Rimmel Lasting Radiance Base Regime Reviews

I was super excited to trial this range but it was a bit of a mixed bag. I used the primer, concealer and foundation but found the foundation did not suit me, the colour was ivory but very orangey on me. I found it also showed up my pores rather than reduced them. The concealer and primer, however, I found amazing! The concealer matched my skin and actually covered my lines and dark circles and the primer gave my skin a lovely, natural glow. As a full regime, I wouldn't use it but I would use the concealer and primer together for a nice, understated look.

These products were good, made my skin radiant as it said on the packaging as it had glitter through it to really highlight my skin and make it glow. The primer was great, can be used on it's own or under foundation and felt really light on my skin. The foundation has spf25 which I thought was awesome but the colour was too orange for my liking. The coverage was great though and it stayed on all day. The concealer was great, easy to apply with an applicator wand and really made my under eye area bright. Overall, I did like these products, I loved how they highlighted my skin and the coverage. I'm going to purchase a different shade of foundation and try again to see how I go. Overall this is a really nice range from Rimmel. I used to use Rimmel all the time in the UK when I was younger, then I sort of moved away from it in favour of more expensive brands.

The concealer: I found this slightly yellow, but under foundation it left my sallow areas radiant and even. I wouldn't use this over foundation.

The foundation: I chose the lightest shade for my super pale skin - it was a great match and I think it warmed my skin tone up a little which is nice. This leaves a radiant, glow finish - if you prefer a flat / matte foundation, this is not the one for you.

Primer: Fantastic! Creates the most perfect smooth base.

My advice? At least try the foundation and primer, if you love the glow finish!

The primer is my favourite from this range - It works well by itself to give your face a 'my skin but better' look. Dewy, healthy, radiant. It provides a smooth base for make up, I found foundation lasted much longer with this underneath.

I enjoyed using the concealer - I found it particularly effective on my under eye area, where I'm both dark and yellow.

The foundation ticks so many boxes, it glows. It's has a lovely dewy finish. Its a light formula that's also very buildable and great price. However with just 6 shades in the range its far from inclusive.

I probably would buy each of these again, particularly as its so easy to pick up Rimmel in store, and the price points of each product are so low, given the quality and results!

The entire collection is lovely.

It says what it will do on the bottle which is give you a radient finish.

But sadly I am not the biggest fan.

The primer has very chunky glitter pieces and runs quite yellow. This would actually work great as a highlighter however and I may try it for this shortly.

The foundation does stay all day and I can attest to that. Needed a good oil cleanser for remover. Its very glowy but it can make your skin look oily. I applied this a number of ways too - with a brush and beauty blender. Both worked well.

The concealer. Is actually the best out of the bunch. It is very hydrating under the eyes - minimal creasing BUT it wasn't until I was removing it (I tested it with another foundation to see if it would also work well) that I noticed that it was very very glittery. Not great.

Overall? Its a good inexpensive regieme and if you want a glowy look this will do this for you.

Thanks you so much Beauty review ive throughly enjoyed this review and for someone that had never tried Rimmel im definately converted. Each product works well together and looks nice and summery with the same packaging colours so in my opinion they've done that right. It smells fresh and clean and goes well on my skin. It lasts so as far as im concerned the name is correct! The primer is just delicious even on its own it gives your skin a shimmer and helps the foundation last just that bit longer and gives you a nice smooth base to work with. The concealer is perfect to touch up those bits that need a little more coverage and then the foundation gives just the right amount of coverage without feeling like you've painted your whole face.

To me its a winning combination. Hope its a great price :)

I have been using the Rimmel primer, concealer and foundation together.

I was initially concerned that I would end up with a caked face, but was pleasantly surprised with the results. All the products worked well together and blended very nicely.

I gave each product time to dry a bit before applying the next layer - which worked well for me.

I didn’t always use all three products together - they also worked well independently.

I felt the products were pretty much intact at the end of the day.

So I'm super in love with the 3 items in the Rimmel London set for this trial, and am super excited that they are available an at a cost that this solo mama can afford. These will be my treats when I need to top up what I have left, they work so effortlessly together an last all day long, even in the kitchen at tech where other foundations have sweated off in the past. Now I dont have to feel super self conscious about my skin an the marks, I have already told so many friends and family members about these 3 items. Now they have seen me wearing them with a new found confidence, I've got a few of them heading out there to buy them. I'm so thankful that I was able to trial the primer, concealer and the foundation by Rimmel London.

I have very dry skin in the winter so finding things that will work for me can be sometimes hard work but i was very lucky that BR has given me the chance to review these.

Primer - I liked this as a highlighter more then a primer. I wouldn't buy again but i am going to keep trying to see if my opinion changes.

Concealer - I really like this concealer! its got a good brush and doesn't get to cakey on my face.

Foundation - I liked the foundation the most out of all three! its dewy and makes your skin look great! also amazing for people with dry skin

Overall I liked the foundation and concealer the most. I would buy these once they have run out. I wouldn't however buy the primer. Have already recommended to friends.

Firstly I would definitely recommend giving this a try. The primer goes on smooth and I found hydrating. The concealer is full coverage so perfect for covering blemishes and the foundation leaves your skin looking fresh, awake and dewy. The collection wore really well throughout the day. All of the items were easy to apply and blend. If you like a dewy, glowy look this is perfect for you.
