Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review

I loved this foundation it went on smooth and easily and gave me awesome long lasting coverage. Will definitely use again

I have always found that Maybelline shades suit me perfectly (or should I say 'fit me' perfectly). This foundation gives me a medium coverage which I like but I do find myself having to reapply part way through the day. It is really great value for money and can be bought at the supermarket which is how I first discovered it after I foolishly forgot my foundation while away on holiday! (Rookie mistake... but turned out to be a positive!)

I like the size and shape of the bottle. Its easy to see you get alot in there.Unfortunately there's no pump with this one. Its also always good knowing your foundation has some spf in it and that your face is getting some protection.

When applying the foundation I found the consistency to be quite runny and streaky when using my brush. Using my fingers seemed to blend it alot better but in saying that I dont like using my fingers to apply my foundation so it was more of a loss for me. The coverage was light to medium and wasn't too heavy but I found it to be sticky once applied and I had trouble with it setting. Even with a setting powder I found the foundation still moves and transfers onto clothing very easily . By the end of the day most of the foundation was gone and what was left was an oily mess. For that price I could get alot better.

So the answer for me is no, it does not fit me.

Maybelline usually have some fantastic products, but this one was a bit of a let down. I matched the product using the match sheet and purchased the one which supposedly matched my skin tone, only to use it and find that it wasnt the right colour, it was a little too orange and the shade down too light. The coverage is initially good, but as the day wears on I find that it tends to slide... not really suitable for oilier skin types. I also found it didnt provide very good coverage for blemishes. I personally hate feeling like my makeup is caked on, but I still like a solid long lasting coverage and this one just didn't fit that for me.

This foundation gives good coverage. It does the job alright. Im just not a big fan of the packaging though. I spilt mine a couple of times already because I find the opening a bit big. I wish it was in a pump bottle or something. I will not repurchase just because of the packaging.

Definitely a great foundation for it's price and you can buy it in most places. First I had got the wrong tone but I mix it with another one of my foundations and it looks great but I finally got one that fits

I'm so sad that this foundation doesnt come in a shade pale enough for me ! it has really good coverage and doesn't cake or slide over time. It just doesnt come light enough

This is the best foundation I have tried from the supermarket, it blends really well and stays on for hours. Would highly recommend!!!!

I found this product to have light to medium coverage but didnt feel heavy on the skin and it was really easy to match to my skin tone.

The thing I dislike about purchasing Maybelline foundations is that they often do not have available testers to try the colours. I took a risk choosing my colour, which turned out to be a pretty good guess! I got mine on special from Framers during a sale.

The bottle is really classy looking considering it is a very affordable product. I am unsure if I liked the fact that it was just a screw top foundation with no pump, but can see how it would be more beneficial and economic as traditional pump foundations can make you lose quite a bit of product near the bottom,when you can easily scoop out the remains from the screw top bottles, such as this one.

The consistency was really nice and velvety and the coverage was medium but buildable, however I did find this one oxidised quite quickly on my skin and became a bit orangey.

On a tight budget, it is worth trying as a little goes a long way with this one, however I'm just not 100% convinced I would use it again as I don;t believe it was completely right for me.
