Having already a few mac lipsticks, i feel they are highly pigmented and and very vibrant on the lips. They do not dry out the lips and will not wear out throughout the day. For 40.00 i feel it is a product that is worth the price. Also they have an exceptional range of colours from morange to rebel to even nudes, dark tones and bright tones. It is definetly worth a purchase if you want highend lipsticks :). I know because i own rebel and morange and think they are just simply awesome.

MAC lipsticks have always been my favourite. They come in such a range of colour and finishes (some better than the other) but it's such a variety for people with every skin tone.
Tips: Some matte and retro matte lipsticks may need a primer before hand
I do think MAC is very expensive, however all products in the entire range that I have ever used, are far superior to other make up brands. The MAC lipsticks (I have tried satin and Cremesheen Pearl) are fab! Long wear, beautiful colour and doesnt rub off onto clothing, cups and hands. Feels nice on the lips too. And who doesnt like pulling out the MAC brand from their make up bay anyway?!
Tips: I dont have any, but would love to someone to tell me how I can wear MAC without paying full price!!!
I have recently become a proud owner of a MAC lipstick. Yes its taken me a while as the price of them has put me off but after seeing eveyone rave about them and learning about the color Craving I knew I had to try at least one.
The color is amazing but the lipstick is so buttery it feels amazing on my lips. The staying power isn't bad but I had hoped it would last a little bit longer but it is so mositurising on my lips I can't expect it to.
Can't wait to get a few more as theres more colors jumping out to me each time I look.
I currently own three MAC lipsticks, fanfare, rebel and sin. I love the formulas and find they actually do last nicely, especially since I save them for going out so they are quite durable. They can be a bit pricey but I think it's totally worth it!
Tips: Take the plunge and buy one!
I just got my first two to see how they go. I've got Kinda Sexy which has become my staple nude/ apricot for a finished look that's not too extreme. And I've got Russian Red, which is a bold red carpet red.
The colours are definitely gorgeous. If I could take every colour home I'm sure I would try every colour in turn! Oh how I wish I had more $$!
I love the matte finish! It makes it feel more secure!
The only thing that I'm looking for again and again in lippy is staying power. It's definitely gone as soon as you take a sip of wine or eat something. But then again, no lippy has given me everything I want in this regard. Any tips would be so appreciated!
Never have I had something so luxurious and elegant in the palm of my hand and it's all thanks to a lovely BR babe who allowed me to join the MAC Club. I am in awe of those who own a stock pile of these beauties in a tube. It would never have found it's way in to my hand because of the cost and my limited budget. The tube is uniquely MAC and I can instinctively point out a MAC lipstick from metres away. It has that curved top and that full black tube which makes it chic and fashionable no matter what trends come in or back in I should say.
The magic appears when you open that bad boy and wind up that highly pigmented bit of goodness. I smelt it first and oh what a heavenly sweet smell. It doesn't give off that yuck chemical smell that cheaper brands do. Next comes the gliding it on my lips and that is just as heavenly. The velvety smooth feeling and the effortless way it just goes on. I don't even have to gloss up afterwards because it's neither matte nor gloss it's in the middle and suits me perfectly. I love how it doesn't dry my lips out and it keeps them nourished and supple all day long. I had to reapply twice in the five hours I was out and oh what a time and product savior that is. I usually find myself reapplying at least 5 times in five hours with other lipsticks but not MAC. I am so happy to finally be a part of this club and vow to buy more in all of my favourite colours.....swoon.
Tips: Use a great lip scrub to keep those kissers smooth for a smooth application
Love mac lipstick!!! Stays on for a good while.doesn't smear as much! Very pretty shades as well. Also very affordable prices .
After wanting a Mac lippie for so long I finally decided to go for it. Absolutely no regrets.
The packaging is so simple and sleek. It has the yummiest smell and the texture is creamy and feels quite moisturizing, applies easily and smoothly.
I wear this to work and even with drinking coffee it last half the day with a bit of fade. The fade isn't bad, it tends to fade evenly and doesn't look patchy at all. I will either apply a clear gloss and re-apply just a little after lunch.
It doesn't feel like it dries out my lips, but I do apply a balm before applying anyway.
Cannot wait till my collection grows bigger
Tips: If you are buying online and you are unsure if you have a fake there is a brilliant you tube video you can watch that shows you what to look for.
A lipstick I do love and have a few colours, 1 I have is the same colour as a lime crime lipstick I have too but I prefer the Mac as it's not as creamy and if your anything like me and seem to rub lips a lot due to the creamy texture a lot then Mac is the way to go. I was disappointed in 1 colour for not having the pigmentation or build up but was a collection lipstick and it's still ok just don't wear it much. They are amazing though and worth the price at the end of the day.
