Rimmel Lasting Radiance Primer Reviews

I was super excited when I got this in the mail. I am obsessed with primers and think its a crime to use foundation without it but I was really disappointed with this.

It smooths on really nicely but its extremely yellow.

While I was expecting it to be glowy I didn't enjoy the glitter particles either

However the foundation smoothed over it nicely. All in all the primer is okay but only if you are fine with it being quite yellow!

I absolutely love this product. It doesn't leave your skin feeling oily or greasy and blends in perfectly with your skin

I've never wanted to buy primer before as I thought it was just another gimmick by the beauty industry to part us from our hard earned money, but I'm now a convert.

Once you get past the soapy smell of this product, a little goes a long way. My skin feels soft and hydrated without the need for moisturiser, and the biggest bonus is that you need to use far less foundation than normal.

I only need about the size of a 5c piece to cover my whole face, so it's economical, add in the fact you're using less foundation and it's a no brainer and definitely worth the investment.

I also like the plain orange and white packaging, which makes it easy to find in my makeup case.

Overall I would be happy to recommend this product and would definitely consider purchasing it once my trial tube runs out.

I love Rimmel products. I have not used many primers at all so was excited to try this. It comes in a 30 ml squeezy tube. I wish it had a flip top lid. It is a yellow colour and a semi thick consistency. It has a subtle fresh scent.

I use this after moisturising my face. You do not need much as it spreads really well. It makes my skin feel smooth and soft. It dries super fast and doesn't leave any horrible, tacky feeling at all.

My foundation glides on super easily. I have also worn this by itself and it makes my complexion look fresh but nothing amazing. It does not make my skin turn oily and I get no breakouts from this.

I feel like it works well with the matching foundation and concealer but doesn't really make a huge difference so I don't feel like I need to add this into my routine. Didn't wow me at all and there are much better primers out there.

Thanks for the opportunity to try this brand I've never tried before i really enjoyed it. The tube is a good size and once i opened it i was greeted with a nice fresh scent. The colour of the primer is a pale yellowy colour and it has a nice consistency. It has a little glimmer to it so the first time i put it all over my face and I'm sure i sparkled all day! The next few days i wore it just on my cheeks and forehead and i also had a day where i just wore it on its own. I love it it definitely helps the staying power of whatever you put on next. I tried the Rimmel foundation and then i tried my Garnier Bb cream that ive been using for ages and both had better staying power with the primer underneath. Def a stable for me i reckon.

I’m so excited about this primer as I’ve always stuck to mattifying primers because of my oily skin and believed I couldn’t get away with something a little more glowy. It feels almost like a lotion to the touch and blends beautifully into the skin. There’s a slight cucumber scent but it’s very subtle and I really liked it. I was initially shocked at how radiant it made my skin and kept its radiant finish even after I applied my foundation. I have tried this under 3 different foundations and it definitely gave me a lovely base and did help my foundation to go on evenly and keep it fresh. I love the simplicity of the tube as it’s easy to travel with and although it may be a little glowy for someone that experiences a lot of shine throughout the day I would say it’s suitable for most skin types. This has quickly become one of my favourite primers and I plan on using it this weekend on a friend when I do her makeup for her 40th. This primer is perfect for getting that dewy look. It was a thinner consistency than I expected as I am usually used to a thicker primer. I found this was best applied with a brush and you don't need a lot of product. My foundation looked good for the whole day but I did get my usual dry spots on my forehead.

When this first arrived I thought this would just be another average primer, then I used it.. it was tinted and had glitter in it to make my skin glow! It was light on my skin and I could wear it alone or under foundation. I felt it really helped give my foundation that extra staying power and it stayed put on my face all night on a night out. Would definitely use again

It works well by itself to give your face a 'my skin but better' look. Dewy, healthy, radiant.

It provides a smooth base for make up, I found foundation lasted much longer with this underneath.

It's a fantastic primer!
