An absolute must

I can't say how much I love this product. This product has made my life and make up routine so much better. I bought this because of a comparison I saw online with the anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette and I saw that people liked the Australis more so I jumped on that band wagon I love the colours so much they are the classic contour highlight shades and they are the best. The contour shades have a good variety, I tend to stick to the warm toned brown as it's the easiest to work with. I use all of the highlight shades, the matte colours are amazing and work very well, the banana shade is so good for setting under eye concealer and a highlight and the shimmer champagne colour is an awesome highlight and perfect to give that dewy look

Tips: Use it sparingly, the pigmentation makes is a little difficult to blend but a little does go a long way.

Good to play around with

I was so excited to buy this! The packaging was sleek and it looked similar to the shades of the ABH (Anastasia Beverley Hills) contour palette but at half the price! The highlighters are wonderful for an everyday glow and I do not find them to be too glitzy or intense, the 'banana' shade is my favorite and perfect for setting concealer under my eyes it was the first shade I have nearly used up! Then it gets the the contour shades, I found them highly pigmented so you need to use a light hand, but once placed in the correct areas a bit hard to blend out nicely. I found that it didn't blend or they blended patchy which was frustrating. I still used them mixed with a bight of bronzer to buff them out on my skin but the best thing I have found is to use them as crease colours for your eye shadows! They are amazing and seem to blend out nicely when mixed with other eye shadows, so anyone who is in the same boat don't let the product go to waste use it for eye shadow!

Tips: If you don't like the contour shades, use them as eyeshadows!

Better than expected

I purchased this worrying that it would be complete shit.

It was a lot better than I expected it to be and a little goes a long way. I am still new to this whole contouring thing but love using this just to play around with.

The banana colour in the palette is great for hiding the dark spots under my eyes which is a huge key factor for me.

I think it is great for the price even just to play around with. I found this at my local pharmacy for $18.50! so I was pretty stoked.

It is OK

This was my first purchase to try contouring on my face. I found that because I have pink undertones there is only 2 colors that suit my skin. The lighter shade that I tried using seems to not really sink in but sits on top of my foundation and makes my skin look quite dry and cakey especially under my eyes and cheeks. The darker tone that I use is great and continue to use it as a bronzer/contour although I do find it is a very strong pigment and I need to tap a little of the product off my brush before applying. For $20 not bad. But not great either.

Great for the price!

I was so stoked to find this because I had wanted to start contouring a lot more and this was so handy to have. It has 3 contour shades and 3 highlight shades, they're super pigmented and really powdery so a light hand is definitely needed when working with this product. I only really use 4 of the 6 shades though. I think it's definitely worth the price, even if you just want to start out with contouring

Total hit or miss

After hearing lots of rave and comparison to the ABH kit I decided to pick this up in Farmers when there was a BOGO special.

The first thing I noticed was the crazy pigmentation! I usually swirl my brush but with this palette I found I needed to lightly tap my brush in the pan. It's not very easy to blend so you really do need to build it up slowly. I didn't really find the highlight (shades 1 & 3) really useful, as they weren't my preference for highlighting and too pale to set foundation with. The banana shade (2) is super great for setting my undereye highlight, luckily I'm quite warm toned so it doesn't have a weird yellow-y look on me.

Shades 4 and 6 are both great for bronzing however again I have other bronzers that I usually reach for so these 2 are pretty much untouched. Shade 5 is where the real contouring comes in. This is by far the best contour shade for me, it's cool toned so it mimics a shadow really well. It gives me a nice chiseled look.

I wouldn't buy this again just for the fact that I only really use 2 of the colours. I didn't find many other problems with this palette, apart from the slightly chalky consistency this palette was very easy to use. I'm just disappointed I couldn't get more use out of the other shades.

Tips: Use sparingly. As with all contour palettes, just buy an eyeshadow or bronzer that's good for contouring as you most likely won't be able to get use out of the entire palette.

Surprisingly good

I bought this product as a way to get a free gift at farmers not thinking much of this but I really like it.

Firstly, the pallete itself has nice sturdy packaging with clear slips to keep the product from moving. This pallete is a little on the small size but is a good realistic size for the price paid. The powders when used are very powdery and make a lot of mess from the excess powder which is hard to prevent. This fall out causes product to be wasted which is unfortunate.

I think all the brown contour shades look very similar which is disapointing. They are quite muddy and hard to work with. However, there is a great pigment on these colours.

The 1st colour on the pallete which is the white shade is really good as a setting powder both for highlighting or normal setting. I did find that using this for those reasons did help make my makeup set in place and was long wearing. It is a very heavy product however so apply with caution and dab your tool of choice very lightly tapping off the excess

The banana shade in this pallete is lovely even though it is harder to use that normal powders because of its chalky consistency. I found that it was good for highlighting yet took a while to blend to look natural and not like an actual banana.

The highlight shade is lovely and complements pale skin very well (because I'm pale) and It is very pigmented which is great.

Overall, this pallete is a 50/50 for me I enjoy the top section a lot yet the bottom lacks for me.

Tips: This product is very powdery and picks up a lot of product so be light with your desired tool and tap off the excess. Make sure to use a littlest possible then build up to your desired look.

AC on tour

I actually really like this, it is very affordable and it is a great dupe for the Anastasia Beverley Hills one or the Kat Von Dee shade and light Palette. There's three darker shades for contouring and bronzing and also a really nice banana powder for highlight under the eyes. Overall it is a great kit and I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't want to pay expensive prices for the higher end contour palettes.

You get what you pay for...

This kit is cheap! Realistically you get what you pay for. Instead of spending a ridiculous amount of money on a more quality product this can do the job. While I noticed while using the powders there is quite a lot of wastage as the product lifts as soon as a brush touches it and sits on top of the powder. There are three different contour shades. There are clear instructions on the back of how "best" to contour using the palette which is great for beginners! The banana powder seems to be the favourite powder in the kit for many, but not myself. I found because of winter my skin is getting dry. When I used the banana powder to set the concealer under my eyes it was dry and sitting on top clearly so I had to wipe it off! Therefore I would not recommend this palette to people with dry skin. Overall, it is not a bad palette for the price. Is great for beginners and I feel the contour shades can be easily blended out and built up for a more intense look!

Tips: Use a soft and gentle brush to pickup product

Hate it!

I really don't like giving products such bad reviews but I actually despise this product. It is so chunky and chalky and powdery and the contour shades are too muddy for my nc25 skin tone. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. This product is just sitting in my drawer not living it's life.

I did try hard to get it to work but it just wasn't happening. The only thing worth using is the highlighter.
