I liked that you get the two in one ,the colours were nice and the crackle generally did what it was meant to do ! Though it was hard to stand up or balance the bottles when using, application was okay but they didn't last more than a few days, definitely buy on sale not full price !!
I bought this from the warehouse a couple of days ago as I just had to try it. It was rather confusing to open. It opened the opposite way to what I expected so I ended up spilling a fair bit and now my lid won't go back on one side as polish dried around the edges of the lid. It also isn't particularly great nail polish. I have far better nail polishes. I can't imagine buying this nail art again.
i brought a few of these a while back. i tried them...it chipped off almost instantly, i found the nail polish itself to be really quite a thick consistancy that didnt brush on very well and i also found that even tho i had the lids on quite tight the crackle colour end ended up drying up which dissapointed me..for such an expensive brand i was expecting more.
I brought two of these in a clearance sale and paid under $10 for them so I got a real bargain but I wasn't overly impressed , even for the cheep price. I got sucked in because I thought it was awesome that both of the polishes that I needed for the "cracked" effect were attached. I found the polish it self to be quite thick and gluggy and very hard to apply it evenly. Also because it was applied uneven it took different amounts of time for each part to dry which was quite annoying. It only lasted about 2 days before it started to chip (and I'm not very Harsh on my hands) . Over all I didn't like it and would probably only use it because I already had it, I wouldn't go out and buy more .
I purchased one of these polishes in 'killer instincts because the colour really appealed to me and I loved the fact that I should be able to mix and match the crackle with my other polishes plus it was on clearance and who doesnt love a good bargin? . However, when I applied it it was gluggy and really hard to apply. I could not get a smooth coat no matter how hard I tried. Eventually I made do with the substandard nail job I had given myself and set off for dinner with friends. I arrived at the restaurant and sat down and immediately noticed that my nail polish was chipping/peeling off. I have to say I was glad I hadn't paid the high RRP.
I always take my time to do my nails properly. I apply my nail polish to clean, dry, smooth nails with base and top coats. I have had nail polishes from the $2 shop that lasted better than this.
First time trying Revlons Nail Art. I got a galaxy themed nail Art. I also had my eye on a chalk board set too. I found it easy to apply. The nail laquer was a bit thick. It did take over 10 minutes for it to dry properly. The bottle is a cool idea to have two seperate colours. It lasted me about three days and then it started to chip away. I think the brush needs to be a bit thinner. I did enjoy the look of this nail polish but not its practicality. I think its pricey. It needs to come down in price because your not going to get a long lasting nail finish.
I love nailpolish so was quick to snap up a couple of these beauties when they were on sale. Fortunately all I bought was 2.
The concept is brilliant, and I like the tube packaging so makes keeping it in your purse nice and handy. Even though I kept them in the bathroom drawer, it wasn't long before one of them bent a little and leaked everywhere (grr!).
I found the base coat a lot to be desired, it took 2-3 coats to get a decent buildup of colour before I was ready to apply the crackle. The top coat did crackle, although not as effectively as other products I have used (OPI etc) so while it wasn't a bad look, it was a lot of time and effort for not a lot of payoff.
Tips: Keep them in a safe place as they're not that hardy - expect to apply at least 2 or 3 base coats to get a decent colour.
great idea having 2 matching colours in one. I have a black and glitter on the other end. love to paint black and then put glitter on one. very good black polish too
I have a few of these nail art dual ended nail enamels and I must say that they make painting nails a lot of fun. I purchased mine on sale and for the price I paid, I think the nail enamels are worth it. The quality is alright, it is not amazing and there are far better products out there. However, if you want something easy to use and if you want to have fun at it then go for these products.
Tips: Dry well between coats or else you'll have a mess on your hands
