Does it all

This is a great product - and I truly believe that, because I repurchased when I NEVER repurchase products!!

I used the medium, which did a great job of covering my skin imperfections. It stayed put all day and didn't cause any issues for my sensitive, combination skin. As a bonus, it has SPF. This so important in our NZ sun!

In winter I did find it was a bit dark and heavy for my pale skin, but then I bought their BB Blending Brush. This gave me an amazingly light, natural coverage, far superior to what I was achieving with my fingers! As a bonus, the brush has actually made it even faster for me to apply.

My only issues with this is the price - $50 is more than I would usually pay for a 50ml product. However, it's an NZ-made product made with safe ingredients that are gentle on my skin, it covers my blemishes and protects me from the sun. For all that, I'm willing to pay the price!

Tips: Treat yourself to a BB Blending Brush. You will not regret it!

Oasis

This bb cream has great coverage. I find it quite Matt and lasts all day. It dosnt go shiny like a lot of other bb creams do. It's great that it's an all natural product and you can get samples before you purchase a full size item.

Great NZ product

I purchased my BB Cream when they were having a special and changing the label so i got it for about $39 instead of the full price. Which i think is a little too high. It comes in a easy to use pump tube and is a good sized product - 50ml I have the Bardot which is the light, mid coverage. I actually really like it, it has a nice creamy consistency and goes on your skin well, i do layer a bit more on when I'm using it before a day at work but if its a day off i just put a little on and its great. It last all day and pretty much sinks into your skin straight away. I use my fingers to apply it and it washes off them easy as. If its a work day i usually apply foundation over top of the bb cream and away i go but i did try a couple of days with just a mineral powder over top of the bb cream and it works just as well. If not a bit better as it feels nice and light on your skin. I love the fact its produced in NZ and is cruelty free and Oasis is a small company - if they keep producing great products like this they won't be small for long!

Tips: Grab it on a special which they do every so often as $49.90 is a bit high for a bb cream in my opinion but they do provide free samples with other purchases which is so cool :)

Great BB from a great local company

After trying a generous sample from Oasis, I bought a full size tube of this. It is slightly more affordable than my favorite Mac BB which I refuse to pay NZ retail for! I bought it directly from Oasis. It was quickly shipped in cute packaging that included samples and chocolates - there's nothing more that I could want!

I got the repacked medium BB (formally Bardot) and would have preferred a pump. The tube often spurts out too much but at least you can get all the product out when it is nearing the end.

Medium is the perfect shade for my skin and blends in straight away. The cream is quite thick and it does have a strange, not quite gritty texture when it is first applied. This disappears as as it is applied to the skin - maybe it is the shea butter melting into it? I like to apply BB with just my fingers and this one is easy to do so. The cream feels a little greasy and leaves the skin very shiny when first applied. It quickly dries down to a matt finish. It is still a very natural 'my skin but better' finish. I usually apply a quick dusting of powder over it to set it.

I usually wear this over Oasis Apple A Day moisturiser, although the BB itself is moisturising enough on its own for most skins. I find by mid afternoon my skin can feel quite greasy wearing this, however it does not make it look greasy. It is easy to remove with a cleansing balm and a damp cloth.

I will definitely use this BB again as the tube lasted me for months and it's such a great match for my skin tone. I also like being able to support a small NZ business with such great ethics.

Spot on for my skintone

Found that this BB cream was spot on for their claims of offering a mid range coverage that was slighty matte when dried.

Monroe Suited my skin tone perfectly and managed to cover most of my uneven patches and imperfection pretty well for a natural day time look.

Wasn't heavy or sink into my pores causing any outbreaks. Removed simply with a cleanser and warm cloth at the end of the day, and lasted without becoming excessively oily from my combination skin.

Have repurchased many times and love having it as a staple in my kit, on those days when my skin is being a total pain then it works well as a primer type of product under heavier makeup for keeping my skin healthy whilst getting a fuller coverage.

Didn't live up to the hype

I purchased this bb cream after it was been raved about by several members on here. Although I like this bb cream, I found that it didn't meet my expectations of the hype of this product. The coverage of this bb cream is a light coverage, which is what you would expect of a bb cream. However, a lot of people mentioned that this bb cream gave medium to high coverage, so I expected it to give my face more coverage than it did. It evened out my skin tone more, but you could still see my acne scars and blemishes and redness on my cheeks.

I have this in the shade Bardot which is the lightest shade. It's a little too light for my light-medium skin tone but I can get away with it. This shade also has more of a pink undertone when my skin has a yellow undertone.

The texture of this bb cream is very thick. I use a brush to apply this bb cream as its a bit hard to apply evenly when using fingers. The thick consistency makes it hard to blend. It has a matte finish but doesn't completely dry on your skin, so I always set my with powder.

This bb cream comes in a sturdy plastic tube in a cylinder shape. It has a pump which makes it easy to dispense the cream.

This bb cream is quite pricey. I do like the fact that it's NZ made, but for the price I can get something better, so unfortunately I will not be repurchasing this.

BB beauty

I tried this BB cream recently after is came in the box as a sample with another Oasis product.

It comes in a wee white tube with cute pink writing, and an easy screw top.

The product is a moderately thick cream. My colour was medium and the product is for sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin, but it didn't irritate anything in any case. And I have quite fair skin so usually go for beige products, so surprisingly this product in a medium wasn't too dark for me. It also has an SPF which I really like.

I've been applying it after my CC cream and it gives a nice, even coverage. I'd decided to give up on BB creams and stick with tinted moisturiser after a bad experience with another brand, but this BB cream has changed my mind. I find it applies evenly with a beauty blender and lasts all day. I'm really impressed with it.

$50 for 50ml seems a bit pricey, but then again it is a very good product, so in my estimation it is worth it. I do recommend it.

Not sold on this one

I received a sample of this with the Oasis Moisturiser. Unfortunately I won't be purchasing the full size product. I just don't think the product was a good fit for my skin type and my face looked very dry and flaky at the end of the day with this BB cream. I found I looked worse than if I had nothing on. This is not something you want in a beauty product.... I'm not sure if it was the product itself or my skin, so I would test it before you purchase.

If you still have it, you could try a little coat of oil on your skin before applying it?

Ridiculous for the price

This product works well to improve your skin, but is not an overly effective concealer. Oasis BB Cream has a lovely smooth consistency and is easy to apply to your skin. It requires only a small amount to be appplied, and thus should last you a long time. It has worked well at improving my skin, although I experienced a minor break out as my skin adjusted to the product. My only criticism is that because it is so light and smooth, it does not work as an overly effective product for my sensitive skin so would rather not buy again

Medium/Munroe BB Cream

Recently I tried out the Medium (formally the Munroe) Bb cream.

It was easy to apply & I found I got the best coverage when I dabbed on with my fingers and the blended with a beauty blender, although I image a good foundation brush would also be effective. Coverage was good and the tone was easy to match my skin. I have oily/combination skin, and normally use a mineral foundation, this gave more coverage, however I also felt quite oily half way through the day. (I always use primer too). It was improved with a finishing powder, but not eradicated. I would use this when heading out at night.
