I should point out I am not a gloss fan, I own two or three, infact I am what you could call a hater of all things lipgloss like, I cannot stand the sticky goopy tacky texture of most glosses and am constantly getting them all through my hair on windy days and just generally find them a mess. This gloss has changed my opinion on wearing gloss - it is smooth and buttery with a silicone like texture, it has a pearlescent effect which gives fullness and dimension but without any glitter or irritating gritty particles. The shade 'Beauty and brains' is the perfect cool toned nude rose pink mauve which is super wearable and looks good alone or paired with a liner. A very classic colour which is a staple for most people, I would say the pearl in this is a blend of silver, pink and bronze which makes it quite universal and not too frosty looking (I also cannot stand frosty lip products another pet hate of mine). The tube is nice and compact and fits perfectly in my lipstick holder. The tube looks expensive and the applicator applies just the perfect amount. The fragrance is a beautiful buttery vanilla and the ingredients list is very favourable - I see mostly natural ingredients and oils and no parabens. The wear time is also very good - It moisturises during wear rather than drying out my lips like most glosses. Overall this product has changed my mind on glosses and I will seek out more of these.
