Love these!!!

I recieved a dozen wet n wild lippies off beautyjoint the matte formula is not drying at all i use a lip liner under mine to get a crisp finish but they are fine with out a liner aswell, the packaging could be improved but for $3 you cant complain :) the colour pay off is amazinggggg they last the entire day, with eating drinking ect ect without wearing off

i quite like the style of packaging for a cheap lippy, they have some pretty sweet colours with alot of dupes for mac colours.

my new faves!

some of my favourite colours are ravin raisin vamp it up think pink and bare it all About to finish off my collection xx

Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last Lip Color

I brought two shades of these online. I had heard nothing but positive things about them. They have a semi-matte finish to them. Shades i own are: 'Dollhouse Pink' and 'Think Pink' Both shades are super pigmented and last a long time on the lip for a drug store lipstick.

The packaging for these are super simple. With a black twist up base with a clear lid making it easier for see what shade the lipstick is, as the all the packaging for every lipstick is the same.

DOLLHOUSE PINK: This shade is a bright candy pink colour. Super bright and defiantly a statement colour for some. Alot of people would consider this colour a dupe for MAC's 'Saint Germain' though I do think this shade is a little darker than Saint Germain. This colour drys super nicely and gives off a nice semi-matte finish which I love. I tend to keep this one for special occasions or a night out kind of colour. This colour is super beautiful and must have for every make up collection I think.

THINK PINK: This is a lighter pinky orange shade. This lipstick would be one of my most used lipsticks in my collection I love the creamy soft application and how pigmented it looks on the lips. This shade looks really nice in the summer time as its a really bright colour. Can be a bit drying on the lip but using a lip primer before hand for the best results.

I purchased both of these from Beautyjoint. Super affordable and I would say well worth the money. Though the packaging is a bit cheap. Still a great product. I will be defiantly adding more shades from this line to my collection.

Tips: Use a lip balm or lip primer before applying as these are semi-matte lipsticks and can be drying.

Stunning colours but unforgiving

I bought two of these lippies online after hearing great things about them and wanting to add some different shades of colour into my lippy collection.

I have this in 'Dollhouse Pink', which is a super bold and bright candy pink, and 'Purty Persimmon' which is a reddy orange shade unlike any I currently have that looks great with a tan.

The packaging is pretty cheap but with such a cheap price point it isn't suprising. I found the plastic lid doesn't stay on that securely so something to watch when you pop it in your bag for touch-ups.

The colours are sooo bold and pigmented and I was really excited when I felt how creamy they applied to my lips. Unfortunately I found these lippies were incredibly unforgiving to any lip imperfections. You really need to ensure your lips are in great condition otherwise they highlight any dry skin, sinking into lip lines and flaking.

In terms of lastability, I do find they last a few hours on your lips although you do get that wearing off of colour in the centre with eating or drinking, so I would suggest reapplying afterwards.

For the price I probably would purchase this in other colours but would only apply them when I was planning on wearing them for a short period of time where I could reapply to keep the colour fresh.

Tips: Make sure your lips are in good condition as these can be drying. Exfolliate first and apply a lip balm, wait for it to sink in, then apply the lip colour for best results.

Big fan!

I must say, I am super glad I purchased one of these in my last online beauty haul. I got 'Dollhouse Pink' which is a gorgeous pastel pink, similar to Lime Crime 'My Pink Planet'. I love it! Is a little bit drying and the application wasn't the easiest in my opinion. They look a little bit cheap, with the pricetag to match but overall, they have a huge color selection and being matte, the staying power was not what I expected. I've just purchased a few more! Dollhouse is my new go to bright lippy!

Tips: I would suggest using a Lip Primer first.

Probably my most fave lippy ever!

I love these lipsticks so much. I have 3 different shades. Just Peachy, a beautiful nude peachy/pink colour. I've heard this is also a great dupe for Limecrime's Babette. Dollhouse pink is a bright pink color, a cool toned pink (I think anyway!). I bought this after reading that it was a dupe for Lime Crime's Great pink Planet. I have that lipstick as well and have to say that it really is a great match! The other colour I have is Pinkerbell, a bright pink also but more of a hot pink colour with maybe a slight coral hint to it.

I love how these last on my lips. It wears evenly when I'm eating and drinking and doesn't leave an ugly ring outside of my lips. The colour payoff is intense, they are very opaque and quite true to what it looks like in the tube. They are slightly drying but not too bad.

The packaging isn't the fanciest, it's a very basic black tube with a clear lid. This does make it easy to instantly see what colour lipstick it is though and the lids fit snugly so they don't fall off in your handbag etc.

I buy mine off Beauty Joint, they work out to be just under $4 each so a real bargain. I've misplaced my peach one but because it's so cheap it doesn't bother me to have to buy a new one although I'm sure it's lurking in my house somewhere! I totally recommend these lipsticks especially if you want great colour without breaking the bank!

love me some matte

Now if you are not into dry lipsticks this probably isn't for you, although you could add lip balm and a gloss over top. Back to the lipstick itself. The mega last matte lipsticks range comes in 26 beautiful colours, a perfect variety for every skin tone. Colours range from hues of brown to pinks red orange and purple. The colour pay off is awesome so pigmented and creamy when applying and besides when you eat the colour lasts really well. for $4 you can't really go wrong with these lipsticks. They have great dupes of Mac lipsticks (cherry bomb - Mac diva, vamp it up - cyber, think pink- creme cup etc etc) the only thing I don't like about it is the packaging. The lipsticks don't go right Into the tube so when you put the lid on lipstick gets all over the lid so looks quite messy. Even though their packaging is crap I would prefer crap packaging and a great product as opposed to great packaging and crap product.

In love!

Just had 8 shades of these delivered to my door this morning. I was a bit vary because of the price tag - I'm always concerned with the ingredients used in cheap cosmetics and the damage they can do. But I've heard that wetnwild is a very good, trusted brand.

They are very opaque in colour, and very vivid and matter. They last all day, but will need a touch up after drinking and eating.

A few pointers and notes to be aware of.. I dislike that it's drying on the lips, so you will need a primer and a balm before or after using the lipstick. I also found that they are hard to pull across the lips, and hardly any colour came out in the first stroke - that may however be due to the fact that it was the first time I used the lipsticks. The packaging is also very cheap. But functional. The lips are see-through which I dislike, they get dirty and stained with the lipstick easily.

The contents of each lipstick is also different. I noticed that rolled down to the very bottom, and lined up all together, some tubes had more in it than other tubes. The lids are also someone difficult to take off, or can slide off.

There is definitely inconsistencies between each product. But it does the job, a very good opaque lipstick, and I LOVE the price tag.

Tips: Prime, prime, prime

Great and affordable!

I bought three of the wet n wild megalast matte lip covers a while ago now I'm the colours coralline, purty persimmon and sugar plum fairy. These lipsticks are my go to bright lipsticks!! They are definitely a matte finish and last all day. I only have two little negatives, the packaging is very cheap and gets dirty quickly and they are a bit too drying. I always exfoliate and then moisturise my lips before hand and this helps solving the drying feeling. Definitely getting more colours!! Great quality for the incredibly cheap price!!!

Tips: Exfoliate and moisture lips before applying
