I enjoyed using this product as it was my first contouring kit I had purchased however the highlight colours seemed to run out pretty fast as I felt I had to use quite a lot for it to look good/noticeable. The darker colours however can be a bit muddy, so they need to be blended super well. I did like that it was easy to use and the wee diagram on the back was helpful.

Reviews
I was very kindly gifted this product from a lovely beauty review member. I was over the moon as I'd been so wanting to try it but my local Farmers never had it in stock. It was something I definitely would have bought for myself if I had ever seen it in store but it was so nice to have it arrive in my letterbox!
This is packaged pretty simply but if you have any other Australis products then it kind of matches. It is a very secure case that won't randomly open up and get product everywhere. There isn't a mirror or any accessories included with this but it does have a simple to follow instruction sticker on the back. If you've ever watched youtube makeup videos, you'd probably be quite familiar with how to apply contour and highlight anyway but it is nice to have that reference on the back.
There are six pans in this. I'm not sure of the size as it doesn't say on the package and the box is long gone. They are bigger than eyeshadows, but not as big as full size blush pans. Maybe more like travel size blush pans? Anyway on the top row is 3 highlight shades. There is a peach, yellow and a shimmery peach. The bottom row has 3 contours/bronzers, to me there is one cool tone, one warm tone and one more neutral tone. These powders are all very pigmented, especially the dark shades. They are also quite powdery though. I find they give you beautiful hand swatches but blending them out on your face can be a little tricky, because they are so pigmented and then they can go a bit patchy and almost blend away to nothing after that. The peach highlighter shades are ok, but I find the yellow to be quite chalky.
Whenever I used this, I never ended up liking my makeup. I just found the contour to be too pigmented to be easy to work with and to just make it look natural on my face. I also found the highlights too drying for my dry skin so they ended up sitting funny on my skin and looking cakey under my eyes.
I loved being able to try this out and it is an affordable option if you want to get into contouring. For me it didn't work but I know other people love it, so for around $20 it might be worth giving it a go. I plan to pass this on and I hope they can give this some love that I could not.
Tips: go really light handed to start with, you really don't want big stripes up the sides of your face!
this product was talked about by everyone around me, so when i got it for a present - was super excited! got it in the light shade yet the contour shades were far too dark, they went grey and clumpy on my face and no matter how much i tried couldn't make them work, the highlight shades were ok - but not enough to justify purchasing the palette again, now the palette is half empty as i have no use for the 3 contour shades - such a pity as i had heard this being talked about by everyone as a more affordable version of ABH - super disappointed and most definitely wouldn't recommend for those with light skin nor beginners
Tips: not for those with fair skin
I love this product and use it all the time! The banana powder is life its so good for under eyes. The light powder is also amazing for highlighting other areas of the face. The dark colours are really good but very pigmented so you have to be careful when applying, not to put too much on the brush. Overall such a good product for someone on a budget! Would recommend!
My first ever contour kit and I love it I use it all the time and so far have brought 3 because I use it that often I love it
Tips: Use clean brushes for each shade :)
This was my first ever contour kit and I'm still using it!!! I love using this to practise and wear all day! it's really blendable and has good shades!!! really want to try the cream one now!
I loved this product - it was super easy to use and has great instructions/pictures on the back that would help people who never wear makeup figure out what to do! It goes on really well and the colors are really great. The finish isn't too powdery and it wears really well. I purchased from Farmers and would definitely reccomend this product!
Tips: Start with a small amount and practice with as little more each time until you figure out your perfect finish
I loooooove this contour pallet! The high lighting powder gives such a beautiful look, I use this everytime I wear make up! I purchased this product from Farmers. Wasn't to expensive, totally worth it!
I Received this product as a gift from my secret Santa this Christmas (How lucky was i), I had been looking at buying it for awhile but wasn't about how to use it correctly. When i got it i super excited to try it and let me tell you i wasn't disappointed.
It comes with all the instruction on the back of the pallet giving you examples of where to put each colour and in which order. I thought this was great coming from a girl just learning how to contour. The colours on this pallet are quite a range between light and quite dark. I ended up purchasing The medium to dark pallet as well and use colours from each as a few from this one were a tad to dark for my pale completion.
My negatives are that it had no mirror unlike the medium to dark pallet, which they must have improved on. This just makes it annoying if your trying to do a touch up on the run. And a few of the shades have quite a gray undertone to them which can make your face look muddy if you over use the product! So small amounts and building up are the key!
Over all i rate this product well and will continue to use it! Love the size and how it can just be thrown into my handbag!
Tips: Small amounts of product building up is the key! Too much makes your face look muddy!
ps the highlighting colours are amaze!
I liked the banana powder, I used that one to set my under eye concealer, but you kinda have to be light handed with it because too much and honey you gonna be looking cakey. Now for the contour shades, they are ok. dont use too much because it's gonna be looking muddy
Tips: start with a bit and then built it up!
