Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer Review

I was a primer virgin before trying this product so I have nothing to compare it to however I dont feel i need to I love this product, It comes in an easy to pump bottle which i manage to only dispense enough product to use no wastage, it feels velvety on the skin and provides a smooth base to put my foundation on top I find i use less foundation when i use primer also It hasnt got a nasty smell, and feels very light weight when it has set on The price was affordable as it has lasted forever and i still have a tonne left! Definitely an important staple and something I will repurchase Maybelline you have done it again

Ths is my favourite primer! It feels amazing when applied and makes your makeup last so much longer than any other primer I have ever used. It comes in very cute packaging and lasts quite a long time. I wear makeup 4-5 days out of a week and it has lasted me since October-ish. The only downside that I have found with this is that it is quite expensivee compared to other primers. I just suggest that whenyou see it on sale, stock up while you can because it is an amazing product!

This was the first primer I have ever purchased. It applies really easily and would be fantastic in winter when skin tends to dry out. It did help my foundation blend, as well as helping it last longer on my sometimes oily skin. It is not exactly cheap, (although of course there are more expensive primers on the market) but in retrospect is the best cream based primer I have used. This lasted me about six months, and I always had compliments on how nice my skin looked when I used it. Will repurchase in winter and apply to the drier parts of my face as a silicone based primer is better for my large pores.

Being ‘photo ready’ to me means having lovely glowing smooth skin and this just didn’t do it.

After apply the Revlon primer I didn’t notice any change in redness or skin tone. It does what a basic primer would and help keep makeup in place for longer but there are better ones out there that can help with a lovely starting base for your makeup.

It was a one off purchase for me because of price but I do regret it now I have further understanding of what else there is to offer.

It doesn’t stand out amongst the wide range available.

I have never really been a primer person but after this.. This product is amazing! A slightly pink formula that's the consistancy of a regular foundation. I actually quite like the packaging, clear bottle with a pump and large black lid ( prevents the pump from being pushed when travelling) this primer does everything it says it does! Smoothes the skin amazingly! Minimises bumps and pores and slightly corrects skin tone. There is no really stong smell that I can tell. A small pump definitley does go a long way, it's easy to glide on and spread, makes putting your foundation on so much easier! Especially the blending. It definitley does make the staying power a lot longer without budge! A down side is that it didn't really like my dry skin, I moisturised well and it still brought up my dry patches. The product is light and doesn't feel as if you have something heavy, thick, sticky etc on your face. Love it! Makes my fAce feel so velvety :)

I purchased it long time ago and some how i forgot using it. It wasnt impress me at first maybe thats why i forget about it. So happy i like it now and found that its one of the most important thing in my make up bag. Let me tell you why: _ The consistency is lovely, soft, moist, easy to blend, it has alcohol smell but it will fade. _ It blurs light imperfection like you wear a veil. _ Control oil pretty well, no shiny for longer time (4hours on my Tzone, other area is oilfree for all day). _ Fill in pores, gaps, wrinkles.

I currently use it alone with concealer, thats it, no foundation, no powder. And i love that natural finish just like baby skin.

I got given this for christmas and it was the first primer I had ever used. It went on smooth and made a great base for my foundation as I had quite uneven skin. I don't think it prolonged the wear of my foundation or minimized the appearance of my pores which is what I really wanted it for. You really don't need too much to cover your whole face, I really liked that it had a pump as one pump was enough and it wasn't a guessing game about how much I needed. The thing I didn't like about it was that the primer dried up in the pump really quickly which caused the primer to squirt out everywhere

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! It smooths out any lines on ones face and helps foundation last longer too. The texture of this product is similar to benefits pore-fessional - I would even go as far as to say that it is a dupe. Great price for the size and quality of this product.

This is the third primer I have tried and I will definitely be buying it again. I have super oily skin and this product has really helped with keeping the shine away. My face still gets a bit shiny by the afternoon and I still touch up with powder. I have wasted my money on other expensive primers, which by lunch time feel like my make up is going to slide off my face. Its not a heavy product and feels lovely to apply to the face. The downside is the packaging which I see a lot of people are not happy with, the pump must not be long enough and when you get to a certain point in the bottle it no longer works.

I really enjoy this primer. This is the first one I ever purchased and found it works well at making my make up last.

Only negative I have is that the packaging is horrid, my lid would never stay on (which is a minor) but now that I have gotten down to under half left the pump seems to not be able to reach? Which is frustrating! Although I have had it for a while and the product has lasted ages! I probably wont repurchase because of the packaging.
