Revlon Colorburst Lip Gloss Review

I usually don't like very glossy lipglosses so this lipgloss was perfect for me. Plenty of colour (I had I think the shade strawberry), some gloss and the applicator was easy to apply. I also quite liked the quilted pattern at the top. The squarish shape also make it easy to hold in my hand

I'm not normally one for lip gloss but this one really stood out to me.

I brought this in the shade 018 Fire, It really stood out to me when I was walking past and I love Revlon products so I was interested to see how great this would be.

Im more of a lipstick girl as one thing I really dont like about lip glosses is how sticky they are. The formula of this gloss is not sticky which is a big upside! With one application my lips were instantly fuller and the colour just made my lips POP! I love the formula, It is a wee bit transferable but that comes with wearing lip gloss. The colour is so opaque and vibrant. I really love this gloss and its one I regularly wear.

If your after a non sticky lipgloss with a pop of colour I fully recommend this gem.

I love lip glosses they are by far my favourite lip product, I think mainly because my skinny lil lips suit glosses better, so when I saw this for $5 at Farmers I couldn't resist.

I picked this up in the shade 'fire' it's a very bright vibrant red. I normally hate reds but I thought I may as well give it a try since it was super cheap. The clear tube is great as you can see exactly the colour of it and the black lid looks great with a quilted pattern around it.

Inside the long tube is a long applicator, it has a slightly flat looking doe foot applicator, which makes it very easy to apply this gloss.

I apply 2 coats and wowsers it's so divine to apply, it's so silky and smooth, it applies evenly I think formula wise it has to be one of the best ones out there. Now to the colour, yip it's bright red, very red. I do like it but not sure its the best colour for my thin lips, or I'm not used to the bright colours on my face. This gloss stays on for several hours before I need to reapply, it doesn't really stain your lips either. The only minor is it does bleed a bit.

I really want to buy more of these lip glosses in more subtle colours as I do love the formula of them and the ease of applying it.

I picked this up at a sale and loved it so much that I went back and purchased another product in a different colour. I love the design on the lid of the container. I have lilac crystal coloured lip gloss that I wear alone and a glossy glittery one that I wear on top of lipstick and I love how quickly this stuff softens my lips and makes them look glossy and beautiful without melting all over my lips like other products tend to.

In my opinion Revlon does the best drugstore lip products. From the colorburst matte balms, to the lip lacquers and colorburst lip glosses. I have two of the colours. One is a bright red and one is a pinky nude, two completely different colours but essentials to anyone's lip gloss collection. They are both very pigment and glossy and last on my lips for a very long time. They have a big of tackiness to them so they aren't slippery and won't slide off your lips, which is very important especially for the red lip gloss. They are easy to apply and don't dry out the lips. You can wear them alone of over lipstick to give a super glossy effect. I like to wear them by them self because they are super pigment so I find that you don't need a lipstick underneath.

Loved this gloss ! Was my favourite !! Really need to replace . Easy to apply, nice shines look, tasted nice, easy to open and close container!! I miss this product I used it right to the last drop !!

This is a cute tube with a nice quilted design on the lid and nice stick applicator with a wee flat foot end this does make application so easy, this tube looks good and it's see through so you can see the shade of lip gloss, it's not as bright on as the colour is in the tube, it's a good indication of colour, and it's good to see how much is left. This does have a sparkle and it smells faintly like lollies and it's so nice to use it just glides on my lips nice and easy to apply. The colour is good but its not a full colour it's more on the sheer side, it is a gloss with a good hint of colour. I've found this to be a lovely texture and it doesn't go to sticky in the container or on my lips. I like to line and fill my lips with a lip pencil for more colour and put this over top, it is also great over a lipstick if I'm after more gloss it doesn't decrease the lasting power of my lip colour as some glosses can do. It's great on its own and good to do a top up, the only thing is it doesn't last soon as the gloss is gone so is the colour any form off eating or drinking it's gone. This is a reasonable price and it lasts.

I found this left my lips sticky like most lip glosses do but it was a barely there kinda sticky. I did find I had to reapply after eating or drinking. After one application my lips were the same colour as the liquid in the tube. I love the packaging, theres a cute little quilt pattern in the black lid and the clear glass just contrast together. The flat foot applicator means easy on and easy application in the corners. I;d recommend if you're after a quick colour and don't mind touching up whenever you eat.
