Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick Review

I enjoy wearing my colour inject lipstick, and it is moisturising and doesn't dry your lips out in the way that many lipsticks do, I however find that I have to keep applying it. It really doesn't seem to last on my lips not matter what I am doing! It is easy to put on and has a soft and pleasant scent.

I love these lippies, I have a few! They glide on smoothly, have a decent pop of colour, and also some nice nude colours too. They last for ages and have a slight gloss to them.

I purchased one of these lippies in a dark purple shade, and was very impressed! The packaging is flawless, the lipstick itself goes on easily but also stays put throughout the day, is easy to remove, wears well. Basically everything you need a lippy to do! There's really not much else to say here — great range of colours, great company supporting animal rights, affordable. Defs recommend!

I bought 3 shades from NZSale some years back; Tango (glittery rich orange - not sure what I was thinking uh I clearly wasn't), Macarena (quite a boring brown nude compared to the name) and Quickstep (one of the best chocolate browns I've come across).

As odd as it sounds I love the smell of these lipsticks - they smell how a lipstick should smell, not masked with some cocoa, vanilla or bubble gum scent but the scent of good old fashioned lipstick. The packaging is awful; a bulky glossy black case with pink print and a pink band around the middle. Amongst my lipstick collection; they stick out like a sore thumb.

The lipsticks feel great on the lips, they're silky smooth and moisturising. The application of the three lipsticks are not consistent; Quickstep is the model lipstick that goes on evenly and is opaque with just one swatch. Macarena on the other hand needs a good 4 swipes to get any decent colour pay off while Tango goes on patchy which is annoying because you want to ensure the glittery shimmers are evenly distributed. The only thing that's probably consistent is the satin-like finish.

My favourite is Quickstep and I wish it came in a matte finish because I'm pretty sure I'd sport it more often than the one right now. I don't buy the claim that they're a long lasting lip colour, like any satin finish they come away much easier than a matte finish. I can get 2-3 hours wear (no eating or drinking) before they begin to move.

As with most of my lipsticks I prefer to line, fill, apply and blot and then I can generally push it out to 4 hours and atleast be left with a lovely wash of colour or stain (except for Macarena). I think these lipsticks are a good buy and I would recommend them but at the same time I'd advise people to be mindful that they don't last very long.

I have this lipstick in the shade mambo. It's a beautiful nude, a really easy to wear pinky brown. This is probably one of my top nude shades that I own and I own quite a Few! It's very flattering to my light skin and I also think it would work for medium skin tones as well.

This comes packaged in a sleek black tube. It has a hot pink metallic ring around it and the writing is pink also. It looks simple but nice. The lid also feels very secure when it's done up.

The formula of this lipstick, is as they say, very creamy and moisturizing. It feels very nice to apply and it also applies with a good color pigment and not patchy. The finish is slightly glossy, I like to add a gloss over the top sometimes for an extra boost of shine. It has a slight vanilla scent but I can also smell that typical lipstick scent that I guess non scented lippys smell Like!

The downside for me is wear time. I don't really expect normal lipstick to last through eating or drinking, and this doesn't either, but it barely lasts 1.5 hours without me needing to reapply. That is not long lasting at all so I was quite showed to see this lipstick claim to be long Lasting! That puts me off buying this again in the same or different colors. I do love the shade but will keep an eye out for a dupe in a longer lasting formula Instead!

Indie Rock is black so obviously isn't a shade for everyone. It is very moisturizing and smells okay. The colour isn't as opaque as I would like and it has a shiny finish when I kind of prefer matte.

This is my first Australis product. I wouldn't normally buy Australis but with constantly seeing products on social media, I had to give this a try.I enjoy using lipstick and I wanted to expand my collection by purchasing this one. Australis is fast becoming a popular make up Brand.

This lipstick comes in this smooth black container. On the outside is this metallic pink writing, I like it , it's eye catching. It is starting to wear off which is a bit of a bummer. On the base of this lipstick is a see through base that you can see the colour lipstick inside.

Samba is a pinky nude. It's a medium pink. This colour is surprisingly good. There's no streaks in it like others I've used. This one is more of matte than a satin lipstick.

I wore this colour on my graduation. I got so many compliments about how nice my lipstick looked. Most times I don't really get complimented on lipstick so I was pleasantly surprised. I did have to re apply this lipstick after I've eaten and drank.

After using this lipstick a few times I'm happy with the way it looks on my lips. The colour pay off is good. I really want to buy more colours to try them out. I got my lipstick in a two pack from Kmart for sixteen dollars. A velourlips was inside this pack too. I got a good bargain and avoided paying fifteen dollars each. I definitely want to purchase more Australis products.

I do like a creamy lipstick and this lipstick promised to be one. And it was. The lipstick claims to be "a long lasting, moisturising and nourishing lip colour with an injection of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants".

Long lasting: it lasted about standard lipstick time, but I wouldn't call it long lasting as such.

Moisturising: this was a creamy moisturing feeling lipstick which I loved.Which could come from ingredients in the lipstick such as jojoba and avocado oil.

An injection of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants: I can't say I felt the antioxidants nor when I looked at the ingredients list did the vitamins stick out. But it certainly had a few minerals in it, particularly iron based ones.

In terms of colour it was a nice smooth, slide on with not problems colour and they have a few colours to choose from. I liked the pinks and purples best and I felt their range of browns was a bit lacking in the choice of shades.

Overall, this lipstick is a nice creamy lipstick that is affordable and for that reason I would use it again.

I love this. I used it the first time for my sisters 21st and i only had to apply it twice in the whole night. It gives an amazing colour and leaves a stain that doesn't come off in normal activity but comes off perfectly when removing makeup. I brought the colour Samba and I would highly recommend! I LOVE IT
