MAC Lipstick Review

I was so nervous walking out of the MAC counter with this shade, it's extremely 'out there' and something I would never usually go for!

The finish is Matte, although slightly drying, not unbearable at all - I usually just wear a lipbalm underneath.

The colour is literally the most gorgeous vibrant bright pink ever! Definiently stands out and gives me a lot more confidence (which I expected it to do the exact opposite). This lipstick has amazing lasting power also.

I have blue eyes and fair skin and it complements them both perfectly. Also with such a bright lip you can go lighter on the eye make up and look perfectly put together :)

I never fully understood what people meant when they only ever used MAC lipsticks until I tried them for myself. I will never use another product again. The colour lasts way longer than most other lipsticks and in that it is great value for money. They smell luscious and are packaged in sleek black packaging. There is always a tone of colour for everyone, especially when colour is matched by one of the people instore. They are easy to apply and my lips never dry out. I will keep on buying these time and time again.

i have the matte mac lipstick in cyber and though i feel uncomfortable wearing such dark colour normally find this lipstick incredibly wearable. when worn with lipliner it lasts hours before having to be reapplied. its staying power is really something special. it is a very moisturising formula and does not dry out my lips at all. overall an extremely good lipstick and well worth the price.

Im newly converted to Mac lipstick but now I am a true lover. What I love most about Mac lipsticks is they stay on for hours. First one I tried was Lady Danger and hours later caught my reflection and was shocked. Was not expecting my lipstick to look like it had just been applied. Since then ive invested in a few others as the shades available are awesome. I use full sized for my self and sample size in my kit.

Little bit pricey, but the fact that you can get a free one when returning six empty MAC containers? Quite reasonable if you use other MAC products as well. The lipsticks that you can claim on the return of your empty containers are great staples for your collection so it's well worth it.

In terms of staying power/pigmentation and range of colours MAC is by far my favourite, I currently own; Girl Next Door, Ruby Woo, Rihanna 2, Up the Amp, Fanfare, Creme Cup, Royal Ball, and Cyber.

MAC lipsticks. Come to mama!!!! I have a very small collection at the moment, mainly made up of very bright colours but I hope to expand in the near future. Jesus they're so pigmented and last aaaages on my lips. Even when I'm eating, while the top layer will come off there is still some colour on my lips. It fades very gracefully too which I'm always thankful for since I'm lazy and I can never be bothered to touch up. The different finishes are great and the varieties of colour offered by MAC is unbelievable. No actually it is believable because it's MAC. My favourite finishes are Amplified and Cremesheen

I have two MAC lipsticks at the moment - Vegas Volt (amplified creme), a 'full powered coral' and Rebel, (satin), a 'midtonal cream plum'. I have these two as I love coral/orange lips on me (I have olive skin), and I wanted something more dramatic and Rebel seems to look gorgeous on everyone.

Application is easy, I apply straight from the bullet. I don't usually line my lips, but layering Rebel with a darker lipliner really amps up and darkens the colour.

Vegas Volt lasts well on me, though not as well as Rebel, which lasts all night without a touch up if necessary, providing it is blotted first. It can be a little drying though. I would reapplying after eating however.

In short, the shade range is unbeatable, with great varied finishes and I intend to add to my collection very soon.

These are iconic for a reason! I love MAC lippies. They last forever on my lips and the colours are gorgeous. I feel luxurious when I wear them. I only have 2 and that is down to price and price alone. I have to choose very carefully because that is a lot to pay for one lippie. I own Impassioned which is a pretty neon watermelon and Sushi Kiss which is a bright peachy coral. I grab for Sushi Kiss more often and I love it. I also love the smell of MAC lipsticks, that slight vanilla type scent. Can't go wrong with a MAC lipstick!!

these are some of my favourite lipsticks. They have a great range of finishes and colours, my favourite are definitely the satins, retro mattes and mattes. I have quite a few of these and my top three would be all fired up, twig and kinda sexy. The matte formula is slightly drying but it makes up for it in longevity. These lipsticks are definitely iconic.
