MAC Prep + Prime Fix + Review

I love this product and use it most days I apply makeup.

I don't think (for me) Fix + really works as a setting spray and I don't feel it helps my makeup last longer - but that isn't why I use it.

I use Fix + to finish off my makeup and get rid of any excess powder and avoid that 'powdery' look that sometimes happens. It really helps everything to settle down nicely and adds a bit more of a dewy look and adds hydration. I also really like using this after touch ups - e.g come home and do a quick powder and blush touch up before going out for dinner, then add a quick spritz of Fix +. It helps to make my makeup look more refreshed.

I really like the packaging and feel despite it being a plastic container it is still quite sleek and doesn't look or feel cheap. I like the clear bottle as well so I can tell how much is left and repurchase before running out!

I am in love with this! Perfect for anyone who wants a quick refresh. I first bought this a few years back for my professional kit and have not regretted paying the hefty price for this in the slightest.

The reason for me purchasing this was that I was looking for something I could use on clients faces sort of in place of a toner. I was recommended to give this a go, and was told it can act as a refresher and a fixing spray.

Best way to test it out was on myself, so I started using it in the morning after cleansing. I really felt like the mist helped to brighten my face up, perfect for an early morning start. I then applied my makeup and sprayed the Fix+ over top to set my face. The spray was beautiful and lightweight, so didn't feel like I was adding anything to my face. Initially it gives a dewy appearance but soaks into the skin beautifully.

This has been a lifesaver in my kit, and I cannot see myself without the Fix+ as it has been one of the most versatile products I own. Best thing is that the scent is very non-intrusive, so good for any type of client.

Love my fix+ I use it before using my primer/foundation to lock in extra moisture and again to set my powder. It leaves a fresh finish and keeps everything in place for ages. The scent is quite light and pleasant. Packaging wise this product is awesome, the lid twists to lock for easy traveling.

Im not sure how i lived without this before. I haven't even had my bottle for a couple months and I'm already halfway. I guess that should be a con to it. Anyways, this is a refresher than can be used to intensify an eyeshadow, hydrate the skin which eliminates that unflattering powdery look.

I have dry skin, and i don't like using a powder on my face but i do need to set my foundation and concealer, so before and after powdering, i spray this on my face and it just masks my face with flawlessness.

Its not a very fine mist, but it is fine enough that it doesn't spray big chunks of water droplets. My makeup never looks good when i forget to spray this on my face.

However, this does not prolong your makeup. I suggest the UD all nighter spray for that which is another one of my faves. Also, as i mentioned, i go through this quite quickly. I wish it came in a gallon size.

This product can be used in so many different ways and that it why I love it! It lasts quite along time, two sprays will cover the face, it is a nice applicator (fine mist), smells good, feels super hydrating, and finishes make up beautifully. I use this to lock in moisture before I apply a moisturizer, finish my make up, and application of eye shadow.

For someone like myself with dry skin, this is a must have! My favorite thing about this is that I can use a powder over my foundation without it looking unnatural and dry. It also gives my face a dewy look, but this of course is not for everyone.

This is one of my favourite MAC products by far! This is a great multi use product that should be in everyones makeup bag! Like a lot of other reviewers, I agree that it is brilliant for dry skin. I use my Fix+ when my skin needs a refresher with or without makeup, I use it to set my makeup right at the end of my application (it gives your skin a final hydration boost and can give it a dewy look), I also use it for when I use pigments or want to intense the look of my eyeshadow.

I love the smell of Fix + it has this amazing fresh, calming scent which is so addictive!

Absolutely love it! It's a summer time essential! I have real dry skin and even some of the best moisturisers cannot keep up with the sun. This is just a refreshing treat! So good even my husband asks for some.. Plus there's no fragrance to it.. So it's unisex id say!

I never thought I would never be able to live without a makeup item but this is something I will always re-purchase! I use it after primer, after foundation and after I finish my make-up of a morning and it makes it go from dull to fab!! I find makeup looks kinda powdery on me no matter what product or primer I use but with this it gets rid of the powdery look and look more natural! It has a fantastic smell, reminds me of cucumbers and makes your oily face in the middle of the day disappear and feel like you have freshly applied makeup! Worth buying!!

I have been using this product for awhile now and absolutely love it, it has so many uses, I like to spray it on my face in the morning before applying my makeup to refresh me and hydrate my skin, or alternatively I will spray it on my makeup brushes before using them which helps the foundation to apply amazingly to my face, or I use it after I have done my makeup to "set it" and give it a dewy finish. What's not to love when its such a versatile product! I will always have this in my bathroom as a holy grail product, I cant recommend it enough!

This moisture finishing spray is perfect for spraying over your whole face when your make up is done. Its a bit wet at first but you just let it dry and your make up stays macing for ages! We even use a quick spray here and there when doing jobs so we can cool down and refresh.
