Maybelline Fresh BB Cream Review

Too orange based for me and patchy on the skin . I didn't like this at all. Didn't bur rather just orange highlighted my imperfections. A huge no.

This is a really great product for a quick and easy natural look. It’s really light coverage with all the trimmings. Although it doesn’t cover my dark under eyes very well, it definitely tones and blurs your skin to reduce pores and redness. My skin glows after application. It sets to a nice natural finish but doesn’t leave your skin feeling wet or oily.

Love how light this is! Not usually one for make up as I dont have time with my special needs son. This is so easy to apply and covers a multitude of sins! Lasts long enough for me to go out and do what I have to do and is easy to remove.

Every kindy day I wake up before the kids pull the blinds, dress, feed myself and put on my face before the madness starts.

I prefer to leave the house with a bit of makeup on I feel a bit more presentable and less self conscious. This little routine consists of a BB cream, concealer and mascara.

My usual BB cream wasn't available at farmers the last time I went in there - Honestly farmers/maybelline sort your displays the mess and lack of product was shocking! Anywho.. So I had to settle for another maybelline BB cream. I love my usual one so I was a bit miffed to have to settle but it hasn't been too bad a compromise.

And I must admit the only reason I stayed loyal to the brand was because of the price and the luck I have had with using their products in the past.. I have never purchased a lemon to be honest.

This cream is very light weight and easy to use. Blends in so well and never streaks. It's a silky smooth cream and feels soft and smooth to the touch when on the skin. Not sticky and smelly. Because of this the light cream does flow quite freely from the tube and I do think I rip through using this faster than my usual but the good thing is any excess is easily absorbed or washed away. It's a breeze to clean your hands after as the light weight formula just washes off so no transfer.

A great formula for the kindy mornings when I just want a light mask. I would recommend a different BB if you want a more heavy application and better coverage.

But for my fairly fair skin the light BB cream allows for quick application, light coverage, easy absorption, hardly any blending and a nice smooth dewy looking finish.

I have tried a few BB creams and this is one of my favorites. I have oily skin and have some acne scarring. This has quite a good coverage for a BB cream. It leaves my skin looking natural and covers a few skin problems. I'm quite impressed by it, does what its says it will do. I will always repurchase it.

I don't wear a whole lot of full face make up, and when I do, I prefer to make it a very light coating. So this BB cream works well for me, it spreads easy and doesn't look chalky. I'm happy to keep using.

I went through about 4 of these when I first started using makeup and didn't want a full coverage look every day.

The product is quite thin and is a VERY light coverage, but if that's what you're after, this is good enough.

It did blur some imperfections, but of course being a light coverage it isn't going to completely cover any blemishes or dark circles.

The formula goes nicely onto the skin - I would just use a small amount and rub it in with my fingers. I have very dry skin but this product was quite moisturising as well and never went flaky on me.

Probably a nice starting product if you're still at school and want a little something on your face or if you're lucky enough to have perfect skin but just want to add a base!

This is a super light coverage BB cream. I like it but if you're looking for a BB cream which gives you some sort of coverage then this is not the one. It has quite a watery texture and I find that it doesn't really last throughout the day. However if you want something light and easy to pop on for on the go for a short period of time then this would be perfect

Unfortunately this is another product that over promises and under delivers. I liked that was oil-free and there’s something in it that makes it feel really refreshing to apply. But it didn’t adjust well to my skin tone, and no matter how well I tried to blend it I was always left with darker orangey bits by the end of the day, making it look cheap and tacky. I didn’t find it lived up to its other promises either. I had to pass it on hoping that a friend would have better luck with it, but I won’t be repurchasing or recommending this product.

Maybelline is a brand that I have more than one product from. I can find maybelline products anywhere I go shopping. I love bargain hunting at big bucket sales or $1 reserves on Trade me. I was luckily gifted this BB Cream in a medium shade.

This BB cream comes in a 30 ml tube. Its enough to last me a little while. When I open it up the BB cream comes out of it easily. It has a liquid lotion type texture to it. Its tinted in the specific colour that you pick. It has a slight scent to it too.

This BB cream claims to compliment skin tone, hydrate skin all day, blur imperfections, oil free and non greasy.

When I apllied it to my skin it covered my face ok. My blemishes were still visable. I applied a second layer but it looked too thick. Also the shade looked just a little bit too light on my skin. After wearing it for half a day I did notice it starting to slowly fade into a powder finish.

My results were covered skin. Had to re apply it a second time. My skin did not feel hydrated all day. It felt dried into a powder finish. There definately wasn't any oil or greasy feeling. I did enjoy the SPF30 in it. I had mixed feelings with this product.
