MAC Lipstick Review

So I have a few MAC lipsticks and pretty much all of them I love. I especially love the amplified and matte formulas. The lipsticks are super butter and soft when I applied to the lips. The lipsticks have a slight scent of vanilla which I like. The packaging is super slick and is good quality. These lipsticks last a good amount of time. However, does need to be re applied after eating and drinking alot of fluids. MAC lipsticks come in many formula variations and colours which is amazing. Overall love this product.

I've always been told about the famous "Mac lipsticks" but I honestly didn't know what all of the hype was about until I purchased my own! I have Spirit which is a beautiful nude/brown satin finish lippy and Viva Glam II which is a very wearable nude. I am so so impressed with the packaging, formula and appearance of my mac lipsticks and I will definitely be purchasing more to add to my collection!

I have dreamed of owning everything and anything made my MAC I always look up their new collections that they birng out and dream away..

I have never had the courage to spend over $40.00NZD on any product let alone something from MAC.

I recently stumbled on a website called ship it to.

The website allows you to purchase produts on America where it is then fordwarded to an American address before getting shipped out to you.

Perfect! I ended up just being a plane jane and ordering two lipsticks heroine and velvet teddy as I wasn't too sure how much the package would cost me if I got more products.

I got them from the website nordstrom where the lipsticks are $16.00USD ($22.00NZD)

When at the warehouse the package is weighed and then decided on how much it will cost to ship to your country for me it ended up being only $10.00USD so pretty cheap for my liking.

The only bad thing is my lipsticks were sent in a huge box from nordstroms if it was a little smaller I feel the shipping may have been cheaper.

I am so stoked with my new purchases and it came with three free samples so I am one very satsfiyed customer.

So I love Mac products (of course) and it was no surprise to me that the lipsticks are amazing. Nice colour range too choose from. The lipstick itself smells really nice (like vanilla butter in my opinion) nice creamy texture and the matte ones aren't too drying. I would however recommend a lip liner whole wearing it, just to help it last longer and also to get that perfect line (I always over draw my lips while doing looks, but please note as I am a male I don't wear lipstick all day everyday) my favourites from the lipstick range would have to be "stone, whirl, velvet teddy and girl about town" all ready nice shades.

I love all of MACS products but their lipsticks are amazing, I love how the matte lipsticks do not dry your lips out and is long lasting. Mac lipsticks have such a variety in shades and colours there is one for every occasion. They are perfection

As a redhead, I thought I'd never be able to find a red that looked good on me. Until I went to a mac counter and got matched. I brought Ruby Woo, a matte red which suits me perfectly, bringing out my complexion and blue eyes. It's truly long lasting, incredibly matte and pigmented, and has a pleasant vanilla smell. My only issue with this lipstick was that it seemed to "pill" creating little balls like a wool sweater, or damp paper that's been rubbed. I suppose this is probably because of it's mattness, because it's not slippery or very soft it rolls rather than slides with friction. It's easily fixed though, i just lightly wipe of the pills with a tissue before applying.

Ruby Woo? Taylor Swift's favorite lipstick?

I don't usually buy a lot of lipstick especially when they're this expensive. But then I heard a lot of great reviews about this "Ruby Woo" shade and I heard that a lot of celebrities also use it like Taylor Swift.

I went out and bought it and wore it quite a few times on evening dates and it went well with my red play-suit and red sunnies during the day on sunny days.

I LOVEEEEE THIS LIPSTICK!!! It's quality is aMaZiNg!!!! And it lasts and doesnt melt and looks great and feels great and it's like a dream come true!!!!!

But for me I think it's gonna be a bit more of a treat lipstick because of it's price. By that I mean that I won't buy it again and stick to my affordable lipsticks. So I hope it doesn't run out and I only use it on special occasions now to try save it because I know I won't be buying it again for a while.

But overall this is my high end lipstick and I LOVE IT!!!

Applies really easily, nice scent/smell and longwearing. I have velvet teddy, shanghai spice and a viva glam lipstick and they have all been amazing!

I am addicted to nudes (the lipstick!!) and so I saw the shade Honey Love which is a matte nude and had to have it.

It's safe to say that these lipsticks are tried and tested, great products. You can purchase these assured that you're getting a good quality product.

Honey Love was pigmented, it was so creamy to apply that I second guessed it was actually matte, but alas it most certainly dried matte.

My only downside for this product was I felt as though it didn't have the longevity that I expected but it certainly wasn't something that would stop me from purchasing it over and over again!
