Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

This foundation is incredible! When I had acne this was the only one that would cover everything up while still looking amazing. It is a medium-consistency, buildable coverage foundation that stays put until you take it off. It will withstand sun, sweat and tears and still look flawless and natural. There is no need for touchups at all. It will last all day and all night if you want it to. The colour was perfect for me. With a lot of other brands of foundation I find the colours are either too pink or too yellow for me because my skin tone is classed as 'neutral' rather than warm or cool, but this came in my ideal shade. If you have oily skin in particular then this is the foundation for you because you won't end up shiny by the end of the day. It has a slightly matte finish. It is expensive but a little goes a long way and I think it's money very well spent.

BEST FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION I have ever come across!

Just to emphasise how incredible this foundation is - I will give you an example. 36 degree weather in Sydney + humidity + a party bus + a 14 hour day usually is not a good sign. BUT, praise Estee Lauder because they have made the most durable foundation in the world.

I prepped my face with my moisturiser and Mac stobe cream and then poured the tiniest amount of foundation onto my hand then stroked the foundation on my face and blended blended blended away with my beauty blender. Once I was done, my skin looked amazing and flawless (with only about a pea sized amount of foundation). As i used the Mac strobe cream as well, it gave the foundation a slight glow to it which you usually dont get when wearing the foundation alone, as it is quite matte.

Not only did it last 14+ hours in the Sydney heat, it felt comfortable, remained looking amazing and didn't budge after dancing for hours. I was so amazing by it!!

The product itself comes in a standard glass (i think) bottle with no pump so it must be purchased separately, but i use it without the pump. The texture of the product is thicker than most foundations and contains spf, but does not leave a ghostly cast in photography. It blends easily and it definitely buildable so you could use the tiniest amount for normal day wear as well

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good, high end and amazing quality product!!

Isnt it wonderful when you finally find what you have been looking for. I got a 7day free sample from the Estee Lauder counter a while ago and have never looked back. I use a primer first then this foundation goes on effortlessly. I use my fingers as I havent had any success with brushes but it still looks awesome. It gives great coverage and lasts all day. I dont finish work until 6.30pm and I am happy with the way it stays in place. I do have to do a good job at cleansing my face at night but thats a good thing. My perfect colour match is Pebble. I went to 2 different stores and they both picked the same colour for me.

I'm addicted to this foundation I'm a big fan of the full coverage makeup look without it over clogging into my skin too much ,you are also able to set with powder and bronze without it becoming to much, I feel this product dose me better justice then my MAC prolong wear, it is fast drying so a quick application is required with the double wear, If you have a big problem with freckles/pores like myself this is your best friend.

This product is High coverage and long lasting. I was astonished how it lasted through anything including sweat rain and wind and didn't budge at all (Even when i didn't wear primer!) But of course there are some minor downsides, if you have dry skin it will cling to that area and make it slightly more obvious. And also it smells like paint. But it is an amazing product, it does what it says it will and there is quite a good range of colour.

Ugh where do I even start!! This is the most amazing foundation I have ever used. The staying power is ammmmazing gives such a flawless look!!! And it lasts me ages as you don't need to apply much for full coverage! I recommend this to everyone! Only downside is trying to get it off!

I work in a hair salon and this has been the only foundation that has worked so well so far, it doesn't move at all, I can even shower and not get my face wet and it looks good still even from all of the humidity. It lasts about 6 months for a bottle for me using it everyday, it's great!

I currently have a tester of this foundation which I am defiantly going to buy! I like to use this makeup for going out at night as I know it will stay in and look great. I have a mildly oily face but with this product it doesn't seen to show any signs of oil or shine. Defiantly recommend to all!

I don't tend to buy too many high end products but I jumped the gun and got colour matched for this foundation. This is amazing. I have oily skin so I love the matte finish. It does stay a long time on skin so it does what it says. It doesn't budge and it's lovely to apply. I think it's well worth the money and I've heard that it's even cheaper now at $69. I love the packaging with the gold cap. However, I wish it has a pump.

I absolutely love this foundation, one bottle lasts me about a year, it has great coverage and stays on for the whole day from 8am to 11pm and comes in so many shades its great matches any skin tone and defiantly worth the price of what it is, never came across anything better
