Sigma Dry n Shape Spa Good 4 Tapered Face Brushes

Being the brush junkie I am and using so many brushes every week like almost thirty. I wanted get this to secure my brushes so they could dry upside down, dry faster and take up much less space than if I were to lay them out flat on my dresser on a towel with the end rolled up. Now the model I have isn't the one pictured mine is this nice hot pink magenta. There are 8 big to medium sized rubber clasps (best description I can think of right now) at the top for holding the top handle of the brush on the top and directly underneath the clasps are black elastic loops to hold the brush heads in place while it dries to damp and also squeezing the water out. In the center at the top there are small clasps for holding the handles of the eye brushes. The Sigma Dry and Shape Spa comes apart into three pieces which make it convenient to store and functional. The top with the clasps is one piece, the part at the bottom the elastic loops is one and the part in the center has ridges, crisscross designs and raised bumps. The middle functions as a brush cleaning pad- you swirl and run your brushes over the bumps and lines to get all the makeup washed and rinsed out of your brushes. What a nifty little gadget, right? So why didn't I rate it higher? Because of the center top part for the eye brushes - it's harder to slide them into the clasps securely so they don't fall out and you can't use all ten of them because the clasp are positioned to face inward and some of the rubber clasp have to swish together tight to make space for the ones holding the brush handles. Once secured they're harder to get out when they dry which takes longer because they don't get hardly any air flow except from the top. The easiest brushes to slide into the clasps are ones with a hard, wooden, dome shaped, handle ends like the Sigma brushes. Which is fair since it was made to hold Sigma brushes. So that's a big con for me since I have a lot of Real Techniques brushes which don't easily snap or slide into the clasps without a lot of force that could blend the handles out of shape. Now the pros, it's a good three in one it fits any Sigma brush face brush or medium sized brush really well and takes up hardly any space. It squeezes the water out of the brush heads and holds them upside down so they dry quicker.

Tips: I've been able to use the 8 outer clasps with any brush in my collection because I can snap the handle into the clasp if I can't slide it in. This will mean that I might not be able to use the elastic loop to squeeze out the water but it can still hold the brush upside down securely and it's easy to pop it out of the clasp once it's dry. But here's where this gadget is amazing - if you have any tapered face brushes for highlighter or powder or blush/bronzer, contour, I personally have really liked the tapered ones for applying powder and highlighter and have a bunch. This is amazing for holding the brush hairs together in point so the brush doesn't dry splayed out and it keeps that taper. I just wait till the brush is more damp to slide it out of the elastic loop and it dries just as good new with a nice pointed tapered end. So would I recommend this? If you have a lot of tapered face brushes or maybe if you have a huge Sigma brush collection. If you are getting this for your eye brushes I would recommend getting a cheap brush tree off Alliexpress I bought one and that gets more use that this express Dry and Shape Spa.

I would recommend a cheap brush tree over this because it holds more brush heads especially eye brushes and getting some Brush Guards or some knock off brush guards to hold your tapered brushes together while they dry.
