I picked this up at my local Warehouse when they had a cosmetic sale and couldn't walk past the bargain of $3. I'd never heard of L.A colors before so was keen to give it a try :)
I got the colour Nude as it was the closest colour to my current foundation I was using at the time, I like to set my foundation with a brush over of pressed powder.
On opening the compact I noticed a tiny wee mirror in the lid which wasn't glued down all to well and you really couldn't see or do much with it to be honest so not so great if you had popped in in your handbag to use while you were out later, it could benefit from maybe making the whole compact black instead of having the see through window to see the powder and use the whole lid as a mirror :)
The powder itself looked fine but once I started brushing my powder brush across it, it became quite dusty. On applying to my skin it went on quite chalky and left my face feeling dusty rather than light and after I had finished the all over application I didn't feel my face could 'breathe'. The colour itself was a great match for my skin but I didn't like how the powder sat on my face, chalky and dusty it defiantly was.
For $3 I'm not overaly surprised by the outcome it had on my skin, but you never know till you try right!
Ah, I was desperate and on a student budget and needed some pressed powder in my life so I invested in some of this stuff from the Warehouse.
It looked simple, easy and compact. So I thought that will do!
I got home and used my OWN foundation sponge to apply it on my face...
I felt like I was digging into a compact of chalk dust to be honest and it looked absolutely terrible on my face.
The outcome looked like someone had wiped pollen over my cheeks and it didn't blend well and it was a pasty white colour.
Needless to say it got wiped off and I still got pimples from that little encounter with it.
So not again, Nope. Not this one sorry.
