Australis Eye Shadow Primer

I wanted to love this eye shadow primer as a friend recommended it and raved about it however I did not love this primer and I tried many times to get it to work for me. It didn't make my eyeshadow last any longer than if I didn't use it and it had hardly any product in it, by about the 5th use I noticed it was already getting hard to get out of the bottle. It also made my eyeshadow crease which I've never had a problem with before. I even tried to apply my eyeshadow in a pressing/patting motion rather than sweeping it on but found I got a lot of fall out and it wouldn't blend nicely. Overall I would not recommend this primer and wouldn't use it again

I've been wanting this for a while and when I saw it on special at makeup.Co.nz I snapped it up quick smart. packaging : A fluro mettalic, pink fuchsia tube with a black lid that is a doe foot applicator. Contents: white watery fluid, is thin re watery. Is quite hard to dispense no matter how much I try to pump just a small amount comes out on the applicator. The amount that is on there is watery which is surprising that it doesn't dispense easier. Effects: The primer smooths onto the lids and is sheer not at all opaque it's white but dries out clear. It's a bit worrying being watery that it may not have any adherence but it dries out matte like. However I found it really takes a while for it to dry which is ok but very different in comparison to other eyeshadow primers, which I've used. I didn't see any cons for the use whilst on the skin it did keep the shadow to stay on without creasing. However I did prefer to have more product to come out & for it to be opaque aswell as less dry time. For this reason I don't think the product is worth repeating a purchase there was just not enough of it being dispensed, it was so fiddley & just didn't give me what I was after. I did have high hopes for this product alas it didn't meet them. Nobody wants extra time added into their daily makeup routine & I found this product did this. It was a case of I got what I paid for.

I bought this years ago when i saw Chloe Morello rave about it, bought and when i opened it i was straight away dissapointed, there was hardly any product in there, felt like i was robbed of product and, quite handy having the applicator but so hard to get any product out of the tube. I used it for months and every time it would crease so bad. Kept it for times in need but ended up throwing it away as never reached for it, and it wasn't that cheap for what you got

Australis is one of those brands that no matter whether in farmer or a pharmacy you always look to see what new products they have. I found this little gem and had only used one other brand eye shadow primer before so thought why not.

I love the packaging, bright pink, I cant loose it in all my clutter of makeup, really simple bright not alot of information on it so I kind of just "winged it". It had a lip gloss wand type applicator which is fine and I suppose easy to use on the eyelids.

Product is kind of a white cream consistency which is fine I just found that some areas went on thicker than others but I think in the end it all dried the same way, I liked that it being kind of creamy and like say a gel or something i could see where I missed.

After waiting for the product to dry before applying my eyeshadow, I found that it did really help my eyeshadow look brighter and more pigmented, not sure whether it was the eyeshadow or the primer but some I did find hard to blend after applying but that could have been what eyeshadow I was using on the day. It was great that my eyeshadow did not crease, it didn't come off and it lasted all day so that is something I am totally inlove with.

Overall Very happy with this product and especially with the price I will happily buy again and I will recommend it to others to try.

I use this product underneath my eyeshadow and at first I was skeptical - just another ploy to add another product to my routine. But it does work! My eyeshadow always creased and merged into one line in my crease - since using this product that does not happen anymore. My eyeshadow stays as perfect as when I first put it on. I highly recommend this product as an essential part of your makeup routine

i tried this product and wasnt very impressed i get oily eyelids and when i used this product my eyelids only seemed to get oilier i also noticed that my eyeliner and mascara were smudging very easily and would end up on my eyelids. overall really didnt like the product and would not re purchase

I didn't use eye shadow primer until I got a sample in my Naked palette. Then I couldn't live without eye primer and havnt since. I actually won this the first time I used it and have repurchased since. If you have super oily eyelids it might not work all day but it works well with my kind of oily eye lids. I also have sensitive eyes and this has never upset them.

Like the title its an okay eye shadow primer. I bought it on a whim as I kept on hearing a lot about eyeshadow primers. The formula is a bit oily for my already oily lids! But otherwise makes the eye-shadows last somewhat longer than it would without primer. But nothing to get excited about. I am wearing it to use it up as I hate wasting products. Wont be repurchasing.

To be honest I only brought this product for a fancy dress I was going too and needed my eye shadow to stay on for a long period of time. This product isnt anything to rave about.
