This is translucent not a strong nasty white casting like others can be and i did get nice selfiies. This took away shine and set consealer and bb cream decently oil and fragrance free but i think it has talc in it which even though is a mineral can clogg pores the powder was fairly fine not chunky or all chalk like. Not sure about the luminous claim though it seemed quite matte to me eventually though you could get shiny and need to reapply or end up looking patchy. Not a bad product though. Safe for photos eg no white cast. Had a mirror in the compact too.

This translucent powder just isn't for me. I have used it to set my whole face and my under eye area and while it does set my makeup it has glitter in it that is really obvious and it doesn't looks very nice on the skin. I found that my skin didn't stay matte during the day while using this powder. It might work out better for someone with drier skin than mine
I got this on sale for around $5 in Australia and i wish i had of gotten more! This is a really good drugstore product. I use it to set my whole face and it never did that cakey look even at the end of the day.
Tips: Wait a few minutes after applying foundation and use a really good brush.
I use this pretty much every time I wear makeup. I use it to set my eye area and lipstick and it works a charm. I have naturally very oily eyelids and applying a bit of this makes them stay matte all day. I also apply this around my nose area too if I feel I'm going to get a little bit oily during the day, and it helps prevent me from getting too shiny.
I also use this over my lipstick to improve longevity and it works great - just split a tissue in half, apply it over my lips and then brush the powder over it before applying a second coat of lipstick and my lipstick stays throughout the day.
I would say to try and be a bit stingy with how much you apply on your face - it does have small sparkles in it so going too crazy will make your face look like a disco ball. Too much product can also make your eyes look a little bit cakey and dry too so don't go overboard with how much you apply.
Brought this as a bit of a test to see how well it works/does it make a difference. It was quite pricey however its the type of product that lasts a long time.
It's a product I use during the day, I put on all my makeup, foundation and blush, etc and then put this over top, I love using it for a day look as it slightly mutes/smoothes your makeup so blush and contouring isnt so strong.
If you use to much product you can be left with a cakey dry look so only a light covering is needed. In terms of setting your makeup on your face I would give this product a 8/10. It does pretty well.
Tips: I also use as a highlighter just under my eyebrows.
The formula is so easy to apply, it keeps foundation in place, makes it last longer and gives you face such a flawless looks however using too much of this product it becomes very powdery and i wish it didn't have the shimmer, it ruins the lightweight texture .
I like this product for its oil control abilities, its fairly cheap and a reliable every day powder. While, as other reviewers have noted, that you need to be careful not to over apply as it can leave a powdery finish this is still somewhat useful to catch eye makeup fallout.
I have used this product for quite a while now, but i find it a bit too powdery on the skin, it doesn't blend very well into foundation. This product is good if you use it on casual days but for special occasions i would suggest something with a better finish.
Tips: When using this product make sure you don't apply too much, as the less you apply and take time to blend in the better the finish comes out
I used this with the photoready foundation, and it sets nice, just have to be careful not to apply too much since it becomes powdery and a little shimmery. It's a good product since it helps my foundation sets for a longer time and it looks nice on photos.
I love the other photo ready powders but for some reason the translucent one looked terrible. It went on looking white and sparkly and made my skin look whiter then normal, maybe mine was faulty but it was a strange powder. I never use translucent powders, so I thought translucent meant see through and it would take off the shine. I don't know what was wrong with the formula?!? I love the photo ready foundation and other powders just not this one.
