Good for the price

I bought this as we all know contouring kits are in right now and this was super cheap. Straight away I noticed the bronzing powders were very pigmented so I had to blend blend blend as i put on a lot of product!! They work pretty well though if you use them correctly.

Tips: Use sparingly!

Contour Kit

I purchased the Australis contour kit after a friend suggested it to me as an alternative to the more expensive contour kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills. As a beginner in the world of contouring it was very handy to have the printed instructions on the back of the packaging which can be easily and always accessed. I found it took quite some time to get the amount of product right on my face as it is quite pigmented and can sometimes become hard to blend in. I've found that using a very light hand and little product can end in your desires look. In the end it is a pretty good product which is affordable!

Tips: Light hand & little product

Possibly too pigmented but still good!

The highlights in this kit are awesome. The yellow powder is great for setting under eyes and the the shimmer colour is an awesome highlights that isn't too chunky and not too obnoxious.

The darker shades are VERY pigmented. Perhaps too much so for use on the face. You have to use a very light hand and be prepared to do a lot of blending.

I LOVE the darker shades for eye-shadow though! They work amazingly well and I find blend a lot easier on the eye-lid than on the face for some reason. I use them pretty much every day on my lids.

Tips: If you aren't getting a lot of use of the darker shades for contouring, try using them as eye-shadows. The pigmentation works super well for a brown smokey eye.

Australis AC on tour kit

I actually quite like it. The "banana" powder is awesome and so is the highlighting powder. I'm a wee bit iffy about the "fawn" colour though. It's kind if hard to blend out and in some places comes off patchy. All-in-all, I think it's great

Tips: Use contour and bronzing shades very sparingly. Also, tap off excess powder.

Very pigmented!

These powders are so pigmented, a little goes along way! Seriously, use with a very light hand!

I love the highlight powder, it's not glittery or chunky, just enough of a shimmer to look natural.

The yellow based shade is ideal for setting under the eyes too, I find it cancels out my purple/blue dark under eyes circuses nicely.

There are a couple of shades that are a little too warm toned for me, I prefer the cooler toned browns for contouring.

There is definitely a good range of shades to suit all though. 2 x Lighter shades, a shimmery, highlight and 3 contour shades.

Tips: Use sparingly!

Not worth the hype

I bought this when there was a huge hype, i was so excited until i used it, what a let down!! the only thing i like about this palette is the Highlight shade it is amazing, the contour shade is really muddy and hard to blend, it also disappears throughout the day. only recommend to beginners

Tips: blend like crazy and use a light hand

Australis AC on Tour Kit

I finally got my hands on this product a few months ago, as it had been sold out in so many stores for a long time. Honestly, I don't really get why there is so much hype about it. The highlight colours are great for setting concealer & highlighting, but I'm not a huge fan of the contour colours. The left and middle colours are quite grey, and the right colour is a little bit orange based. They are very pigmented, chalky and quite hard to blend out. They left two are quite nice mixed together when you don't apply too much. The contour kit overall is okay and I quite like it, I just wasn't as impressed as I expected to be after hearing such great things.

Tips: Use an extremely light hand, I would also recommend not using a dense brush as the powders are very pigmented.

Good colour dupe for ABH Contour Kit

While the colours of this kit look really similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills kit the powders themselves are so chalky and average quality at best. You have to use a really light hand and just build up the contour you want because it's really easy to look like you've just been playing in dirt if you don't. They are so powdery so really tap the excess off your brush.

I do really like the cool toned bronzer they have. They only have one palette though so if your skin is tanner/darker then this won't be for you. The warm bronzer is nice but a little too dark for me (it's the darkest shade out of the three contour colours - on a tan skin tone it would probably look better).

I don't even touch the highlight colours but that's more because of personal preference. I use the banana powder to set my under-eye concealer but that's about it. I like my highlighter to be more of a sheen than just a lighter colour so that's why I don't use them. If you cream contour they'd probably be good to set your cream product with.

The packaging is really nice and basically looks exactly the same as the ABH one just with the Australis logo and the name of the product in large pink font.

Overall it is good value for money - I only use two of the colours but it is nice having the other ones there just in case I'm feeling them and the price of the whole contour kit is cheaper than the price of a single highlighter and contour powder. I'd probably repurchase it because the downsides of the palette are things I can live with!

Tips: Use an incredibly light hand!

Australis AC On Tour Kit

was so excited when I found this at farmers. Its great for contouring but you definatly have to do a little at a time and blend well because if you put to much on straight away it looks like a dirty mark that is hard to blend. The yellow powder is great for brightening the under eye area but can look chalky if too much is put on. The contour colors are a mix of cool and warm tones to suit most skin colors but I wouldn't recommend the darkest tone on fair skin.

The colors also work well for contouring eyes etc so there really is a use for every share in the palette

It is definatly worth buying. Great value for the price :-)

Tips: It's great how the back of the palette has instructions for beginners

Australis AC On Tour Kit

Recommended by a friend, she absolutely loves it. I like it, i find you have to be careful how much of the contour powder you apply to your face. if you put too much on, it can make your face look dirty, compared to defined.

Love the banana colour powder, perfect for setting the make up under your eye, really brightens the under eye.

I use the highlight colours on a daily basis! especially the one on the far right top corner. absolutely love the shine on it.

I've never tried any other contour kit, but for the price of this one, you can't really go wrong.

i have to say the only downside to this pallet is they are quite hard to blend out. and the pans smash really easy! I've had to set 3 of them already!

defiantly will repurchase though, good value for money, and good for beginners who don't want to invest in a mega expensive contour kit just yet

Tips: Less is more with this pallet. use minimal powder, then build it up if you require more product
