Holy Grail Lipstick

I have this lipstick in 9 different shades & all of them are phenomenal. I purchased mine from beautyjoint.com ($3.30 each NZ$!)

Cherry Picking - Dupe for MAC Love Goddess. This is my favourite of all the shades I have & it is AMAZING. It's a deep berry red & it is so flattering on my skin tone (pale with neutral undertones)

Sugar Plum Fairy - Dupe for MAC Rebel This is a deep plum/berry shade that comes off on a bare lip as almost a dark purple. I love this shade for a night out and it pairs well will a light smokey eye. Beautiful!

Cherry Bomb - Dupe for MAC Diva This is a very dark & intense brown/plum shade, beautiful with flawless foundation & natural eye make up. Would look really nice with a white top/dress.

Don't Blink Pink This is a medium blue toned pink. It's very very bright yet it's not neon. Perfect for summer or when you want a "pop" of colour.

Purty Persimmon - Dupe for Mac Sail La Vie This is a coral red/orange shade that is simply gorgeous! It is the perfect shade for a sailor inspired look (think navy, white & red).

Smokin' Hot Pink This is my favourite "everyday" shade. It's a medium cool toned pink that isn't too bright and isn't too dark. It goes well with every style of make up & matches all of my outfits. The perfect pink!

Red Velvet - Dupe for MAC Russian Red This is a warm, bright "cherry red" yet it is blue based & would flatter many different skin tones, a great classic bright red shade.

Coral-ine This is a rich red/orange tone, I've only worn this colour once but it's very pretty, I need to use it more often and step out of my red/plum comfort zone!

Think Pink - Dupe for MAC Creme Cup This is the only shade that I don't use, it doesn't suit me & makes me look washed out. It's a gorgeous pale creamy pink that would be perfect for those who love a "nude pink" lip.

I plan on buying all the remaining shades of these lipsticks at some stage soon as I really cannot get enough! The formula is beautiful & very long lasting & the colours are simply perfect. So in love!

Tips: Always use a lip liner to prevent bleeding as these are very opaque & creamy

A must have product!

These lippy's are fantastic. I did my usual exfoliate and lip balm routine prior to application, my lips are extra sensitive to drying out. This went on so smoothly, and WOW the pigmentation was amazing. The colour was so bright, and the texture was surprisingly creamy for a matte lipstick. It looked and felt like a high end lipstick.

Now for the staying power, this just doesn't budge. It's fantastic, I can go for a run on the beach, eat, drink, and still hours later it's almost as perfect as when I first put it on. During a day/night I would need 3-4 touch ups max!

All in all these lipsticks are phenomenal for the price. I highly recommend them, they look gorgeous, feel pretty darn good for a matte lipstick, and the stay on forever! If you haven't bought them already, do it, you will not regret it!

Tips: Exfoliate your lips and apply lip balm before you apply your makeup and put on your lipstick last. Just so your lips look smooth and don't dry out :)

Kiss me

If you are anything like me and lip products are your main investment then these will rock your socks off. These lipsticks are truly amazing, like seriously I can't express this is words. If you don't have any of these I suggest you add some to your collection and quick, great amount of shades and some amazing high end dupes. Long lasting without reapplying can last all day and feels great on. For the price you cant go wrong.

Tips: If you do find that you have dry lips, exfoliate first and you can also use a balm underneath these.

Awesome cheap product

I have 3 of these colours and I am going to get more! I have the colours cherry bomb, dollhouse pink and pinkerbell. These are very very pigmented, moderate lasting (rubs off if you eat) Matte formula a little bit drying (if you don't like that this product is not for you)

The range is pretty big and has a few dupes for higher end products.

Overall these are really awesome I will definitely buy more. Go get you some!!

Tips: You can get these from sites such as beautyjoint

Dupe for Mac

This is a good dupe for MAC Cosmetics' matte lipstick. The colors are so pigmented and the formula is not drying my lips, unlike the other affordable lipsticks that I've tried.

The only downside is it's not as long lasting as my MAC matte lipsticks, but with the price? I would surely love to get all the colors out in the market.

Doesn't last long and is patchy at best

I bought this after reading really good reviews.

It's not the greatest lipstick I've ever used, and the only way to make it last is if you exfoliate first (because this, for some reason, shows up any imperfections you have in your lips) and rubs off very quickly.

The consistency is very creamy which is nice, but you'd have to reapply constantly to ensure you keep the colour.

Not the best!

I have this in pinkerbell which is a bright pink. Like previous reviewer says, it will bring up any imperfections so you need to exfoliate. It's probably the hardest lipstick I own to apply as it's a very dry formula. It's hard to get a nice smooth application, I tend to have to apply then pat it in with a finger. Not a lippy I'd recommend unfortunately.

Fabulous colour but very dry

I have this lipstick in Pinkerbell. The colour is densely pigmented and fabulous! Pinkerbell is Wet n Wild's version of MAC's VIVA GLAM Nicki Lipstick and the colour is very close. As for the formula, it's very, very dry. My lips get dried out and flaky really quickly in this and I can't wear it alone, although the colour does leave a nice tint that lasts ages. I only paid $6.99 for mine so I can't complain and I still love the colour when used with other products but I wouldn't re-purchase.

Tips: This can be fab used on smooth lips if you use a lipbalm first and then a moisturising gloss over top.

Good, low priced lippy

I have about 4 of these and think they are great for what they are. They are so inexpensive to buy especially online you can pick them up for a couple of dollars. They are extremely drying on the lips though, which is not great as my lips do tend to be dry. They also aren't very smooth to apply and sort of drag across the lip. As I said though, great lippy if you like long wearing and a tiny price tag.

Tips: Wear a balm underneath and on top to avoid lips drying out too much. Also the shade Pinkerbell is a great dupe for Lime Crimes' Geradium and Mac's Viva Glam Nicki lipsticks.

Cheap way to try a matte lip

Bare It all is my fave shade in this line that I have tried so far - a peachy warm toned flesh toned nude which looks super chic. I also have tried Pink Suga which was a disaster on me - totally neon yellow based peach with not a trace of pink whatsoever. I also have Cherry bomb which is a deep vampy black cherry red and Cinnamon spice - a deep vampy brick red (very good neutral red). These are lovely shades and I cannot fault the shades or formula other than that they are a tad drying but so are matte lipsticks. The only concern I have which makes these a 3/5 for me is how often I have problems with these sticking to my teeth - I am constantly on the lookout to make sure this doesn't happen. Bare it all seems to be the worst offender but the deeper shades are still of concern and I am always worried about this issue when wearing them. Overall I personally would rather buy more expensive matte lipsticks which hold up better, but these are great value and a great way to try new shades in a matte formula.

Tips: Very matte and prone to sticking to teeth - so make sure to exfoliate and lightly moisturise before applying and also remove any remains from inside the lip to avoid dreaded lipstick on the teeth.
