Rimmel Lasting Radiance Base Regime Reviews

The dream team! On their own these three products are amazing additions to your makeup routine but used together say goodbye to heavy make up and hello to a flawless face!

These products really complimented each other the primer made the foundation a breeze to apply and the concealer hid all my uneven skin tones and a wee outbreak all without looking heavy and thick

After my first use of the three products I looked the pricing up on the Farmers website and was geniunely shocked! These products are honestly such good value for money. I've used far more expensive products that didnt get as good results as these. I'm usually more of a tinted moisturiser and a splash of bronzer kinda of girl, especially during the week so was excited to try a more makeupey look.

Helpfully i even had a smeaky pimple pop up the week before to test out the concealer :)

The three products work well together but can all be used effectivelly separately so thats a plus for me.

The primer has a definite shimmer to it so is good for a quick fresh face look on a no makeup day.

The foundation was also a suprise, looking at it in the bottle I thought it was going to be way too dark for my winter skin and to be fair the ivory shade is probably more like my summer skin than the current 28 days of rain in row shade of deathly ill I have going on...

A little bit of moisturiser mixed with the foundation took the colour down a shade and the end resukt was great. The foundation itself glides on nicely over the primer, I tried it without the primer and found it looks way less even and clings to any dry spots on your face.

The concealer rounds out the other two products nicely, easy application with the tube and blends in nicely with your fingertips although I'm sure you'd get a great result using more sophisticated tools ;)

Tried the concealer on the under eye shadows with just the primer and it still blended well and got good coverage.

All in all the regime works best with all three products, it's designed that way for a reason!

Will definitely look at purchasing again when these run out, its a winner for me.

I trialled the primer, foundation and concealer from this range together and I loved using the three together - partly because it gave me so much satisfaction having matching bottles on my countertop and partly because they obviously work together really well.

The primer has quite a shimmer to it, which is great for starting a base for an evening out. I love it for that but probably wouldn’t use it as a day to day base personally. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t have a funny smell so all around I think it’s a great primer.

The foundation is epic! I found I only needed the tiniest amount when paired with the primer to get a really even medium coverage - less than a small finger nail amount was perfect for me so this product is going to last! I loved that my coverage lasted all day. I usually wear a light BB cream to work but with this I could put a small amount on and really enjoy all day coverage.

The concealer has a really easy to use applicator to apply under the eye area and any uneven skin tone areas of concern. I found it slightly heavier coverage so again only needed a small amount to get the result I wanted.

All around I really enjoy using this regime and can’t wait to use it on a night out for a full glam look!

These products were good, made my skin radiant as it said on the packaging as it had glitter through it to really highlight my skin and make it glow. The primer was great, can be used on it's own or under foundation and felt really light on my skin. The foundation has spf25 which I thought was awesome but the colour was too orange for my liking. The coverage was great though and it stayed on all day. The concealer was great, easy to apply with an applicator wand and really made my under eye area bright. Overall, I did like these products, I loved how they highlighted my skin and the coverage. I'm going to purchase a different shade of foundation and try again to see how I go. I have very dry skin in the winter so finding things that will work for me can be sometimes hard work but i was very lucky that BR has given me the chance to review these.

Primer - I liked this as a highlighter more then a primer. I wouldn't buy again but i am going to keep trying to see if my opinion changes.

Concealer - I really like this concealer! its got a good brush and doesn't get to cakey on my face.

Foundation - I liked the foundation the most out of all three! its dewy and makes your skin look great! also amazing for people with dry skin

Overall I liked the foundation and concealer the most. I would buy these once they have run out. I wouldn't however buy the primer. Have already recommended to friends.

I was super excited to trial this range but it was a bit of a mixed bag. I used the primer, concealer and foundation but found the foundation did not suit me, the colour was ivory but very orangey on me. I found it also showed up my pores rather than reduced them. The concealer and primer, however, I found amazing! The concealer matched my skin and actually covered my lines and dark circles and the primer gave my skin a lovely, natural glow. As a full regime, I wouldn't use it but I would use the concealer and primer together for a nice, understated look.

The entire collection is lovely.

It says what it will do on the bottle which is give you a radient finish.

But sadly I am not the biggest fan.

The primer has very chunky glitter pieces and runs quite yellow. This would actually work great as a highlighter however and I may try it for this shortly.

The foundation does stay all day and I can attest to that. Needed a good oil cleanser for remover. Its very glowy but it can make your skin look oily. I applied this a number of ways too - with a brush and beauty blender. Both worked well.

The concealer. Is actually the best out of the bunch. It is very hydrating under the eyes - minimal creasing BUT it wasn't until I was removing it (I tested it with another foundation to see if it would also work well) that I noticed that it was very very glittery. Not great.

Overall? Its a good inexpensive regieme and if you want a glowy look this will do this for you.

Not only are these products great value for money, they're great quality. All three go on well together, last all day and really help to brighten the complexion. I loved this regime, and think I'll be sticking around for more once this lot is all gone. What more could a girl ask for - even, bright coverage, covers all spots and blemishes really well, and smells delish to top it all off!

I think the rimmel lasting radiance base regime is fantastic overall, I have a new favorite concealer and foundation and it's an affordable range too which is important. The packaging is nice too which will make for awesome photos for influencers to post about. The shade range could use some work but that's my only gripe.

I love the packaging of the products - it fits with their range and you can tell that they are Rimmel products straight away. I really like how Rimmel seems the packaging consistent and just customises the colour of the range to suit each different use (in this instance orange for radiance makes sense).

The scent of the primer was quite strong - it reminds me of the Clean and Clear orange 'Morning Burst' cleanser. I quite like it and I think that is to do with the sense of nostalgia it gives, but if you are sensitive to scents it may be too much. I didn't notice the scent in the foundation or concealer.

When I first applied the primer, I noticed hints of shimmer on my face and it seemed to be showing up on some dry patches so I was a bit worried. Then I realised that it was only in my close up mirror that the shimmer was actually noticeable and really the overall look was just glowy, honestly no one would actually notice the particles of shimmer unless they were extremely close!

Once I added foundation, the shimmer in the primer wasn't noticeable at all. It is like adding the foundation tones down the shimmer in the primer but brings out the luminosity overall, which is great and what I assume Rimmel was aiming for.

The concealer blends really nicely. I like that when you take the wand out, there isn't too much product on it so you don't need to tab it round the entrance. However, I wasn't 'wowed' by the concealer. If it hadn't been given to me in the set, I don't think I would have considered it a 'radiance' concealer - it does a good job concealing but it didn't really radiate my under eye area. Instead of a concealer I would have rather seen a radiating primer in the range.

Overall, I was impressed by the range. The primer and foundation work really well together and for the first time I am seeing the benefits of using products from a range together (I used to think that it was purely a marketing gimmick). I was worried a 'radiance' range might just make my slightly oily face look oiler, but it really made me seem to glow without making me oily. I would purchase the primer and foundation again, but I'm not totally sold on the concealer (which works well enough) and that may be because the other two products are just so good.
