I havent really used Covergirl since I was a teen in the UK...a mere 15 or so years ago! I'm not sure why it dropped off my radar, perhaps it feels quite a young brand?
Anyhoo I tried this foundation after receiving it in my Beauty Box and I was pleasantly surprised!
The foundation is not to thick and not too runny, its a wonderful spreadable consistency that's easy to apply, blend and buff. I used a beauty blender to apply.
I found the shade perfect for now, I would need at least the next shade up in summer. With just 6 shades its quite a limited range, although I was impressed with how well mine matched!
I love that its vegan and cruelty-free, something I didnt realise CG was!
All up, great find, I'm definitely open to trying more from Covergirl!
I got this in a Beauty Box which was a really nice surprise - Cover girl isn't really a brand that's ever been front of mind but i'll be looking at it twice now. You were able to choose your shade and I chose fair/medium which was a pretty good match for me and it seemed to blend in really well.
I like the squeezy tube as it was easy to get out and it blended well with both a sponge and my fingers. You can use it as light or as heavy as you like. All in all I was pretty happy and i'll certainly repurchase.
Tips: Fingers or a sponge either works really well
