I was in despreate need of an all over powder for my face and with limited funds at the time I picked this up at my local warehouse.
The La Colors range is an affordable makeup range, everything being $5 only. I was lucky and picked this up for $3.10 on special :)
The price really was the only thing it had going for it. I Used my blush brush for this product to apply it all over my face to mattify it. Sadly once I brushed my brush into the product it straight away came off chalky and didn't stick to the brush very well.
It covered my face well but it gave my face the cakey look and you coud really see the chalkyness of the powder.
I used this twice in hopes that maybe the second time round it may of been different but it was much the same.
I went to throw it away but actually dropped it the second time i used it and it smashed into pieces all over the bathroom floor.
I personally will not re purchase this product. maybe good for kids as play makeup?
I was a bit skeptical to try the LA Colors Pressed Powder since the price was so ridiculously low! But I figured I might as well buy it and give it a go to see. What an amazing surprise! This is a gorgeous powder which is perfect for pale skin and also for setting foundation. I have been using this every morning when doing my makeup and to be honest have found it works just as well as my more expensive ($25+) powders. It sets foundation well, looks nice and matte on the skin, lasts all day. What more could you want? I'm also pretty sure that this company does not test on animals - yippee!
Tips: Apply using a big, fluffy brush to set foundation.
