I've been using this product for a month and out of all the MAC lip products I've used, this is the most comfortable on the lips.
I have the shade Preserving Passion. It's a purple pink in the tube but comes out more purple red before fading to a candy floss pink.
This can go on opaque and glossy while staying in place for a good few hours so you always look lip ready! It does a fantastic job at staining and it starts to fade after 7 hours or if I eat, then 4-5 hours.
$58 is pretty steep but given that it's comfortable on the lips, not drying and I have a shade that works for me it's worth the splurge. It's not an item I would rush out to buy the entire collection but it gets my vote for being kind to my lips.
