It's been quite a while since I've used this but only because I've been using a powder for speed and saving a little money after having small people come along! This is probably one of my all time favourite foundations. It is so great for combination skin as it does exactly what it says. It balancing out the skin so beautifully and I love the way that it looks on. A little bit dewy but also not shiny. Just beautiful. I really need to go back to the clinique counter and check my skin again and try get back into it.

Clinique is one of my go to brands for cosmetics and skincare. Even better by Clinique is one of my favourite foundations, so I wanted to give this one a go also.
The package is distinctive of Clinique, simple, sleek and stylish with it’s silver top and plain bottle. It just looks classy.
In terms of my skin, my skin can be rather dry and sometimes reactive- which is why Clinique is always a good option for me. So gentle!
This has nice coverage, medium and looks lovely on this skin. It’s just another nice foundation from Clinique. It’s a matte finish, which is different than even better. It also has more coverage.
Well another winner from Clinique, a great foundation for dry skin that gives lovely coverage.
Tips: Wait for a gift with purchase to try out the other goodies Clinique has!
I have been using this foundation for years. My skin used to be very oily when I was younger but now I would say it is a normal skin type. For both my oily skin and my dry skin this foundation has worked very well. I have also used many other foundations, mainly as I want a quick inexpensive option (this foundation isn't $23 as stated) for day to day wear and none thus far have been as good as Clinique Superbalanced.
I have always tipped a small quantity out and applied to my face bit by bit until completely covered and well blended, this has worked well for me the last 10+ years and haven't had a problem with the edges but I see wet fingertips can also be used for extra blending!
This foundation gives good coverage without feeling really heavy. I don't tend to use a powder over this foundation like I do with many others unless I wanted a full makeup look as it isn't needed. It is also amazing at keeping shine away and equally as good if you have any dry patches. Removal is a breeze with any cleanser I happen to have on hand.
It comes in a glass bottle which is easy to handle but getting the last of the foundation out can be a bit of a pain. Other than this small gripe this is one amazing foundation worth trying!
Tips: Tip out a small amount to start with as a little goes a long way.
Firstly - I am concerned about the RRP on the description of this product, as I have been paying a lot more than $23 for this product - the last bottle I bought was in October 2016 and I paid more than $50AUD in duty free - so I would hope that I haven't been ripped off as I have been thinking this was a luxury product. Besides the price query - I have to say I really enjoy using this foundation and am on my third or fourth bottle. Its easy to apply, and blends nicely along the jaw and hair line, and with contouring and highlighting products. You can balance the application to be thicker in places where needed, and it doesn't look like you have heavy make-up on. It washes off easily with cleanser, but I do find that it has a slightly odd odour. As I always put perfume on as part of my morning routine its not an issue, and the odour doesn't hang around once its blended. The glass bottle makes it a decent weight, so your not likely to knock it over easily, although perhaps a pump action top might be a nice option.
Being British means I don't tan well, so I use the same colour all year long, but a friend of mine has olive tones and tells me she needs two bottles for when she has a tan.
Tips: Match your skin tone for summer and winter options if you tan easily
Best foundation I have ever used. It's perfect for my dry/combination skin and I find the finish to be flawless and even. Absolutely love it!
I have this foundation, but I only use it for special occasions, it is a bit pricey for everyday use (I don't think mine was so cheap as it says here $23!?). It blends into my skin so perfectly and the color suits me too as the lovely Clinique lady tried a couple of them on my skin and I bought the best match.:) It doesn't dry out my skin and I really like the smooth appearance it gives my complexion + it doesn't look unnatural at all even though it hides my imperfections so well, it still looks like my skin(looovee). I find it's easiest to work it into my skin with my fingers. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a pump and I always have to pour it out of the bottle and it's really runny and I always get out too much, the consistency is good to work it into your skin, but the bottle would really need to come with a pump, or you waste too much product. I wouldn't repurchase it only because of this matter, otherwise it's my favourite foundation.
Tips: I use small, empty (washed up) tins and pour some foundation into them for easier application.
