Rimmel Lasting Radiance Base Regime Reviews

I usually use a different range of products so I was excited to use one brand!

I had never used a primer before so I was interested to see what all the fuss was about. I used this before applying my concealer and foundation and it made my skin feel smooth, and brighter. My foundation also lasted longer than it normally would have! I usually break out after wearing make-up but my skin has been pretty good since using this product - maybe due to the use of a primer for the first time ever! This product was easy to apply, did not have an offensive smell and came in a compact tube - perfect for travel.

I was excited to try the Rimmel Lasting Radiance Concealer because i have a lot of blemishes that affect my self esteem so coverage is vital! I am a big fan of wand concealers because they just make life so much easier, so was excited to discover this product featured a wand brush.. This concealer gave great coverage and didn’t dry my skin out or clog my pores. I felt confident wearing it knowing that my blemishes were adequately hidden. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

I LOVE this foundation. My skin is prone to blemishes after wearing foundation but since using this product my skin has been relatively clear - woohoo! It went on smoothly, gave amazing coverage and left my skin feeling dewy and smooth! It felt like i wasn’t wearing any make-up at all which is a plus in my world. This foundation comes in a slim pump bottle which is easy to use and great for popping in the handbag!

This whole regime is fantastic! I love how simple and easy to use it is. I felt confident and radiant using these products!

All in all I really liked these products for everyday kinda wear. The trio worked well together and I liked what the products had to offer in regards to vitamin c and the sunscreen. The products definitely stayed in place like they said they would, the foundation slightly slightly oxidised, but all in all still happy with the products. They were also very easy to remove at the end of the day.

After my first use of the three products I looked the pricing up on the Farmers website and was geniunely shocked! These products are honestly such good value for money. I've used far more expensive products that didnt get as good results as these. I'm usually more of a tinted moisturiser and a splash of bronzer kinda of girl, especially during the week so was excited to try a more makeupey look.

Helpfully i even had a smeaky pimple pop up the week before to test out the concealer :)

The three products work well together but can all be used effectivelly separately so thats a plus for me.

The primer has a definite shimmer to it so is good for a quick fresh face look on a no makeup day.

The foundation was also a suprise, looking at it in the bottle I thought it was going to be way too dark for my winter skin and to be fair the ivory shade is probably more like my summer skin than the current 28 days of rain in row shade of deathly ill I have going on...

A little bit of moisturiser mixed with the foundation took the colour down a shade and the end resukt was great. The foundation itself glides on nicely over the primer, I tried it without the primer and found it looks way less even and clings to any dry spots on your face.

The concealer rounds out the other two products nicely, easy application with the tube and blends in nicely with your fingertips although I'm sure you'd get a great result using more sophisticated tools ;)

Tried the concealer on the under eye shadows with just the primer and it still blended well and got good coverage.

All in all the regime works best with all three products, it's designed that way for a reason!

Will definitely look at purchasing again when these run out, its a winner for me.

The primer is my favourite from this range - It works well by itself to give your face a 'my skin but better' look. Dewy, healthy, radiant. It provides a smooth base for make up, I found foundation lasted much longer with this underneath.

I enjoyed using the concealer - I found it particularly effective on my under eye area, where I'm both dark and yellow.

The foundation ticks so many boxes, it glows. It's has a lovely dewy finish. Its a light formula that's also very buildable and great price. However with just 6 shades in the range its far from inclusive.

I probably would buy each of these again, particularly as its so easy to pick up Rimmel in store, and the price points of each product are so low, given the quality and results!

So I'm super in love with the 3 items in the Rimmel London set for this trial, and am super excited that they are available an at a cost that this solo mama can afford. These will be my treats when I need to top up what I have left, they work so effortlessly together an last all day long, even in the kitchen at tech where other foundations have sweated off in the past. Now I dont have to feel super self conscious about my skin an the marks, I have already told so many friends and family members about these 3 items. Now they have seen me wearing them with a new found confidence, I've got a few of them heading out there to buy them. I'm so thankful that I was able to trial the primer, concealer and the foundation by Rimmel London.

Love these 3 products together. Made getting ready in the mornings quick and easy which I loved as I have 3 kids that I also have to get ready for school and daycare. Made me feel really confident and was able to walk holding my head high

LOVE two parts of this regime - the primer and the foundation. Could take or leave the concealer but otherwise am seriously in makeup-lust with the primer and the foundation.

Primer: once you get past the soapy smell this product is a dream. It goes on so smoothly and I only needed about the size of a 5c piece to cover my whole face. It's quickly absorbed and my skin felt hydrated and smooth without the need for moisturiser.

The best part of this product is that it cuts down on the amount of foundation you need to use. Definitely a win, and definitely worth the investment.

The plain orange and white packaging makes it easy to find in my makeup case and I'm definitely keen to purchase it once my trial tube runs out.

Foundation: Long lasting medium coverage radiant foundation, just as it promises.

Using the primer underneath meant two small squirts of the foundation was enough to cover my whole face and blend down my neck. The radiance pearls made my skin sparkle and seem 'radiant' for lack of a better word.

The foundation goes on so smoothly, it blends easily and is virtually weightless, you don't even know you're wearing foundation when you touch your skin - which is smooth and dry. It doesn't clog your pores and you definitely don't have the 'caked on' look - it was sheer enough to even out my skin tone without full caked on coverage that you see so often.

Again, the bright orange lid made it stand out in my makeup case, which is another plus.

Concealer: I wasn't too fussed with this product, it definitely felt and looked cakey under my eyes and brought my fine wrinkles and crows feet into stark relief - not ideal.

It did go on smoothly but seemed to almost dry into a powder which was not ideal under my eyes. I wouldn't buy this product again.

Overall I was so impressed with the primer and the foundation, my skin is smooth and appears radiant, the products are weightless and you don't even know you're wearing them, but they're good enough to even out my skin tone without a heavy look.

I'm happy to recommend these products and would definitely purchase them once my trial products run out.

I love Rimmel products so was excited to be part of this trial.  I got the foundation and concealer both in the shade ivory which was definitely a tad too dark. So be aware that shades run a bit darker.

The packaging is really attractive in orange and stands out. I love that the foundation has a pump but wish the primer had a flip top lid as I just find screw on lids fiddly.

I moisturised my face first then applied a small amount of the primer, it spreads really well and has a semi thick consistency. It is yellow in colour with a subtle, fresh scent. It made my skin feel smooth and not feel tacky at all. However it doesn't wow me as it doesn't seem to do anything amazing.

The concealer has a slanted applicator, I dabbed a small amount on my dark circles and any spots. It does not have great coverage and I didn't really see much brightening effect. I was also not wowed by this and could easily leave this out.

The foundation has a thick consistency, it spreads well and does not cake up at all. I use my fingers to apply then go over with my RT sponge, it blends super well. I get a lovely glowy finish but it leaves tiny sparkles all over my face which I hate! I would not wear this during the day as I don't want to have a glittery face. It would be better suited for night wear.

I found it settled in fine lines, especially my forehead. It had medium coverage which I do like in a foundation. I definitely prefer my usual perfect match and wouldn't recommend this as I feel there are much better foundations out there.

Unfortunately all 3 products were a bit of a miss for me. I'm not loving the radiance range at all.  Sorry Rimmel!

Thanks you so much Beauty review ive throughly enjoyed this review and for someone that had never tried Rimmel im definately converted. Each product works well together and looks nice and summery with the same packaging colours so in my opinion they've done that right. It smells fresh and clean and goes well on my skin. It lasts so as far as im concerned the name is correct! The primer is just delicious even on its own it gives your skin a shimmer and helps the foundation last just that bit longer and gives you a nice smooth base to work with. The concealer is perfect to touch up those bits that need a little more coverage and then the foundation gives just the right amount of coverage without feeling like you've painted your whole face.

To me its a winning combination. Hope its a great price :)
