes.
