Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Nude Review

I ordered this product from the rewards vault after reading reviews - they werent fabulous reviews however my skin tone leans towards yellow/orange so thought it could possibly work. And it does - its PERFECT. I dont know if theres any other orange godesses out there but if there is you will know the struggle is real! I’ve never tried any of the BB or CC creams so was stoked to try and use this product to see what the fuss is about. It doesnt provide a huge amount of coverage but its a nice alternative for around home or even under foundation. I love the smell of it, easy to apply and super lightweight wear. I wouldnt recommend to anyone with pink toned skin.

I used to love Garnier BB creams particularly in the warmer months, when heavy foundations feel yuck on my skin and those days when I just wanted a little “glow” instead of a full face.

Firstly what is this sorcery?! It comes out white (looks like a moisturiser) then as you apply it to your skin and it warms up, it changes colour to match your skin tone. It’s magic!!

The cream itself is quite thick and feels nice when blending it in. I did just use my fingers to blend it in which I found easy. I just used this straight on my skin (no serum, no moisturiser under it)

The cream I find is quite perfumed for me but it does settle down after an hour. I think I might be a bit sensitive to scents but it is nice, it’s fresh and almost slightly floral.

I have dry skin that has a few lines and crinkles, so I need something moisturising for my skin that doesn’t settle in said crinkles. I love how this BB cream is moisturising and doesn’t settle in lines it just gives me a nice even skin tone. I have a few red patches on my cheeks and this covers them beautifully.

This lasted around 7 hours before it looked like it had “done its dash” i love how this is super easy to remove. I hate removing makeup it always seems such an effort but this comes off with just a cleanser.. winning!

I love the packaging, a nice easy squeeze tube that sits on its lid, perfect for getting all product out and plastic is great being able to take it anywhere without the fear of it breaking or leaking. I LOVE this has SPF15 I wish more foundations and moisturisers had SPF.

Overall a Fantastic BB cream and I will repurchase when this runs out. It’s perfect for summer!

I actually like me a BB cream, but I haven’t used one in a while and it was good to be reminded of how versatile they are.

This one was a bit of a surprise as it comes out of the tube white (yes WHITE) and then it adapts to your skin colour, which is unlike the majority of the ones i’ve used which have been tinted.

I must say I really really liked it. It had the effect of blending out my skin tone and making it look really natural and ‘un-made up’ which is what I really liked.

I wore it to the gym and it held up well, no patches or running even when I was sweating.

I did a bit of an experiment of using this underneath my foundation, and what do you know? It was a great addition.

To me this is a really versatile product, you don’t need to pay much attention to the application, put it on with a brush, sponge or blender and or use it as a primer.

I will for sure be making it a staple in my make up kit from now on.

I’ve used Garnier’s BB Cream in the past and been really happy but I actually prefer this new formulation. I’m sitting here with the old blend on one side of my face & the new one on the other to make a comparison. The product I’m reviewing has more coverage, is more satiny in appearance and is thicker when applied. I am fascinated that a white cream can turn into a tone which is such a great match for my skin, especially since I have areas of pigmentation. The fragrance is light, the coverage is good considering it is just a BB Cream not a foundation though when I tried applying a second layer it got a bit streaky & weird but evened out with a little rubbing. I love that it has a sunscreen but since it’s been raining here I can’t rate it’s effectiveness on that level. Generally I prefer a more natural daytime look so this is absolutely perfect. The packaging is compact enough to pop in my handbag, the moisturising element makes it ideal to put on after swimming so I don’t need to cart an extra bottle with me & best of all, no skin reaction. I’m going to enjoy using Garniers Skin Perfector BB Cream Nude this summer. Compared to other BB Creams containing sunscreen & mineral pigments this is good value for money.

I am pretty much a diehard BB Cream user because it's quick and easy and I go for the minimal look (mainly because I have't found my perfect foundation yet). I'm getting older now though and BB Cream just isn't cutting it sadly. I've tried pretty much all the BB Creams so I wasn't really expecting anything different. Boy, was I wrong. First of all, I squeezed a bit out and it was white, like normal face cream, put it on my face and it felt like moisturiser. Then I started to blend it and something magical happened! It seemed to blend and change into my skin tone. Immediately my face had a nice glow, it felt lovely and moisturised and it didn't even look like I had anything on. My skin was instantly perfect and it just looked natural. Huge win for a 30 something with aging skin. There was no orangey looking line around my face where I hadn't blended it properly either. I couldn't believe how forgiving the stuff is. So, yes, I'll be buying this miracle cream again, I love it, it saves time, it magically matches my skin tone and makes me look healthy! Not bad for a cream you can buy at the supermarket (for an incredibly good price too).

I have older mature skin and was eager to see how Granier BB Nude Effect would look on me. It was novel seeing the cream which was white when I put it on transform to blend and match my skin tone. Overall I found it blended well, provided a natural coverage and more importantly to me it was light and I didn't feel like I was wearing makeup. I was impressed with how well it stayed on during some pretty hot and humid days.

It was easy to apply and the tube has a good solid cap meaning it won't leak in your make up bag. A good size too I thought. I'm sure it will last a while even with daily use.

A little went a long way and you can choose to use more or less to get the cover you want.

The slight fragrance was to me fresh and pleasant.

I didn't so much notice any glow but was happy to have a more even skin tone. Although it is known for its hydrating properties, I still moisturised first and I know it has an SPF of 15 but I would like to have seen it higher, again my moisturiser provided more SPF and I was also using that.

In summary I was happy with the product - it did what is said it would and I was impressed with the universal shade on my olive skin. I would recommend it and I would use it again, especially in summer given how well it lasted and stayed looking great in the heat.

I received this product to trial recently and have to say the humid weather hasn't been kind for trialing a product of this nature.

It comes in a nice little squeezy tube and is beautifully fragranced. I think it's the apricot oil it contains.

The product itself is white but the second you apply it to your skin it transforms to a coloured BB cream. The colour wasn't a bad match, a wee bit on the orange side but it sheers out to close to invisible. I found it didn't sit all that well around the hairline and eyebrows if you don't blend it in well.

I could see a slight difference in the look of my skin immediately after application, however, it was very short lived and 2 hours later my skin was back to normal, it felt like the product has completely dissolved into my skin and disappeared. For me and my skin that's not something that works as I have quite red skin.

We've suffered from extreme humidity up here in Northland of late and I suspect that has a lot to do with the problems I had, however, it's not something I would repurchase due to this.

If this was a dedicated moisturiser with no tint to it I would try it again as my skin felt nice after use.

I like to wear a little something-something on my skin if I'm leaving the house on non-makeup days, I usually go for a tinted moisturiser.

I found this BB cream a bit of a revelation! It is so light and feels like an invisible veil on the face. It definitely feels more like a lotion than a bb cream or coverage product.

It evens out blemishes and definitely smooths my skin. It adds a bit of colour, without being heavy. And it neutralises red skin amazinngly!

Really recommend.

This is such a fun product, it comes out white and adjusts to my skin tone perfectly. It blends in very easily with my fingertips and isn’t heavy, it just feels like I’m wearing moisturiser. The one thing I did notice with application as it can go a little patchy depending on what moisturiser I have underneath so I would suggest either wearing it alone or apply after moisturiser has been completely absorbed.

I like the finish it gives, a very soft blurring effect which will be amazing over the warmer months when it’s just way to hot for a full face of foundation (With the added bonus of spf15 protection!!!!) It has a nice soft scent also, which I haven’t found irritating to my sensitive skin. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of is the tacky sticker that is on the front of the tube that has the English translation , it just makes it look really cheap. Apart from that minor thing it’s a very nice product.

I have never tried this cream before so was quite unsure how it would work on my skin. When the cream comes out it shows a white texture and you think to yourself how does this match your skin tone. To my surprise, it actually did. I tried different ways of applying this to my skin. First was direct to my face then the other way i tried was placing it on the outside of my hand and mixing this before applying to my face. I found applying the cream directly to your face was the best way in my opinion. You place this on areas you want to cover and then rub the cream in. I found it very easy to apply. It was not heavy and thick on your skin like some brands can be. It actually made my skin feel a bit refreshed. I found it lasted on my face all day long which was great. It looked natural and didnt look like I had piles of make up on. I found this to be a great product.
