L'Oréal Paris More Than a Concealer

I was lucky enough to be sent one of these concealers to review for the Beauty Crew - thanks guys! I wondered if the colour was going to work for me - I have an olive Polynesian skin tone with undertones of yellow, and most concealers and foundations are a little too pink for me. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shade I was sent - while a little light on first application - blended out to match my skin tone quite well. (Cedar 333 in case you were wondering!)

The packaging is classic L'oreal - chic on a budget - and comes in a solid plastic tube. I got a bit of a shock when I unscrewed it - the applicator seemed massive compared to my last concealer, and it was furry, lol. Because I'm the type of person that just uses concealer on my dark pigmented spots, the size of the applicator seemed like overkill to me. But I guess if you do the whole baked under-eye palava or need a full face cover-up, it would be perfect!

The consistency is quite thick and the pigment is solid. It doesn't fade when you blend it out, and it doesn't crease in my laugh lines. Bonus! I have found in the past, that if I have reddish marks from spots, I need to apply a green veil first, in order for the concealer to do its job, but not with this. It has a full coverage effect without being too heavy. It's quite hard-wearing as well, it managed to last most of the day without a touch up, so great value. All in all, a really good product from L'Oreal! Will recommend!

I’d actually never used a concealer before and now I’ve discovered what I’ve been missing!

The L'Oreal Paris more than a concealer applicator is targeted, soft and spongy and the product was was easily applied to just the areas I needed cover. I then use a beauty blender to blend it in a bit in places like under my eyes.

The tube and applicator is great for carrying around in your makeup bag. The concealer is thick enough that it covered my areas of redness, blemishes and imperfections yet ‘Biscuit’ seemed the perfect shade for my skin (light med with a warm skin tone and pink undertones) in that my normal liquid foundation just blended in nicely straight on over it.

It's light and yet does what it is supposed to and lasts all day.

I love this concealer. Its like the name says, it's way more than just a concealer. It was the perfect shade for my skin. I find concealers are usually too yellow or too pink for me and this was right in between. I don't like to wear makeup on a daily basis but just a little something to cover blemishes and skin imperfections, without the appearance of a super covered face. With this concealer I dab the smallest amount on and it goes such a long way, covers with just one touch but definitely could be buildable if required and cover with powder and off I go for the day. It's amazing, lasts all day.

This concealer is the best one I have ever tried, it truly is longlasting and didn't give me the dreaded panda eyes that usually happens to me when my mascara decides to dissolve into my concealer. My lifestyle is quite active and I need products that can stand the test of high-intensity endeavours. The consistency doesn't feel thick and blends easily with my foundation. It has a bigger than normal applicator probably because you are able to use it as a highlighter or contour as well in different shades. It has great pigmentation and hid my red acne scars well and has a matte finish that works great with my infallible matte foundation. Having a medium skin tone with yellow undertones I usually struggle to get the right tone, but the colour Cedar worked well for me, and it is great to see that L'Oreal caters for all skin tones. I think it is very reasonably priced and better quality than other high-end concealers I have tried in the past. I would definitely recommend this concealer.

I received this to review, and right off the bat I loved it. It wasn't in a pump bottle and it comes out on a oversized lip gloss brush. A VERY small amount goes a long way, it blends perfectly and gives a complete even cover it's super simple to use and makes your face feel fresh and looking fantastic. I found it didn't sink into all my lines which is a true blessing. This is a true keeper and being called more than a concealer is the right name as u can use it as an all over foundation. Nice texture and awesome colours u will find a true match in this. I would highly recommend giving it a try

It's a standard size concealer - so a small tube, but a little goes a long way - I think i'll get a lot of use out of this!

It's both tacky which I love as it gives it great coverage but it spreads easily which is great. It's kind of like a super-concentrated founation, the coverage and concealment is immense.

I really loved the applicator. The sponge end was large and wide which really assisted with the application.

This is easily the best concealer I have used in a long time and easily compares to my high end one which is twice the price. I'm converted.

LOVE THIS. Couldn't get over how HUGE the applicatir stick is. Less is definitley more with this product i always apply my concealer as a secondary product after foundation. The colour was perfect- a lighter tone than your foundation to assist as a highlighting product.

Less is definitley more with this product- it could be used as a foundation I found the coverage and application spread THAT good. Definitley would be a great product to pair up with and equally high coverage foundation for an absolutely flawless look.

Now Loreal all you need to do is create a flawless dupe for the doublewear foundation. You are so on the right track with this concealer.

First of all, I love the packaging, although it feels quite cheap it looks really nice. It has a doe foot applicator which is described as large so I was warned, but it is the biggest doe foot applicator I have ever seen. It works really well though so I’m not complaining.

It is scented, slightly perfumed but not overpowering at all, just kind of a generic concealer scent. The texture is so creamy and easy to blend, I applied it and blended it with a beauty blender and I was so happy with it.

It definitely has a matte finish and lasts so long, but I did notice quite a lot of creasing under my eyes the longer I left it on, but that was after about 10 hours of wear.

Overall I highly rate this concealer and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a really good drugstore concealer.

I use concealer relatively often - usually after a few late nights at work or night out when my skin needs a little bit of a lift for the day. I loved the packaging, very stylist and looks fab with the rest of my make up collection! More importantly the colour tone matched my skin perfectly and you only need a little, little amount. 'Alot goes a long way' as a friend told me and she was so right. Its creamy texture is smooth to apply and lasted the whole day. Its coverage was flawless. I love this product and would definitely use and buy again. A must in the make up box!

This is a really neat product. Usually I struggle with concealers creasing or sinking into my wrinkles. Not sitting smoothly over or under foundation, or leaving me looking like I'm supporting a sports team, with visible stripes under my eyes.

The L'Oreal concealer is like a foundation concentrate. The smallest dot, has the spread and concealment of a full cover foundation, while remaining a light, thin undetectable layer.

The applicator is nice to use, soft, springy and makes applying and blending the concealer, both on top and under foundation, a dream.

I found this equally great at sorting out my dark circles and covering my zits.
