Revlon Colourstay is a very thick foundation with very full coverage. I have very oily skin and, as a result, I find that it won't quite last a whole day. However, it is still the longest lasting foundation I have come across. I would consider the price point in New Zealand to be much too high for a chemist/drugstore/high street brand, and would only purchase it on sale. I am glad that a pump has been added - this has improved the score.

Long lasting
Tips: IDEAL for mixing with other foundations/BB creams/tinted moisturisers to increase coverage. (Olay Touch of Foundation is good for this.)

Revlon Colourstay
Full coverage, didn't react with my sensitive skin, nice scent, long lasting. Only downside was it was streaky if you applied it with a brush so I'd have to buff it in well and use a lot of product to achieve the coverage I wanted. But it applies well with a beauty blender but still needs lots of blending, so it's time consuming to use.
Tips: Use this foundation for full coverage but not if you're in a rush as it's time consuming to apply and takes a lot of blending and buffing in!!

Colour stay
I am in LOVE with this foundation. I have had a lot of trouble with foundations becoming separated and sliding off but I decided to give Revlon ColourStay a try. It is so light but it has the full coverage I have been craving. It lets my skin breathe and it has the best staying power of all foundations I have tried. It also photographs beautifully.
Tips: As this foundation has amazing staying power, you will need to cleanse your face twice to remove it

Easy and long lasting!
I have been using this for years and really like it. It gives me good coverage, lasts all day and is super easy to apply quickly! I got colour matched by a beauty consultant. I also use slightly different colours in winter and summer sometimes having to blend a couple to get the right colour.
Tips: Spend the money and buy from the pharmacy etc as the ones online although heaps cheaper seem to be odd colours!

It is really full coverage. I don't use it often because I prefer a more natural medium coverage so I only tend to use this if I'm going out clubbing or if I'm having a bad skin day (acne) If you like full coverage foundations you should like this one :)

This is my go-to foundation that i use on a daily basis, keeps my skin matte and even. My skin looked less shiny wearing this foundation
Tips: It can get a little flaky if your skin has some dry patches so make sure you have a good cleanse first

I have used this product for at least 10 years. I am still impressed by the finish and how long lasting it is. I have often tried other products but have never been happy so have returned to the Revlon colour stay. Recently I did try max factor lasting performance and really liked it. It lasted well and was slightly lighter that the Revlon brand. I now use Max and my day product and Revlon colour stay when I want a more intense coverage. I think as you age the lighter product can sometime look better and not accentuate the wrinkles as much.
Tips: Put on right after you moisturiser it seems to blend better.

Decent Drugstore Foundation
This is my current foundation at the moment. It was easy to get and this is usually my go to foundation if my high end ones are finished. It does give you great coverage - and you can build it up depending how much coverage you are wanting. It does last a good 12 hours for me.
Tips: Use primer - and use a loose translucent powder to set. May need to touch up on powder during the day as if you leave foundation on too long it can become oily and have a shiny face but if your all for that look than its fine! Also start out with a little foundation and than add later as you can get caked face if you have alot of product on at first.

My Holy Grail Foundation
This is my go to foundation. It creates a lovely, buildable finish. It lasts all day and I don't have any issues with breaking out using it.
Tips: I recommend using a primer beforehand if you have freckles that you want to cover. I can't get them fully covered using the foundation itself.

I love this as my go to drugstore foundation, the product is quite pricy considering it is not a high end product but the formula on this feels incredible on my skin, I love the coverage it gives, completely hides my freckles and imperfections. it's very thick but doesn't feel exactly heavy on my skin as some runny foundations do, I don't like the fact that this formula doesn't have a pump but I can handle it for the product that this is.
