I bought this on my never ending quest to make matte lipsticks work for me (conclusion: mattes are best on lips under 35!) This is a slim, wind up plastic pencil. The lip liner is a clear wax that glides on and is easy to apply. I find it is best to outline outside of my lips to prevent lipstick feathering and shifting. This is when I got the best results from this, otherwise there wasn't much difference to when I used no lip liner at all.
I didn't use this every day but it didn't seem to last that long. You also have to be careful not to press so hard and break it. I might buy this again, once I've tried out a few other brands to see if I get a better result. I think a thicker pencil might work better for me although I like the fact that I don't have to sharpen this one.
I love this lipliner because I don't have to buy separate liners to match all my lip colours. It is a clear wax that lasts long.This is great at keeping the lip colours from feathering. However I do not use lipsticks often just tints, liquid lipsticks and glosses. So I have no idea how this will work with regular lipsticks. So far it has been my go to liner and I always take this when I'm traveling.
Tips: Use this to line both slightly inside and outside of your natural lip line. And then wait for a bit and do other makeup, then apply your lippie as ususal.
