Essence Draw the Line! Instant Colour Lipliner Review

These lip liners are so good the glide on nice and creamy but not too creamy that they smudge around the colours are good nice and precise and these are so affordable its crazy how good these are for being so low in price.

I'm sick of my lip looks bleeding so thought i'd give these lip liners a go. I like the packaging. Slick looking, the shade colour on 2/3 of the pencil with a slanted black lid. The colour is an accurate depiction of the real shade inside. This makes it easier to select and compare the right colour that I need without opening it up.

I have two colours in this line. One applies a bit crumbly while the other applies nice and creamy.Not sure which one is a more accurate reflection of the quality but I definitely prefer a creamy formula.

There is an inbuilt sharpener at the bottom of the pencil. As yet I have not figured out how to use it. The couple of times that I have used it I haven't noticed any difference. It is a windup automatic pencil and the tip of the pencil actually hits the sharpener and blocks the product from getting sharpened.

Aside from that, it applies easily and is easy to use. I wish I used lip liners a lot sooner. My lip looks more finished. These are very affordable and despite the hit and miss on the formula I would still repurchase these in future.

I purchased the red shade of these "draw the line" lip liners from Essence, cost just over $3.00 which is such a bargain for a good lip liner. I really enjoy this product, their pencil liners are average in terms of wear and longevity but these new ones are brilliant. Super pigmented and wear very well, they stay put for a good few hours and through drinking - but not when eating. Hope they release more shades soon.

I just love this lipliner, i have bought more than 6 of them, and for $3 they are just magic, They glide on easily, have a great range of colours , and for the price i think they are perfect. i have bought $40 lipliners that don't do as good a job. I use the pink shade every day, it seems to go with most of my lipsticks. I have one in my bag and in my makeup drawer all the time, coz at $3 you can afford to . I really like the essence range, for the price its just amazing, every time i go to Farmers i try something different in the range. And i haven't been disappointed yet.
