Crest 3d Vivid White Strips

I came across these in the local pharmacy when living in Hong Kong. I've never tried any teeth whitening products before, and being a coffee addict and (ex) smoker I was keen to try these out. The simplicity of the product is what was most appealing to me (no mucking around with gels and moulds).

There are 2 clear strips per single use; a longer one for the top row of teeth, and a slightly shorter one for the bottom row of teeth. Application is really easy, you simply just peel the strips off and stick them on to your teeth. (I pressed the strip down over one tooth at a time to make sure that the front surface was covered properly and evenly). There is a bit of overhang, but just tuck this under the back side of your teeth.

They do stay on and in place until you peel them off after the 30min processing time. The product on the strips foams up a bit while you have them on. The taste isn't the nicest, but I didn't find it overly strong or unpleasant. I only noticed 'shocks' of pain while wearing the strips - I didn't have any lingering sensitivity at any other time. I used these every evening, after brushing my teeth just before bed. I had noticeable results after about a week, and after completing the full course exactly as advised, my teeth were most definitely white! I couldn't believe the difference when I saw photographs of me smiling.

It's been about a year since I did that first treatment, and I'm really glad that you can purchase these here in NZ (even though they are more than twice the price!), as it's time for a touch up.

I had always wanted to whiten my teeth but the fear of going to the dentist always kept me away so I looked for alternatives that didn't involve me going into a dentist. I found an online website that sold the 3d Crest strips and I ordered me a pack of 20, I couldn't wait to give these a go!

The first time I used these it was really awkward, it comes with a top strip and a bottom strip, the strip is plastic and it has this gel on it, you mould it onto your teeth and let the magic begin! The first few times it was hard to talk or do normal things because my mouth would accumulate with saliva and it felt so weird! But after a few times it got easier.

After the 3rd go I noticed my teeth were 2-3 shades lighter, I was totally amazed! By the time I had finished my 20 strips my teeth were so white, the whitest I had ever seen! But with these new pearly whites my teeth had become very sensitive, just the fresh cold air was enough to make my teeth hurt, Sensodyne sensitive toothpaste did help keep the edge off the sensitivity.

These strips are fantastic, a lot of my friends and family brought these after seeing my teeth, the results are unreal!

I purchased these after hearing great things about them from numerous you-tubers and bloggers and they didn't disappoint. I only used once per week as have sensitive teeth anyhow and most of the time they didn't cause pain. Only minimal discomfort (due to exposed nerves, so probably wouldn't occur for those without this problem). Only once were they for some reason excruciating and I had to remove? Not sure why they were so sore just the once. I have only used about 7 sachets (7 uses) and my teeth are noticeably whiter. Definitely recommended, but just be aware that they may not be pain free.

They did whiten my teeth a little bit but made them so tender ans sore not a good product at all don't use it breaks down your enamel and once its gone its not coming back, and it will make you unable to eat for at least 24hrs. the smell isn't very pleasant either as it smells of bleach yuck!

I will continue to buy these at this stage, purely because I am yet to fine something better. Pros: *Your teeth definitely look whiter and brighter the next day Cons: *Your teeth are sensitive as heck and your gums ache for 1-2 days after *You have to be SUUUUPER careful of not having anything but water after you use it. It says one hour, but I found even then they still get stained more easily, so I just apply them right before bed *You have to leave them on for 30-60 minutes depending on which one you get (I've used both, and I found the 1 hour ones more effective, but also more sensitising) and it feels quite sensitive while it's on n can sting your gums. *they taste revolting *the whiteness only last 1-3 days (my personal experience, maybe it's because I drink too much coffee!!) *the strips adhere well to the front, but i found they peeled off on the back of my teeth n slid around, leaving this gross tasting bleach-slime.

So, there's my crest white experience, it's not a BAAAD review per say, but at the end of the day, you're bleaching your teeth, those are all to be expected. Beauty is Pain!

A whiter smile can make a huge difference to someones appearance, and as someone with naturally yellowing teeth and daily coffee intake, I was already ordering these online whilst still reading the reviews. The product is packaged into separate pouches for each use, with two clear, thin, plastic strips. These are applied to the top and bottom rows of teeth, making sure to avoid the gums, tuck the extra plastic under the teeth and press firmly into the 'cracks' between teeth. They are then worn for 30 minutes. I found that I did need to get my mouth open and lips pulled back as increased saliva makes the strips slip. The first thing I noticed was the taste. The do have a slightly icky, chemical taste so I will now have a mint in my mouth whilst I use them to combat this.

The Crest 3D Vivid White Strips certainly do provide whiter teeth. I personally didn't experience any patchiness. I noticed a significant difference after 3 uses, and did 6 sessions in my first month of uses them. By this point I had begun to have some sensitivity and had achieved much whiter teeth so I stopped using them.

Nine months later my teeth were beginning to become discolored so I repurchased the whitening strips. This time I had sensitivity on the first use, so I only used them for 15 minutes, and then another 15 minutes a week later. This was enough to touch up my teeth. I had tried the '5 minute touch up' Crest strips however these wouldn't stay on my teeth as the plastic is too thin.

The Crest Whitening strips provide an easy and affordable solution to whiter teeth, however I would not recommend these to anyone with any previous history of sensitive teeth.

Let me start off this review by saying I have probably tried every whitening product that can be purchased from the supermarket. I have struggled with yellow teeth for as long as I can remember. I'm not a coffee or wine drinker, it's pretty much a problem I have had since I was young. None of those supermarket products really worked that well and I began to think that my teeth would always look the way they did.

But that was until I tried this product! I am no longer reluctant to smile because of how my teeth look. They are still not 'celebrity white', but they are a vast improvement from how they originally were. I plan to purchase another box of Crest Strips in a few months once my teeth have had a chance to rest.

The 3d Crest Strips that I used were the 'Professional Effects' variety. I purchased them off Amazon for around $50 and they took 2 weeks to arrive. The box contained 20 strips that were to be used for 30 minutes and 2 strips that were to be used for 1 hour. I found that they were easy to apply and they stuck on well. They stick best if you use a paper towel to dry your teeth before application. Avoid getting the strip on your gums because that can hurt quite a bit. You can't really talk properly once you have them on, so I suggest you do it when you don't need to speak to anyone. I did have a bit of sensitivity while using the strips but once I used a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth that problem went away. I also prefered to use them every second or third day (instead of everyday), as this also helped with sensitivity. I began to see results in less than a week and I'm incredibly happy with how they look now.

If you feel like you've tried every whitening product and you're not seeing results, then you should give this product a try. These strips really do work!

I found these way to hard on my teeth, after using only 2 strips I had to give up. My teeth are not super sensitive normally but these just plain hurt! I'm sorry I can't review on whether they whiten like they say, from what I saw and heard they are really good but for me it turned into a painful experience :(

The strips are easy to apply and I don't fault them in any way except that they hurt my teeth like they've never hurt before!

I used these before my wedding to make sure my teeth were nice an white. After about 5 uses my teeth were whiter but they seemed to be feeling more and more sensitive after each use. I persevered a couple more times for the sake of pearly whites on my big day but I stopped after that. I wouldn't use them again as they did cause discomfort.

After hearing so many beauty gurus raves about this product, I went and tried it myself. Hmmm I have only used 3 stripes and I couldn't continue cause it made my teeth sore and painful! I can't really comment on the whitening effect cause I haven't used enough to give a full review. I don't have sensitive teeth but it still gave me alot of pain.
