Bobbi Brown Corrector Review

I am very fair and I have that blue toned darkness under my eyes that many of my pale friends will know about. I have searched for years to find a concealer that would properly cover the darkness under my eyes. I had heard about this product for ages and so I decided to finally invest in it.

I am not in love with the formula, it is quite thick and can be a little drying but the actual colour (I use porcelain bisque) is an amazing peach tone that really just lightens up my whole under eye area. I like to apply it using an eyeshadow brush so I can control the amount of product, a little goes a long way. I then apply concealer over the top and set with powder. I find that it looks a little cakey at first but within 30 mins it settles into my skin better. You definitely need to apply concealer over the top as it is a pretty unnatural looking colour as it is so light.

Pretty sure I wont be able to live without this product now, I love that people aren't saying I look so tired anymore!

I am in love, finally, with an under eye concealer!

I decided to try a corrector as a concealer to help cover my blue tone circles. I walked up to the counter and asked to give it a try. To help combat the blues under my eye, the make up artist explained that salmon coloured correctors would be needed. She helped pick out a colour and applied it using a flat brush and her fingers.

The product is stored in a small black compact, that opens easily. The round pan inside is almost as large as the compact.

To apply, I use my fingers, and circle my ring finger on the corrector to help warm up the product as it is fairly tacky. Then I dot it on under my eye extending it up over my eye to cover the inner dark corners. I pat, pat, pat the product to get the desired coverage. Then I use a brush to buff out any product in fine lines as it does settle into them. The product has a creamy not dry consistency but it does set quickly. A setting powder is recommended however I prefer to apply a liquid concealer on top to help even out my skin/foundation colour.

I love that this product diminishes my pesky dark circles!

My morning saviour! Cannot love without this product. After years of my eyes swelling from allergies i have permanent dark red circles under my eyes. Regular concealers have never worked but the Bobbi brown corrector is a saving grace. Its creamy textures blends in beautifully and when followed by Bobbi brown concealer it transforms my eyes and hides any sign of puffiness or discolouration. A little goes a long way so it will last you forever. Pricey but so worth it!

I received a sample recently of Bobbi Brown's - Sheer Finish Loose Powder in soft sand. I’m really impressed with this product. It retails for over $50 and while I’ve never spent that much on powder, it's true that you get what you pay for. I like how it’s very finely milled, sheer and thus natural-looking. The soft sand shade has a soft yellow tone to give your skin warmth, rather than making you look like you have dunked your face in talc like a lot of loose powders do. It goes on smooth and doesn't change the colour of my foundation no matter what brand I used, it actually makes it look better, the finish is perfect.

I absolutely love this powder and will be buying it in the future. 5 Stars.

I love this product, I struggle with dark circles under my eyes and this does a great job of hiding them

I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and have tried all sorts of concealers and creams to hide and fix the problem, but nothing has worked until I tried this. Hides the dark circles and lasts all day. Great value for the price, lasted me nearly 6 months and I use it everyday most weeks.

I bought this corrector in deep peach shade and I love it! It is easy to apply and it does offer long wear. I normally apply it with my finger tips after I've applied some eye cream. I then follow some my foundation for an a flawless and even finish. This corrector does give me an even tone and covers up the hyperpigmentation and darkness under my eyes. I've also used it around my lips it works just as great there! I've nearly finished this tub and will be buying and using again.

Bags under the eyes has always been an issue for me so I am always on the look out for a good concealer for around the eyes. Other concealers I have found are too thin and don’t provide enough coverage to block out the dark circles, but this one (corrector) with its pink or peach based tones is thick enough to block out the dark circles. Bobbi Brown then recommends to use the Creamy Concealer (more skin toned) and then powder to set. As my skin tone is naturally red toned I usually skip the concealer and go straight to the powder stage.

I use this in the shade 'bisque' - very creamy and great for covering up under eye circles. I use this under mac pro longwear lately and they work great together - if using alone definitely set it as it is very creamy and can move.

Bobbi browns corrector is the perfect texture for under eye application. It is so creamy and glides on easily, it blends nicely too. Although I am undecided on it's staying power, i have really wrinkly under eyes, and it accentuates this a bit, but the color and cover is just awesome. Packaging is cute and easy to store/travel. I have used my first one to absolute pan, not a drop or dab left and have repurchased. It's not an everyday staple for me but I do enjoy this product and it does cover perfectly :)
