Bold. Opaque. Recklessly loaded with pigment. For lips that speak louder than words.

I AM IN LOVE

I absolutely love this lipstick range, the colours are gorgeous! I have pink planet (a bright pink), coquette (a gorgeous cappuccino nude), no she didn't (bright aqua blue) and mint to be (a nice pastel green). My next purchases will be D'lilac & Chinchilla!

These lipsticks are ultra creamy, and super pigmented. They go a long way, and will last a long time. All of them smell delicious (like vanilla cream) & come in super cute pink, sparkly packaging with an outline of a unicorn on them, they are so adorable! They are easy to wind up, and have a good amount of product in them.

They are true to their name, and being opaque, offer full coverage with a few swipes. They do wear away with eating and drinking, however do have some resistance to that.

These are my all time favorite lipstick, I even prefer these over MAC :)... If you have not tried these yet, I recommend you go out and buy one asap, it will change your life :)

Tips: You can even mix the colours, just pop one colour straight on top of another to achieve a new colour/shade :)

Lime Crime

I have one of these lipsticks in Coquette and I adore it. The packaging was the original thing that caught my attention and I love the purple bullet with the holographic unicorn! So pretty! Now to the lipstick itself. I personally think they smell really good, like the MAC lipsticks. It's the perfect peachy brown nude shade and I find the lasting power to be really good, although I do need to reapply it after I initially put it on. I love these lipsticks and the shade range is so different and the colours so pretty which definitely sets them apart from other lipsticks.

Favourite Lippy

I absolutely love Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick!!. They are so pigmented and easy to apply. I usually only reapply this lipstick once during the day, and that's after lunch. I have a couple of shades, and can't wait to purchase the rest. I always carry my Coquette lipstick with me :)

Tips: I think they look best with a lip liner.

Lovin Lime Crime

I had no idea about Lime Crime before joining BR didn't know it existed. Since then i've seen so much talk of the Lime Crime lipsticks around here that it made me feel like I had to have it! So I finally took the plunge and got an opaque lipstick in coquette and also a velvetine. This is the most expensive lipstick i've ever purchased I was either going to be really happy or really disappointed, the moment I put this to my lips I was relieved to notice instantly it is far superior to every other lipstick I own.

The color I have coquette is very a light almost nude pale pink shade, one of the more subtler colors in the range. Application is smooth providing lips are hydrated /moisturised and it has a sweet vanilla scent to it. To me the quality of the formula is top notch, very opaque, rich solid color & creamy, it's a bit on the dry side I think it's a good idea to use a balm as a primer. The finish is matte, transfer is minimal as it seems to dry on the lips rather than slide off and is noticeably visible on my lips for around 4 hours.

The packaging is obviously unique which I gather is part of the reason people find this brand so alluring, and although the packaging is of sound quality it's really no better than any other lipstick I own prettiness aside.

I will definately purchase some more Lime Crime opaque lipsticks at some stage as this one has become my new favorite and I do think it's worth that extra bit of cash. Although to be honest I don't own a lot of lipsticks, about 10 all common brands like Maybelline, L'oreal, Covergirl, in comparison to these it really stands out as being far better quality.

Tips: Exfoliate and make sure lips are well hydrated prior to applying.

Rainbow lips

Great range of colours including wearable everyday colours and more adventurous colours. The formulas amazing creamy and so pigmented, two swipes max for full coverage. Some colours stain your lips but I like that, they're long wearing and worth collecting. Keep in mind the texture of them on your lips changes the longer you wear them, from a creamy feeling to more matte / stained feeling but not dry.

Tips: Use lip liner they can slip when eating

Lime Crime

Lime Crime lipsticks are such awesome and interesting colours! My personal favourites include babette - quite neutral, pinky nude, great pink planet - a pastel pink with neon note, centrifuschia - fuchsia pink, geradium - light coral with neon note and countessa - cool based neon pink - yes I tend to stick with the pinks/neutrals but would love to try the more unusual tones such as serpentina - metallic green, airborne unicorn - candy purple, mint to be - mint green, new yolk city - banana yellow and no she didn't - bubblegum blue. They last amazingly (hours) and have super cool packaging! What more could you want!? With a RRP for $32 they are quite reasonably priced - a little goes a long way, and being a matte finish they do wear/last well! They are definitely a unique range of colours and I love that! Recommended to anyone that likes something a little different!

Tips: Make sure lips are well hydrated due to the matte consistency of these products, or, avoid them if your lips are super dry!

Centrifuschia: obsessed

I'm pretty much the opposite of a bandwagon jumper. If anything gets hyped I'm more likely to stubbornly avoid it. But when I've heard such great things about these lipsticks from so many people, and they were available for $20 in a shade I loved (Centrifuschia) I decided to go for it - and whoaaaaaaah. Crazy in love.

For a start, these come in a purple and silver tube, with a holographic unicorn, stars, and the Lime Crime logo. There is no mistaking the brand or product. On first glance I actually thought the packaging was OTT but I now realise that was crazy talk as I'm falling more and more in love with it all the time.

You open the tube to reveal the lipstick finger, which is nestled in a silver interior tube. The scent jumps out first - to me it smells a little like vanilla, raspberry and cherry blossom: sweet, with a little bit of fruit and flower. It's a sexy, happy scent. When you twist the lipstick finger up it literally screams colour. Centrifuschia is a bold, sassy bright pink with just a hint of purple in the undertone.

One layer on your lips is bright and pretty, two is out of this world bold, gorgeous and sexy. Because these are opaque they're designed to be built, and you can add other colours under or on top to alter the tone and colour to your hearts content.

The curious thing about these lipsticks - that I love - is that the colour transfers to whatever you're using your mouth for - yet your mouth still stays looking made up. It's like the first layer stains your lips with an indelible base coat that hangs around until forcibly removed. That alone makes these lipsticks invaluable, and I'll definitely be buying more while I can (not to mention a spare of this shade!), as I believe they are leaving the NZ market soon.

I'm relatively new to bright lipstick and this was a little confronting for the first few minutes, but I am so in love with the sassy, sexy, bold statement it makes.

Lime Crime lover here!

Tips: If you can't handle the bright, overlay it with a sheer purple or paler pink for a gorgeous, toned down shade

I've since picked up Countessa Flourescent, which is a bright neon pink, and just as stand-out as Centrifuschia. Countessa doesn't stain the same way, but is a super girls, pretty shade which jazzes up a black dress instantly. Just as gorgeous x

Love Lime Crime

I have 3 Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks and I love them!! I have Great Pink Planet (my absolute fave!!), Geradium and Centrafuschia. All these a pink tones and look beautiful on.

I wear Lime Crime everyday and love the bright, fun colours and the fact that they are so long wearing. They wear really well and are very pigmented.

I would highly recommend Lime Crime to everyone wanting a bright, bold lipstick that will last hours!!

Tips: All Lime Crime Lipsticks are matte and very opaque. If you are wanting a glossy lipstick then these are not the right lippy for you. However if it is a matte look you are after then you have come to the right brand!!

❤️❤️❤️

These are my fave lippies. So opaque n long lasting. Some weird colours but even those are super pigmented. My favourite lipsticks by far. These lipsticks are extremely creamy. It glides and acts as a second skin on the lips. Love the fact that it's vegan as well. The colours are wild too. Have chinchilla and although it looks unwearable it is a beautiful colour. One coat is opaque enough to last a good 4 hours when eating food that's hard to come by. $30 a piece is worth it. TRUST ME! You will definitely not be disappointed with these. My favourite is poisonberry. The vamp berry colour is just exquisite and wearable for any situation. Coquette and babette are strong nudes. These two colours are extremely opaque for a nude. It looks like it has a white base tone but are incredibly beautiful! Try any one and you'll see what I mean. They're addictive!

Tips: No need for vase or balm, just exfoliate lips n apply
