Smashbox Lip Enhancing Mega Gloss Review

I got this one as a gift .The gloss is nice and thick, slightly leaning towards sticky. The shade I had was very sheer , so I would normally wear a lipstick under it as my lips are quite pigmented.The lasting power isn't so great.

I have this in a nude almost clear colour and it is such a versatile product. It is great on it's own or great with lipstick. It doesn't have too much of a smell or taste which I like. I dislike overpowering lip glosses that leave a taste in ya mouth. This product lasts so so long, this product outlasts every other lipgloss I have ever used and is so moisturizing. The packaging is nothing amazing, it's standard and practical. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it is a fairly sticky texture.

I looooove smashbox. Adore it. I love their lipsticks, their bb, their halo powder, palettes, bronzer, o-gloss, brushes, used every single mascara, but this.. fell a little flat for me. I liked it in that it felt beautifully silky and actually quite hydrating on my lips, but it certainly wasn't a "high impact colour" just a nice wash that didn't last all that long. Also, I was really annoyed because the fantastic brush wand broke after about two uses and the fibres went into the gloss. The product was fine but it meant I could only apply it with the wand stump. Luckily I had another lip gloss which fitted the end so I just replaced the wand when I finished the other one, but the breaking was still far less than ideal. I've still got the gloss but I have other products which I use instead usually, but I do like this one over a lippy because it does have a beautiful shine. Also formula is a teeeeensy bit sticky, but much less than the limitless gloss.
