Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer Review

This is a fantastic primer, I use it mostly around my eyes to help stop my eye shadow creasing throughout the day. It has a fantastic pump which helps to use as little as possible (a big bottle so it lasts ages!) it goes on smooth and lasts all day. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth and I would definitely recommend it to a friend as a go to primer!

My go to primer! It goes on smoothly and minimizes pores. It leaves a very smooth base for applying foundation and concealer. Sometimes I apply just primer and concealer, as I feel it looks really nice by itself! It is quite a big bottle, and will last for ages as you don't need to use a lot.

This product is something I was thinking about buying for a long time before I actually brought it, and I wish I had read the reviews for it before I purchased it. The packaging of this product is effective, with a pump dispersing a small amount of product, which is easy to use, and economical, which I love because I hate to waste products. The product itself is a light and smooth consistency, and goes on my face smoothly. I use this primer when my skin is breaking out, and use it to smooth my skin out before applying foundation, and this primer (although it makes my skin feel smooth), does not actually provide a surface that Is smooth enough for makeup to go onto and I have other primers that do a better job of providing a smooth canvas for foundation.

This is a really light product, which is an aspect I love about this primer, as I really love natural looks, and appreciate when my skin is able to breathe! I did not find that this reduced the appearance of fine lines, or pores, and I even tried using more product, but this did not seem to help at all. I can sometimes use primers just as a base, to even out skin tone and this was not a primer that I could do this with as I did not find it that effective for this either! Im not convinced with this product, so I won’t be buying it again!

Before using this product I had never used a primer before and I just used my day cream however I found my make up just wasn't lasting out the day. I really like this primer - a little goes a long way, However I don't think it quite acts like a primer should, I have quite sensitive skin and as soon as it touches my face I go red ( like I usually do with anything ) and my face does not appear any different HOWEVER in saying that it does make my make up last all day. It is nice and easy to apply and is a white velvet cream the texture. It is great for keeping my make up on but my face does not appear / feel any different "pre make up" certainly not worth the $38 I paid for it :(

I like this primer. My foundation goes on smoothly and evenly. However, there is one big problem...the bottle!! I have used just over half the bottle and can no longer pump any product out. I have had to crack the top off. Because of this I will not buy this primer again.

I love this primer. my foundation went on smoothly and it was not sticky, just blended in well. It did dry up in the container after a day so when I went to use it the next day, there was a little lump of dry product in the pump, no biggiie really. I have repurchased this product and will continue to do so in the future.

I was quite happy with the results of the primer. My foundation went on very well. It went on flawlessly. i would definitely recommend as a first primer. I find though it is hard to use all the product. I will have to break the top to get the rest of the product out!!!

Love love love this product it's great and it makes my foundation go on smoothly and flawless but the only down side of this product is when you get to about a third of the bottle left the pump doesn't pump out I've had this primer 3 times and have had to break the top off to get to the rest of the primer out :/

This is the first primer I have used so not really sure what to expect. There was no packaging to speak of, just wrapped in plastic but the bottle is a nice shape and size and the pump is really handy. I like the feel of this on my skin and there is a nice subtle scent, and my foundation seems to stay in place, however my eyeshadow still creases. I haven't noticed any pore reduction or reduction in appearance of lines either.

I've found this to be a pretty stock standard primer. It doesn't do anything AMAZING, but it definitely smooths my skin to create a nice canvas for foundation. I like that it isn't shimmery like other primers so it's great for every day makeup
