Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush

It was waaayyyy to.shimmering and glitter like for me I felt like a barbie . I didn't like the.moose texture like I thought I might qnd a little went a long way so I often over did it.

I found this extremely difficult to use. It's really hard to know how much to use, and it seems that it can only be applied with fingers because of the mousse consistency. Its also super glittery, which is hard to tell when looking at the package. Because I tend to use powder over my foundation, it also can't be applied over the powder. Would be more suitable for a dewy or fresh look which didn't require powder.

I've had this for a while now, but I never really reach for it that often. However, when I do, I wonder why I don't! I have this in plum - it's a lovely little blush, great for when you are going for a dewey look. I find that is spreads easily, has the right amount of pigmentation that you want in a cheek product, and has a wee bit of shimmer. A great little all round blush.

This is a really soft creamy blush that has a good shimmer to it. I have this in a light pink colour and have really liked the look it gives my cheeks. I also use this as an eye shadow for a natural pink glow.

I apply this to both my cheeks and eyes with my finger as I find it easier to smooth around and blend that way.

The packaging is really cute in that the tops of the containers mostly match the colour of the product inside. The top is the same size as the container, about the size of an old 50c coin, so it is easy to take off and put back on.

I have had this product for quite awhile and I am only half way through. For me a little goes a long way so it is good value for money.

This was the first blush I had tried and It came is a gorgeous little glass pottle, which made it feel like more of an expensive product, which I loved after seeing plastic, and cheap looking products everywhere else. However, the lid on this is plastic, which made this product seem a bit cheap. Regardless, the design was really effective, and I loved being able to see the product through the glass container!

Lets start with the texture of the product, Maybelline says it a Mousse Blush and they do not disappoint. This product was soft, light, aerated and had the consistency of mousse! Additionally I found a colour to suit my skin tone perfectly, and the cream aspect of this product made it quite easy to apply and blend, which I do with my fingers! Additionally, a little bit of this product goes a long way so its economical as well!

The only negative I can identify, and it is a big negative for me, is this product had lots of little glitter particles in it! I know some of you love that shimmering look, but this is one thing I despise in a blush, for this reason alone, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this product for over a year now, I don't use it every time I use blush as it isn't always the look im going for...

However I have no issue with this product for myself personally I think it's fantastic.

To start off with i had trouble getting an even colour tone on both sides, but I guess with a little practise and persistence I got it right.

I love the wee pottle it comes in little enough for your handbag big enough for your makeup brush or finger to get into to the get the blush out. Rrp is roughly $15 a little expensive. I like the nice wee glow it gives once applied, some times i feel it can be a little shimmery so will only use this product on a night out or a special occasion if I want to be glam!

It's alot different to using a powder blush, it's definetly a Mousse blush that takes a little getting used too.

As someone who has dry skin, I thought a cream product would be really nice to add a glow to my cheeks without giving me a powdery look. I was really disappointed by this product. The mousse feels very...greasy and there was a lot of shimmer/glitter/"reflective particles" that made my face look sweaty and orange peel like. I applied this to a flawless base and it ruined the entire look. Not to mention despite having extremely dry skin this still manages to melt and almost oxidise to the point where I looked a greasy glittery mess and I didn't even put that much on! After a whole day of gross I finally took it off and would you guess it the next day I had broken out along my cheeks. Definitely won't repurchase this!

I had been looking for a nice blush for a long time. When I purchased this one - very good price for the product- I was really pleased with the texture! It was very light and "fluffy" which felt really nice when it came to application. I was pleasantly surprised that it blended well. My favorite shade was the peach satin shade. Once it had been applied it felt really nice also. the product also lasted a long time considering its size.

I love this blusher. I love the soft touch of the mousse on my skin. I'd thought that because it was a mousse that it would feel heavy but it blended really well and I didn't notice it. I love the choice of colours available and that there are a few colours there for darker skin tones.
