MAC Lipstick Review

these lipsticks are really nice. they're definitely worth the price point, even if it does hurt the bank.

i have a few shades, a glittery red and some nudey pinky/mauvey types. they're not matte so the staying power isnt blow your face off good but the red lasts a while (until eating and even then it leaves a light staining).

the packaging is simple, elegant. i know how to use it, so bonus. id definitely buy more! id prefer mini sizes (THEYRE SO CUTE!) but i can deal with the bigger ones if its a shade i often wear.

I don't know what it is, but there is just something so appealing about MAC lipsticks. Is it the brand? The packaging? The color range? The quality? For me I think it's a mixture of these things. When I buy MAC I know I am receiving a product which is loved world-wide and there's something so securing in that fact. The color range is one of my favorite things, and probably the worst thing.. as there is just too much to chose from! The Matte range is truly matte, the glaze, a glittery glaze, you actually get exactly what is advertised. My only con with MAC lipsticks is I find they don't have the best staying power, but in saying that, they are such a nice creamy consistency that I don't mind having to re-apply.

I only recently got into mac lipstick and i love them although they are on the pricey-er end i think they are amazing quality and well worth the money. I have 5 in varying formulas and my favourite would probably be lustres although cremesheens are amazing for a little bit more pigmentations and staying power. They are also amazingly pigmented, and if you want your lipstick to pack a little extra punch i would definitely go for and amplified cremesheen as they are extra pigmented.

The MAC lipsticks are known for their amazing pigment. I am in love with their super bright and creamy texture. I do find them to be a bit messy though, easily smudgable and they don't really last too well on me.

Very expensive for what it is (I know so many other brands I would prefer with the same intensity just due to the price difference). However, I have to say that the taste is very pleasant for these, very non-lipsticky tasting (almost like a vanilla taste)!

My current faves of the moment: Cyber, Saint Germain, and Morange

This is great lippy. It really stays on with minimal reapplying. Only con is its price. I love lots of colours and with these I am limited to only a couple as they are so expensive! Otherwise great though

Mac have the best products ive ever used! I very rarely use makeup but when i do i like to look like i know what im doing, and using mac is the perfect way to do it. I love all there products inc the lippies, with a little gloss it looks fabulous.

I have only one MAC lipstick due to their price here in NZ (around $40 in NZ, $15 in the USA). However, I really love it. The colour is Syrup, and it's a cream style lipstick. It goes on very smoothly, and has a very good staying power for something that isn't matte. I really like it, but I won't be rushing out to amass a large collection when there are pretty decent lipsticks around the $20 mark available.

These lipsticks are quite pricey in my opinion but they are really good. They feel great on your lips, look good and are long lasting. Very good quality lipsticks.

I LOVE mac lipsticks, especially the matte formula, they literally last all day (as long as I'm not feasting like a queen), and make my lips so soft. Often matte lipstick have the tendency to leave my lips feeling as if I've been munching on dry weatbix, it's not flattering! But I've never had this is with any MAC ones WOO! I highly recommend you ladies get out there and shout yourself one, they are expensive but you don't need to reapply them 1000x a night, so you do get your bux worth!

I have a couple of tried and true shades that I love. My fav is Amplified Impassioned. It's such a stunning creamy bold pink, goes on and stays on like a dream. I purchased a handful of shades in the states and the price difference is catastrophic so it is a little bit soul destroying paying as much as we do here - however in saying that i wholeheartedly believe it is worth the extra money. I'd be hard pressed to choose between MAC and Limecrime.
